About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds from a very young age. All sizes and breeds of dogs and cats as well as numerous livestock. Including horses, goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, chickens, ducks, and numerous reptiles. Ample experience with senior and special needs pets as well. Happy to discuss any and all pet care needs! I have a very flexible daily work schedule and can easily accommodate your specific needs. I'm happy to take on clients last minute, schedule permitting. About: I’ve loved dogs since I saw my first one. Caring for animals is one of my favorite things to do. I want to make sure they are so comfortable, it’s like you never left. My partner Rebecca is, naturally, every animal’s best friend. She brings a calming vibe to the space that is hard to achieve for everybody. I am 18 years old and a full time high school student meaning I will be available any time from Friday night - Sunday evening. We have a very carefully crafted schedule for all of our pets at home. About: I’ve had pets my whole life, including dogs, cats and fish. Since they’ve always brought me such joy, and I wanted extra income that could be flexible, I decided to start walking and caring for dogs and cats about 10 years ago. During these years I’ve learned a lot about training, administering meds and dealing with pets that take their time warming up to strangers. My love of animals later lead me to get trainer certified at Petco, and later trained my first service dog for a veteran. From puppy's to older ones, dog for me are no problem.
