About: I have over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. My love for animals started when I was young, walking dogs for neighbors and friends, and it quickly grew into a lifelong passion. As I got older, I volunteered at my local humane society and have continued providing trusted pet care for pets ever since. I have extensive experience working with dogs of all temperaments, including reactive dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who may show aggressive behaviors. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment for every dog in my care. In addition, I have experience with housebreaking as well as basic obedience training, and I’m happy to help reinforce routines and good habits during your pet’s stay. I have experience with house breaking and basic obedience training. I work part time from home which gives me a lot of flexibility to do what I’m most passionate about which is taking care of animals!

Now I own and operate Pawsitive Journey, so in a way uou could say that dream has turned into a reality. I'm experienced with a wide variety of behaved dogs, puppies and more. About: Hi there! I'm a lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. Throughout my life, I have taken care of multiple different species including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and even hedgehogs! You name it! I believe animals leave unique paw prints on our hearts in their own special way and that's why they deserve the best. I have been working at Pine Grove Zoo as the Curator for over 7 years now and working with so many species has given me the ability to read animals in a unique way. I promise to treat every critter as if they are my own as long as you are okay with them being spoiled. My corgis and cat can definitely show you how fun of a time your pets will have while in my care. I am available Monday through Thursday, typically after 3:30 p.m. On Fridays, usually I am available any time of day. On the weekends, my time is flexible as long as an advance notice is given. I currently have a fenced in yard at my house so there is plenty of room to explore and have potty breaks. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly and we don't live on a busy street, so it is a wonderful area for walks. There is also a beautiful hiking trail that is only a short distance away and my dogs can testify for all the squirrels that are found there.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was a child and have a friend who is a vet if I have any questions that arise that I can’t readily answer. I can safely bath and administer medication if needed. My little dog is my whole world so yours will be too. I like to be able to provide piece of mind for people needing a sitter they can trust with a member of there family. It’s as important as if they were one of your children. I can crate your dog if you bring one. I live in a very secure property and work in the area so I am always close by.

“Sonja stayed in our home and sat for our cat and dog for 3 nights/4 days. We are so thankful to have found her. We have a 5 lb dog who is pretty helpless (can’t go up and down stairs, can’t jump up into a bed) and incredibly fragile, so it made us really nervous to leave her with just anyone. However, upon first meeting, my dog let Sonja pick her up instantly, which she normally never lets strangers pick her up. Sonja is a kind and gentle soul, so it’s very easy to trust that she was going to treat our pets and home with care. Our pup was very happy to see us when we got home, and we could tell by how happy she was that we left her in good hands. Now that found Sonja, we can finally start traveling again!”

About: My first mommy gig I ever had was when me and my husband introduced Saydie, our fun loving, energetic pup to our siblings and friends. That was 13 years ago and now I have 4 human babies and Saydie is still my side kick! She loves being a big sister! I want to first and foremost want to let you know I don’t see pets as “just animals”. They are family, best friends and loving, feeling beings that crave attention and affection from the people who take them into their homes. I know how important my Saydie is, I know how important your special one is to you! In every activity listed, i will take pride and joy making sure your pup is treated with dignity and respect. If they have special routines I will make sure outlines are strictly followed while making sure they and yourself are comfortable with the schedules. I have been through all the fun (and sometimes crazy) early puppy years with my Saydie, feel at ease knowing I will help with my best ability to make sure your pup gets through obstacles unharmed and of course, always having a ton of fun in 5e process! I’ve been through potty training many times (6 to be exact, if you count my human babies! Ha!) and am aware of the little extra time needed for you to become happy and satisfied with their status. Potty breaks a few extra times for your little fur baby, especially if they are right in the middle of training process my yard is not fenced in but it’s not too small and there’s enough space for a long yard leash to have outside time and my neighbors are very respectful, they are already used to my dog, so there won’t be any issues there. I will come to your residence to check on them or visit them. I have NO criminal background and I know how extremely imperative it is that your home is respected and cared for. Everything will be exactly as it was when you left it and I will make sure your place is locked down safely and your little fur baby is managed before I leave. I want you to feel at ease knowing everything is being well watched while you can’t be there! I am up 6am-10p everyday for my own family, I would love to invite yours to visit when your away! My children are ages 4-9 and they absolutely LOVE all kinds of animals! They are very well educated in the proper ways to behave around animals and how to handle dogs with extreme care. They love meeting new furry friends! Call or check in anytime while your dog is in my care! I want to involve you as much as I can so you are comfortable with my services! I know how leaving them can sometimes stressful for not only you, but also them. They will know they are welcome in my home. Looking to fill my day time hours with bookings for pet care. All my children attend school 9am-430pm Monday - Friday every week!!
