About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs my whole life! Including administering medication (oral and injections). As well as caring for them until they are seniors! I have had dogs of all sizes from bulldogs, to mastiffs! I love getting to know the personality of every dog I’ve owned! I am currently working part-time while going to graduate school! I have had lots of free time since starting it, and would love to spend that time with your dog! I am available most weekends all day long, as well as after 4pm on Thursdays. I will follow all guidelines given to me by the owners! I am flexible and can work with many different situations as needed! I will keep the pets safe in any way I can!

About: I grew up on a 100-acre farm and have spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds. My experience includes both everyday and medical care for livestock and household pets, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and individual needs. I have implemented treat based training as well as clicker training with my own pet. Over the years, my family bred and raised both small and large dog breeds, ranging from Beagles to Great Pyrenees. This hands-on experience has given me confidence working with animals of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels — from high-energy working dogs to elderly and disabled pets requiring extra patience and specialized care. Animal care has always been a true passion of mine. I believe animals are a gift to everyone they meet, and I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and attentive care to every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is my full-time profession, allowing me to provide reliable, flexible, and attentive care for every animal I work with. I also attend school virtually while completing my degree in therapy, which gives me the ability to maintain a consistent schedule dedicated to pet care. My long-term goal is to open a therapy practice incorporating equine-assisted therapy to help support and heal others through the connection between humans and animals. I prioritize providing care in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and able to maintain their normal routines and environment. I believe staying in a familiar space helps reduce stress and anxiety while allowing pets to feel safe and secure. I take the time to follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication administration, and any special needs. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while treating both your pets and your home with the highest level of respect and professionalism.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was around 10 years old. I’ve always had at least one dog at home, and various neighbors and family friends have trusted me to pet sit over the week/ weekends. I would feed, bathe, walk, play with, and hang out with your furry friends!! I am currently a full- time student at UNA!! I have two in person classes, one a day, and I am completely open on Fridays. I currently don’t work so I need some pocket money, I figured the best way was to do something that I love, having out with dogs!! I am great with a leash if your dog needs to be let out or if we go for a walk. I can crate your baby if need be. As long as I am given a list of instructions, I can follow them to a T.

About: I have grown up with and cared for animals since I was a child. I am most experienced with medium to small dogs. I have owned and cared for Irish Setters, Golden Retrievers and English Shepherd mix. I have sat for dogs and horses of friends and family. I have experience working at an Equestrian farm as a ranch hand. I am available during the week for all of your pets needs. Whether that be a hike along the trail, walking downtown, grooming/vet appointment, or just a lazy day at the house. My weekend may be limited. Given advance notice I could be available for weekend services. Currently, I do not own any dogs. Pets will board indoors. I will provide care according to your specifications and pets needs. Your pets will be walked daily for poddy and exercise breaks.

About: A long-time volunteer and animal care-giver, I recently moved to the area to leave the harsh Midwest winters behind. I live with my husband, rescued dogs, and free-range chickens on 8 beautiful acres. I love my pets like they are family, and would love to spend time caring for your pets as well. My experience spans many types of animals including insects, fish, reptiles, mice, rabbits, cats, dogs, chickens, exotics, and farm animals. I have rescued and fostered many dogs, some from the streets of Thailand and India. I miss working at the kennel where my own dogs could interact all day with other dogs in the daycare setting. I still structure my days as if I am running daycare. I separate my dogs into groups according to their size and play preferences. Sometimes a few might want to play rough and tumble or run wild like the wind. At times they just want to dig in the dirt, lounge in the sun, or splash in the doggy pool. There are also times where they just want to be alone in their own space. I have learned to read each dog carefully and try to accommodate their individual needs. I am a full-time dog care provider. At the moment, my schedule is somewhat flexible. I am available early mornings through evenings and overnights in my home. I have some available hours for traveling to your home for drop-in visits and dog walking, but I will no longer be able to stay overnight, as I have dogs coming regularly for Doggy Day Camp. I can accommodate up to 10 dogs a day for daycare, but I prefer smaller groups so my own dogs can join in on the fun. Reservations are preferred, but I may have availability within minutes of a quick text. As far as boarding in my home, the dogs sleep in a community room. This can comfortably hold numerous dogs. The dogs have their choice of couches, chairs, dog beds, or rugs to sleep on. I also have crates available if that is your preference. Reservations are required for boarding and spaces fill up quickly. We are located out on a county road, yet minutes from town. Let your dogs come play all day under the cool canopy of mature oak and hickory trees. We have over 5000 square feet of fenced play yards that overlook 8 acres of woods and native prairie. There are plenty of chirping birds and squirrels to bark at, along with an occasional deer. Free-range poultry also roam the property. The play yard is perfect for dogs that like the freedom to run, dig, and explore. We also have private space for eating, napping, or to relax and recharge between daycare groups. About half of the day will be spent outdoors, but we do have indoor play during inclement weather. Not all of my own dogs are social creatures. They will spend much of the time in private yards or with my husband. I also recognize the fact that not all dogs get along in a social setting. Every dog will be assessed for temperament and activity level, and will only be placed in daycare groups with other dogs of similar size and/or temperament. Dogs are supervised during group play. We have a comfortable community room or numerous sized crates available for overnight stays. We can accommodate up to 5 dogs per night. We provide beds, blankets, food dishes, and water bowls. Group daycare is included with all boarding. We provide clean toys and water for daycare play yards. Yards are poop-scooped numerous times each day.

About: I am so excited for the opportunity to care for your baby! I’ve had a dog, cat, or both since I was little, so I know what it means for fur babies to be family and to want them loved, safe, and well cared for when you’re away. I have taken care of pets, including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, sheep, cows, and horses for 25+ years. I have always had a pet of my own who I was responsible for since I was in first grade. I’ve had to provide medical care to a lame prior racing horse— cleaning, washing, and applying bandages and medicine to his foot while his owner was out of the country. I’ve also cared long-term for my elderly chihuahua, Bungee, who took medication for congestive heart failure and for my elderly cat, Jaq, with renal failure who had to be hand-fed for a few months before she passed. I currently have a large white dog, Caliber (Lab/Pyrenees mix), who was a rescue, a Pyrenees puppy who stays with and guards my chickens, a sweet, black collie-like rescue named Sirius, and outdoor cats and kittens which have been strays we have not turned away. Caliber and Sirius are in and out of the house dog and stay wherever they want— in our temperature controlled garage with a fence-less perimeter around our home due to the road and creek proximity, the living room, or the back deck overlooking the creek. Caliber has his own tempurpedic mattress and enjoys long days snuggling daddy’s feet in his office (my husband works remotely). The cats are used to animals of all kinds and know to keep distance on days I board a potentially cat-aggressive pup. I currently have a lot of flexibility as a mostly stay-at-home mom and I work PRN (as needed). Because I’m typically at am home with my children, I am very available to care for your babies well and give them all the love they need. I do enjoy trips with my family out of town and occasionally have busy seasons with local engagements, but I communicate well and will be very clear about my availabilities to make sure it work with your needs and that of your pet(s). As long as the pet isn’t aggressive, I am very comfortable caring for your baby for you in the comfort of your own home. I always enjoy meeting my new friends before their human(s) leave to make sure to give them time to get to know me and feel comfortable with my presence. It’s a joy to drop in and see how excited some pets get for a little company while their humans are gone. I enjoy walking, so I’m always up for a peppy (or slow) walk with your baby. My pup adores other dogs and loves having friends over, but can also be kept in the office or temperature controlled attached 2-car garage to provide ample space for your pet as we come outside if need be. I have space to crate your pup or cat if that works best for your needs as well. On my property I have a large, unfenced yard and can take your pet for wonderful walks in the grass and alongside the creek with me.

The last client to leave a review I’ve actually been sitting his dogs over the past 3 years till they moved! I work your needs around my work schedule so I can usually work with just about anything. Plenty of love and play time to give your fur babies and references for you! I never take on jobs I don’t think I can handle! I’m very good at time management and fur babies are a high priority for me. I’m available for most types of jobs I try to make sure your pets feel at ease with a new person in their home! About: I have mostly dog sat in the past, but love cats just as much! I have assisted some dogs with health conditions take their medicine. Will strictly follow your preferred pet care according to dogs' or cats' needs. I work M-F, 8-5 but have flexibility. Sometimes I travel or work remotely. If working remote, I can drop in as needed or take my work with me if an animal requires more attention. I have always loved animals growing up. I do not currently have in-home accomodations for pets. However, I would love to meet and love on your pets in their home, and can even assist you by keeping the home clean before your return! This means I know how to enter and exit your home safely if you have a fur baby who likes to run, I wake up daily at 6am to give my babies their breakfast and they get their dinner at 8pm. This also sets me up to be able to adapt to your feeding schedule for your babies. I also adore getting to know the anxious babies. Taking my time and letting them warm up to me is something I pride myself on. Theres something so rewarding about gaining their trust!

About: I'm type of person that will go to a party and first make friends with dog. My home is perfectly spaced for horsing around yet has many cozy places to take a nap and cuddle. I have a nice fenced yard with shaded spot on the rug and bench for lazy days. There is plastic kiddie pool to cool off in, when sunbathing becomes all too much. Street I live on is pretty private and fun to walk with big yards, plenty of bushes and places to sniff. There is a dog park in the mile proximity. My doggies are 2 goofballs that love to hang out with new friends. They might even insist on sharing a toy or two to win the guest over. All in all, we are a fun bunch to hang with. Pet boarding is a full-time venture for me so I will provide the utmost care and attention to your pet and will do my very best to be available to answer any questions or handle any concerns you may have during your pet's stay. Although I devote much of my time to boarding, please be respectful of the times I have listed below for drop-offs and pick-ups. Times for earliest drop-off and latest pick-up Monday to Thursday: 6am-830pm Friday: 6am-9pm Saturday and Sunday: 9am-830pm Be respectful of the times given. We wake up early on a daily basis and go to bed early as well due to early work and school schedules. Please let us know when you will be arriving. Send us a text upon arrival and we will meet you outside to bring your pet inside. This method will prevent barking from the doggos already here and reduce stress and separation anxiety for your pet. Please bring your pet's food in Ziploc bags with his or her name clearly written on them. If there are medications and/or supplements to be given, please include detailed and clearly written or typed instructions. What you DO NOT need to bring: food bowls water bowls pet beds/blankets toys clothes We provide toys (including indoor, outdoor, plush, toys for chewers, so let us know if your dog has a preference), beds, wipes, brushes, and crates if your pet needs one at night. Apart from our home that is open to your pet, we have an additional house on our property that can accommodate guests. We also have part-time staff who can help on an as-needed basis. Your pet will be free to run around our 1/4 acre backyard that is fully enclosed by a 6 foot fence. We have a large gazebo that provides shade during the hotter days. The backyard is divided into a large grassy area and smaller gravel and concrete sections. Fresh water is provided consistently. Tours of our home will not be granted. We will happily provide you with our Instagram account so you can view the premises and also check out our regular guests having a great time. We do not require a meet-and-greet for the stay, but if you would like to do one, our front porch provides the perfect spot for us to meet. We dedicate the weekends between 9am and 11am to any meet-and-greets you wish to have. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets ! My partner, Hunter, and I both have remote positions so we are home most of the time. We absolutely love taking the pups on mid-day walks. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. After dinner, everyone gets a dental bone with enzymatic puppy toothpaste to freshen breath and keep cavities at bay!

I am a proud dog and cat mom so I am familiar with most of your pets’ behavior. I work through the weekdays between 7am-4pm and get a 1 hour lunch break. My weekends are typically free for house sitting/ frequent drop ins. About: I come from a home who owed/bred dogs. I’ve always had a pet. I’ve dealt with puppies, kittens, raccoons, birds, iguanas, and fish. I do crate train as that’s what we do with our own puppies. We provide a safe home for your fur babies, with lots of love and play. I already care for my one fur baby. We have a routine we like to follow, it helps with the pets and children in the home. I have a fenced in yard and generally crate train in my home. We have a routine for walks, feeding, and playtime.... lots of playtime.

About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. Pet care at a clients home will always be carried out with honor and reverence towards the clients, their home and their pets. I was a boyscout growing up and my loving parents taught me well to respect people and animals so when I leave a home I will leave it in the same condition or better than when I arrived. About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments! Any special requests, such as a bath is absolutely no problem for me!! I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to give special attention, I will also be sure to keep me schedule updated! About: I've taken care of my neighborhoods animals since I was younger. With the dogs, I would walk them, play ball with them in the back yard, to bathing them if they needed it to cuddling them if it was a storm night. Hi guy! I just graduated school, so how pet care fits into my dailey routine is that i’m available majority of the time even holidays! How I would keep your pets safe is when we are going on a walk I would make sure they were leased. And then if I was playing ball with them I would make sure the gates where closed. And then during the night if they stayed in a crate I would make sure I had one.
