About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets since I was a kid. I’ve walked dogs for my neighbors, fed horses, goats and chickens for family friends, and pet sat many other dogs and cats. I work from home at night, so I will be able to be attentive all day. My husband works during the day from home as well, so there will always be a set of eyes on your pet! I have a fully fenced yard. We do have 3 dogs but all are very loving and have gotten along with any animal they have met. We have a spare room that we can use to keep them separated if necessary, otherwise your pet will have free roam and will be treated like family.

About: Pets have always been a part of my life. I was raised with multiple cats and dogs, and from an early age developed a strong love and knowledge of caring for animals. I currently have two dogs and a cat, and have applied for this position because I truly understand the struggle of having to leave and find someone trustworthy to care for them while I am away. From puppies and kittens, to senior pets, I will provide your pet with the same love and attention that I would wish for my own. I currently work full-time as an Instructional Specialist. I am free in the evenings and on weekends with the exception of holidays and Summer break. I am free Monday-Sunday during summer months and holiday breaks. We have a large yard for walking and a clean and quiet home for your pet to relax. I have no children except for my own two pups. I will take care of your pet as I would take care of my own.

About: I am a second year veterinary student who has worked as a small animal veterinary assistant for about 3 years. I have experience in caring for senior pets and younger puppies/kittens as well. I grew up with dogs and cats, and now have a three-legged cat of my own. I am very reliable, thorough, and will care for your pets as my own. I’m currently home for the summer after my first year of vet school, so I have plenty of time to help you care for your fur babies! My current part-time work/volunteer schedule will allow me to have a flexible schedule to meet you and your pets’ needs. I have one dog and four cats at home who all get along very well and their comfort is the top priority. I will ensure your pets safety and comfort needs are met based on your instructions given. I am able to crate your animals, leash walk only if needed, and keep a close eye on them when going outside. If your animals need to be kept separate at any point such as meal time, I will be able to accommodate for that as well.

As an adult I have managed boarding kennels, worked at a veterinary hospital, and have my own pet sitting company, In Your Absence. I am a recent graduate with a master of science in animal science. About: Hello! My name is Abby and I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and plants since 2015. Pet-sitting truly is my joy!! I have experience checking in on pets during the day time, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs of all shapes and sizes on walks, and overnight house sitting for up to 2 weeks at a time. Thanks to my daytime job as a Youth Pastor my schedule is more flexible than most. I pride myself on customizing each pet sitting experience to the pet and their owner(s). The beauty of pet sitting over boarding is that this experience can be tailored to what YOUR special needs are! Like I said my experience is considerable, I am also self taught for basic pet training. For instance, if your dog has a history of on-leash walking issues, while I’m with them I’d be happy to plant seeds for good behavior on future walks. Just say the word and I’ll do everything I can to make it happen! Historically I’ve acquired jobs mainly from word of mouth. While I may be newer to a platform like Rover, know that I am a well-seasoned pet sitter who has experience with a variety of households, breeds, ages, and situations. I pride myself on my vast skill set when it comes to pet sitting so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I’m at your service! My full-time job is being a Youth Pastor. This means I have a very flexible schedule and am able to pop in to care for your pets at the needed times or even work remotely if needed. Most weeks my meetings are limited to Tuesday mornings, otherwise my schedule is pretty fluid. While I am unable to offer my own home for pet sitting, I can guarantee that I will care for your pet(s) in their home environment as well as I would my own. If you have a dog, one of my first questions I ask when pet-sitting is… “how long is your dog accustomed to waiting in between potty breaks?” I ask because each pet has different needs and I never want to make a dog wait longer than they typically would. I also want to keep to their normal schedule as much as possible, if they’re used to daily walks at certain times or being feed at very particular times then I will make notes to care for them the same way you do. The goal truly is for the dog or cat to receive the same attention and care that they have when their favorite people are home :)

About: I have always loved animals. I very much care about their comfort and wellbeing. I’m also always ready for a good puppy or kitty cuddle! I have a pretty open schedule usually. I just need a heads up in advance. For drop ins I usually prefer afternoons, but it’s interchangeable. I can stay with your dog for most of the day usually, if needed. I’d also be happy to feed, play with, and walk them.

About: I’ve been dog sitting on and off for a while now. I’ve used other dog sitting apps in the past and I’ve recently moved into a larger house to have plenty of room for your fur baby to have room to run and play. I will provide walks and play time everyday, and if you need baths or anything extra I will. I’m home 90% of the time so your fur baby will never really be alone. I can do dog boarding and/or drop in visits. I’m very flexible and if have a multiple day stay we can negotiate a better price for your babies. About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals. I currently do Rover full-time, but have worked at a dog boarding/training facility and have worked with/handled dogs of all sizes and breeds. Although I have more experience around dogs I love cats just as much! I have no issues with certain breeds, ages, sizes, or handling medicine (so long as it is nothing a professional vet should handle). I can’t wait to watch and care for your fur babies! I pet-sit full time, giving me plenty of free time to walk, watch, and love your pets! My schedule is also very flexible making it easier to schedule based off your needs! I do have my own dog but unfortunately she is not friendly with other animals. Because of this I can only do daycare/overnight at clients own homes and walks/check-ins. I have plenty of personal and professional experience with aggressive animals and have no issues watching/walking aggressive dogs so long as both me and you are comfortable with it. With that being said it is important to me that any aggressive behavior whether with animals and/or people is told upfront and honestly as well meeting the dog ahead of time.

I have no problem w/ Pee Pee/Poo Poo, pad disposal, turf cleaning and walk through's to find accidents so that when you're back, you enjoy your time! Communication is key,...you tell me what you need. I have a few available weekends between now and then. I am available the weekend of Memorial day and the holiday; check my calendar! STARTING MAY30th for all your SUMMER care needs; I am available everyday and am flexible with times! I am a school teacher and can spend this interim time getting to know you and your needs prior to to your departure for vacations, outings, work trips or get-aways! One summer weekend is my vacation; dates are July 25-27th, unable to provide services.; it is a Saturday, Sunday and a Monday. Safety: Dog-My medium sized Westie (Sallie Mae) needs: Door shut immediately behind me (both glass door and hardwood door). She uses a harness/retractable leash for walks and a collar/retractable leash for short walk around house for fresh air/bathroom break. I am mindful always of any visible items on the floor that may have been dropped and could be of hazard! I also vacuum daily to reach areas under the bed for this reason also. I check that her pet stairs to my bed are placed accordingly to get accessibility to the bed. Food and water are always checked twice daily and located in 2 different parts of the house. Cat- My cat (Baby Muffin) does not try to escape to the outdoors (yet.....), however; as a precaution I rarely open my sliding glass door open largely or for any longer than necessary. I am mindful always of any visible items on the floor that may have been dropped and could be of hazard! I also vacuum daily to reach areas under the bed for this reason also. Food and water are always checked twice daily and located in 2 different parts of the house. I am always aware of her visibility, for example, if she does not appear when I am home or prior to leaving my home; I check for any closed coset doors, cabinets, etc. for a place she may have accidentally been trapped. Trust: Dog-My Westie needs immediate attention and "lovins'" when I walk through the door. Prior to leaving her she is talked to a prepped for me leaving by telling her key statements and then leaving three varieties of chew bones in front of the refrigerator (which she waits for). Trust is provided through routine and consistency. For example, everyday a You Tube video plays a repeating jazz coffee house with ambiance. I also take the measure of saying her name with happy intentions prior to entering my home to ensure she knows it is me at the door. Trust is continuing to repeat the names of her toys daily with playtime and telling her what is happening prior to a walk, etc. or getting close to dinner, bedtime or a ride/walk. Cat-My cat gets talked to immediately when arriving home to ensure she knows just how loved she is! I call her name sweetly and she's petted. She is given cat treats in her special bowl twice a day. At my house, I try to provide trust through routine and consistency. I offer her many places to sleep by herself with her special blankets and provide toys rotated for stimulation (springs, play mice and of course a random paper bag!) Environment: Sallie Mae and Baby Muffin: I have a daily routine where they are give their special treats twice a day, keeping fresh food and water available and rotated, clean bedding for their special sleeping. Our daily routine includes that the TV is left on with YouTube coffee-house jazz ambience and I always provide calming statements of affirmation for them when leaving for the day and again when arriving home. Cat- In the morning, the litterbox is cleaned with scooper and fresh litter is added as needed. I then take that trash out so that litter is not a bad fragrance when returning home. Cat hairballs are discarded as needed and floor area cleaned. Dog- Twice a week I clean a Turf system and relace turfs with clean ones while the others are rinsed and dried. Monthly grooming for her is provided through a mobile service. However; I give Sallie Mae a bath anytime it is needed with special shampoo, tepid warm water with a shower sprayer and then immediately wash and dry her towels that were used.

I just work part time, 3 nights per week, so my schedule is very open to love and care for your pets along with mine! I have a fenced yard as well as a fenced porch. My 2 fur babies are free roamers inside and are super friendly and loving!

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, my own and others included, since as far back as 8 years old. I've always enjoyed taking care of animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages and it makes my heart happy to see my kids following in those footsteps as they get older as well. I have a husband of almost 11 years, which will occasionally be helping with some of the pet care, and we have 2 kids (ages 4 and 9) so you know your animals will get plenty of cuddles and play time. We all enjoy and love your pets like our own! Our pets of our own include chickens which are all kept inside of a fenced in area. We live on roughly 3 acres of "unfenced land" at the end of our paved neighborhood road. Included in that are a few scenic trails through the woods on our property, so that means we have plenty of space for your fur babies to have some play time outside in the yard, and walks through the neighborhood/trails for exploration, exercise, and relaxation throughout the day! We are here with open arms ready to care for your sweet babies and willing to learn about each of their individual needs to make sure we make them and you feel comfortable and part of our family in the process! From boarding overnight, to drop-in visits when you can't be there, to random play visits/walking your fur babies, or even meeting/helping you with multiple animals' vet visits..... No matter the job or type of animal, give us a try and you won't be disappointed! We can't wait to hear from you and to make you part of the fam! I am a part time teacher/part time stay-at-home mom/wife so I have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies to make sure they get all the love, care, and attention they deserve for whatever the job you may need for them! Your pets are housed inside our home as one of the family. We have plenty of crates inside our house for individual sleeping spaces. We also use baby gates throughout the house to separate areas of our house so animals can be separated in their own spaces if and when needed. I always communicate quickly with clients and make sure to send lots of pictures to assure them of their pets experience and exceptional care with my family and I. I also provide each animal with an apple air tag just as a safety precaution when they are in my care for mine and my clients peace of mind.
