About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, and even the occasional chicken. As a longtime pet owner myself, I understand how much our animals mean to us. I treat every pet I care for like part of the family, with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by sticking to their usual routine, feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I respect each pet’s personality and any specific instructions you provide. If I’m doing overnight care, I maintain a calm and cozy environment, making sure your pet gets attention, companionship, and consistency while you’re away.

About: I grew up on a 100-acre farm and have spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds. My experience includes both everyday and medical care for livestock and household pets, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and individual needs. I have implemented treat based training as well as clicker training with my own pet. Over the years, my family bred and raised both small and large dog breeds, ranging from Beagles to Great Pyrenees. This hands-on experience has given me confidence working with animals of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels — from high-energy working dogs to elderly and disabled pets requiring extra patience and specialized care. Animal care has always been a true passion of mine. I believe animals are a gift to everyone they meet, and I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and attentive care to every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is my full-time profession, allowing me to provide reliable, flexible, and attentive care for every animal I work with. I also attend school virtually while completing my degree in therapy, which gives me the ability to maintain a consistent schedule dedicated to pet care. My long-term goal is to open a therapy practice incorporating equine-assisted therapy to help support and heal others through the connection between humans and animals. I prioritize providing care in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and able to maintain their normal routines and environment. I believe staying in a familiar space helps reduce stress and anxiety while allowing pets to feel safe and secure. I take the time to follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication administration, and any special needs. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while treating both your pets and your home with the highest level of respect and professionalism.

About: I believe all animals are “good boys” and “good girls“. Unfortunately, as an owner, you can’t always be by your pet’s side so please allow me to be your second pair of eyes, ears, and voice. I am a proud dog and cat mom so I am familiar with most of your pets’ behavior. You will absolutely receive updates regarding your pets wellbeing and the occasional cute pic :) I hope you consider me as your care taker and I look forward to hearing from you! I work through the weekdays between 7am-4pm and get a 1 hour lunch break. My weekends are typically free for house sitting/ frequent drop ins. I will accommodate to the owner’s rules and routines as well as I can. Your pets’ needs are prioritized during my care regardless of my schedule.

About: I have mostly dog sat in the past, but love cats just as much! I have assisted some dogs with health conditions take their medicine. Will strictly follow your preferred pet care according to dogs' or cats' needs. I work M-F, 8-5 but have flexibility. Sometimes I travel or work remotely. If working remote, I can drop in as needed or take my work with me if an animal requires more attention. I have always loved animals growing up. I do not currently have in-home accomodations for pets. However, I would love to meet and love on your pets in their home, and can even assist you by keeping the home clean before your return! My motto is, I like to leave things better than I found them. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

About: Hi guys! I’ve been pet / house sitting for over 5 years now! I love animals and caring for them. The last client to leave a review I’ve actually been sitting his dogs over the past 3 years till they moved! I work your needs around my work schedule so I can usually work with just about anything. Plenty of love and play time to give your fur babies and references for you! I never take on jobs I don’t think I can handle! I’m very good at time management and fur babies are a high priority for me. I’m available for most types of jobs I try to make sure your pets feel at ease with a new person in their home! I can crate them if that’s what you prefer or let them be out and about. Always an eye on them when outside or on a leash. Other than that they spend their time playing and being loved on

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs. I am also experienced in cats, I’ve had one my whole life. I know how to take care of newborn kittens and puppies. I am an experienced dog bather. About: Hello! My name is Amanda, dog mom of two pups myself. We enjoy daily walks, playing all the games & running around in our backyard. Bear is 11 and Luna is 7, ready to meet any new friends that would like to go on walks or need to be watched for a bit of time. My schedule will be open daily, including walks, pet sitting, overnight will be available. With a fully fenced in backyard, safe roads to walk and two medium sized and friendly dogs on the property.

About: I love animals, and have cared for all types of pets all my life. I will love your pets and give them the greatest of care, as if they are my own. I work from home and have a very open schedule. I also have a car and a strong work ethic so when I make a commitment to be somewhere, I am there. I prefer to come to the clients home because I know the animal will be happier in its home environment. I like to give lots of pets, love and attention. I clean up any accidents, make sure water and food bowls are in good shape and provide whatever service the Pet Parent has requested. About: I grew up just north of Birmingham in a rural town. We always had animal companions of some kind. I’m partial to cats, but I would make friends with most 4 legged animals if they let me! I’m currently a flight attendant and my husband and I have SIX cats of our own. Three are from a litter we took in a year ago intending to foster them until they found homes, but we soon realized they were already home. As a flight attendant, my schedule is sometimes up in the air. I always know my full month flying schedule on the 19th of the previous month. I’m typically available 3 days a week. We have six cats who own our home! Three males and three females. All are spayed and neutered. I’m completely comfortable scooping litter and cleaning up after dogs outside!

Currently I am a college student and I work at barktown part time when school is in and full time when school is out. So I do maintain a busy schedule, but always have time to stop in and love on your sweet fur babies! I have been around pets with a wide range of temperament. This means I know how to enter and exit your home safely if you have a fur baby who likes to run, I wake up daily at 6am to give my babies their breakfast and they get their dinner at 8pm. This also sets me up to be able to adapt to your feeding schedule for your babies. I also adore getting to know the anxious babies. Taking my time and letting them warm up to me is something I pride myself on. Theres something so rewarding about gaining their trust!

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments! Any special requests, such as a bath is absolutely no problem for me!! I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to give special attention, I will also be sure to keep me schedule updated! I would love to complete any special requests or just give them some extra hugs! Of course until they know me, I allow them to get comfortable around me before making any big moves!

About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. Pet care at a clients home will always be carried out with honor and reverence towards the clients, their home and their pets. I was a boyscout growing up and my loving parents taught me well to respect people and animals so when I leave a home I will leave it in the same condition or better than when I arrived. Your pet will get my undivided attention and care as I will treat them like I would my own, with love and respect.

About: I have had multiple dogs/cats all my life and I just love almost all animals I love puppy’s but I sure we all do right I have nothing to do my boyfriend works all the time now and I can’t seem to find a job at all so right now I’m free just about all the time I’m not allowed to have pet with my sisters family so all my pets besides 2 are with my mom in NY my grandma got rid of my cat i hangout with my friends and cuddle thier animals all day long

About: I come from a home who owed/bred dogs. I’ve always had a pet. I’ve dealt with puppies, kittens, raccoons, birds, iguanas, and fish. I do crate train as that’s what we do with our own puppies. We provide a safe home for your fur babies, with lots of love and play. I already care for my one fur baby. We have a routine we like to follow, it helps with the pets and children in the home. I have a fenced in yard and generally crate train in my home. We have a routine for walks, feeding, and playtime.... lots of playtime.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs most of my life! I currently own two giant babies (German Shepard) and can handle everything in between! Some days or weeks, your best friend just needs some extra love and attention. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for animals of various sizes and personalities! About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards most of my life! I grew up with all shapes and sizes of dogs bathing, feeding, scheduling, and loving them. I dog sit a handsome 11 year old mix breed and have never found an animal I didn’t want to befriend. I am currently looking to make my own schedule as normal jobs won’t fit my upcoming October school schedule. As I excel in pet care for you I will be able to cater more to my 9-4 (workable) school hours. I currently live at home both houses with a fenced in yard and parks near. Bringing pets into my home must be a special request as I have other animals aswell!!

About: I have 2 100 pound dogs, a cat, and 3 kids so I’m used to chaos. Love all animals and can handle big pups or non people lover cats. Stay at home mom so I’m available for let out and walks everyday and almost anytime of the day. I just have to be at school drop off and pickup. I can follow your directions for dogs or cats. I can let them out to potty or take them for walks. As long as they are kid friendly I can be there anytime or day!
