About: Hi, I’m Stephanie—an animal care professional with 13+ years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for creating safe, enriching, and loving environments for animals of all kinds. My journey has taken me from the wilderness of Alaska*, where I raised and cared for a team of Alaskan Husky sled dogs, to leadership roles in animal welfare—working my way up to Operations and CSR Lead at an animal shelter, while also serving as a Client Experience Coordinator at a busy animal emergency hospital. In early 2025, I proudly founded my own rescue, Pawsitive Tales Rescue, where I continue to advocate for and care for vulnerable animals in need. Animals aren’t just my career—they’re my life. Whether I’m caring for playful puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, or medical-needs pets, I bring patience, experience, and genuine compassion to every animal I meet. My background in shelter medicine, emergency veterinary care, rescue work, and behavior gives me the confidence to care for pets with a wide variety of personalities and needs. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors adventuring with my retired sled dogs and my corgi—usually hiking, exploring, or chasing the next view. I can’t wait to meet your furry family. 🐾 I’m currently working part-time at the local animal shelter and part-time as an animal care taker. In addition, I have six of my own dogs and two cats. It’s dogs and cats from the moment I wake up until I go to bed! I have a fenced in yard where your pup can run and stretch their legs as much as they want! All of my dogs are friendly and social and my cats are dog savvy. You’re pets will be treated with the best care possible - I’ll treat them as if they’re my own.
About: I've had pets my whole life, I watch the pets of my friends and family as often as I'm needed. I make sure they're fed, hydrated and go on walks daily. I also have experience working with blind and deaf dogs. I am on Medical Leave from work and pet care is what I am best at. I am free all day every day including weekends. I am best at caring for pets in other peoples homes. If I'm staying somewhere overnight i bring my own food, towels, blankets and pillows and i'm able to sleep anywhere including couches and floors. I am not able to watch pets in my own home as I live in a very small apartment that pets are not allowed in.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs almost my entire life. I love the unconditional love they give. I enjoy spending time outside but also can relax inside. Whatever suits your dog best. I’ve dealt with crazy hyper dogs (like my own) and also the dogs that rather relax alone. Each holds a special place in my heart. I work full time currently 9 hour days Monday-Thursday and a 4 hours day Friday mornings! If your dogs are comfortable being home longer during the day I am more than happy to hangout in the evenings! Fridays midday-Sunday evenings is when I am most available to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! I love to be outside so keeping an eye on any dog while letting them outside will not be an issue. I can leash them if preferred. The dog will be in the comfort on their own house!!
About: I have owned and taken care of numerous breeds of dogs. They range from all types of bully breeds, various mastiff breeds, terriers, and more. I am very comfortable with multiple types of dog personalities and have also trained several dogs. I am retired and able to spend quality time with your pet. Your pet will be in my home with me and my wife. I love to spend my time outside or relaxing in my large yard! I can offer numerous potty breaks and am flexible with various schedules. We live on a lake with 3 acres of land. Your pet will be one of our family members and treated well with lots of playtime and cuddling. I currently have one dog who is very friendly with other dogs. I have a large yard with alot of wooded areas and very low traffic streets around me. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and on beds as we love to cuddle. However we follow your wishes, meaning if you prefer no bed then they will have plenty of dogs beds on the floor to sleep on.

About: I have owned a pet all my life, I had a dog like many young kids and at around 17 I started taking care of her full time. (She was a small dog) After she passed I adopted a cat and took care of him. More recently I pet sit for my friends and neighbors dealing with dogs as young and as big as a 1 year old Great Dane. I also have taken care of 18 year old cats that needed medication twice a day. I make sure to ask what your expectations are and do my best to exceed those and take great care of your pets. I understand that pets are more than just animals they are your family and it is an important responsibility to take care of them while you are away. I am currently a freelance artist and substitute teacher which makes me available to meet nearly everyone’s schedule as I am able to make my own. If you need a strict schedule with specific times for your animals comfort I am more than able to accommodate that. It is important to me when taking care of an animal that they are staying in a safe and clean home, I am more than capable and willing to clean up any and all messes that arise while you are away.
About: My love of animals started at a very young age. I grew up on a farm with many dogs, cats, and horses. I look forward to caring for your fur babies as if they were my own. I know it can be difficult to leave them, but know they are in excellent hands. I work as a nurse so I do have some extra time off during the week/weekends. I am mostly available early mornings or the late afternoons/evenings. On my days off, I can be flexible! I am here to accommodate yours and your fur baby’s needs! I will provide a fun, yet safe environment both on and off leash. I would want the best care for my pet as well.
About: Just moved into the purrrfect home for my furry friends. Spacious home for them to roam around. Comfy couches to lounge in and beautiful sunset view of the lake to fall asleep to in the sun room. In addition, sloped yard to prance around in. Not only that the lake is only across the street from my very own backyard for lake walks. Message me to learn more. I specialize in boarding. I do occasionally house sit but prefer 1-2 week notice. I do variety of projects that works with my schedule. I choose what works best for you and me. Don't hesitate to ask for accommodation as needed. The back yard has no fencing around to separate houses around but I will always keep a watchful eye out. If your pet is out so am I. I want your beloved to have fresh air and fun as well as be safe.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
