About: I have been taking care of dogs since 2008 when my neighbors moved in and allowed me to meet their new puppy. As he grew up I was included in a lot of his daily routine from feeding breakfast and dinner, to taking walks after school/work, and cleaning up the yard as he used the restroom, helping him recoup after getting all his puppy shots, adult shots, and neutered. They also included me in his training of basic obedience and allowed me to work with him and cuddle with anytime they were free and I shot them a text to see if I could come over. They then got a second dog and I was older at that time and so my involvement far more this time as I was older and already had an understanding of what was expected. I helped with potty training both dogs, their general obedience, walking them and cleaning the yard as they used the potty. I also was their caretaker when my neighbors went on vacation or had to work later at the office. Everyday after school like clockwork I’d head over let the boys out, make them an enrichment snack if they’d finished the one the got before the owners left, work on some obedience and walk them if necessary and play with them and cuddle them until mom and dad came home. I took care of these dogs from 2008-2017 when they moved away! Then my new neighbors also decided to add some canine companions when they had settled in. I was asked by them if I’d work on basic obedience with their female dog. Which could’ve not been more perfect timing as I was working towards getting my certification to be a dog trainer! So they allowed me to use her to get my certification and we worked together and learned a lot of basic obedience cues, as well as relaxation protocols for dogs that may be anxious or a little scared in new environments. She helped teach me to read dog body language and use that knowledge communicate effectively with dogs when asking them for any type of cue. So now I am a certified positive method trainer, I have experience in potty training as well. I have experience in giving oral medications and feeding complex diets for dogs who have allergies. Hello pet parents! I currently work part time as a result I have quite a bit of open time to take care of and spend with your furry family members! Please message me with any questions regarding availability as even if I have the day marked off as “unavailable” I have will have some limited availability prior to and post work days to take care of your furry family members! Whether it’s for a walk once a day/week, walks for multiple times a week/day or a drop in for a little bit of cuddles and for play time I would be so honored to spend time and play with your pet and give them enrichment and cuddles they deserve! In my home my cats are absolutely spoiled. Multiple cats trees. Big Victorian screened in windows. At least 20 or more cats toys. Most of the toys are big on engaging the mind and recreating instincts they would use in the wild as well as creating mental stimulation. The toys are also tailored to each cat but we all know cats do as they please so I’ve learned to buy multiples of the toys that all the cats seem to love! Following the rules of litter pans and filing them with proper litter and cleaning them in a timely manner! I also provide top quality food with correct feeding proportions and I do give them treats in a controlled way as well!

About: Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! I have over 10+ years of experience in working with both cats and dogs. I had my golden retriever Jake, for 15 years, and I currently have a cat named Lulu who is 9 years old. I have previous experience in working with both cats and dogs who have required care. This included checking in on them as well as feeding, walking and playing with them. I really love animals and love that every pet has their own unique personality. I know that animals always bring a smile to my face, and it is my goal that I can return the favor and make them happy as well. I would love to have the opportunity to care for your fur baby!

About: I have 5 years of pet care experience and truly enjoy spending time with dogs. I have cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, including walking, feeding, playing, giving fresh water, cleaning up after them, and keeping them comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, gentle, and responsible, and I always try to follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully. I understand that every dog has its own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take time to make pets feel safe and cared for. Pet care fits well into my daily routine because I am usually home and able to give pets regular attention throughout the day. I can help with feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I try to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I have a fenced-in house with 4 bedrooms, so I can safely keep pets separated when needed. This is helpful for pets who need quiet space, slow introductions, or extra comfort. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I keep the home clean, safe, and calm, and I make sure pets are supervised and comfortable during their stay.

Debbie was a kind and considerate companion to our fearful little dog. Our dog is scared of new people and over the course of just few visits, our dog warmed up to Debbie. Debbie respected Bear’s boundaries and earn her trust in no time. We can’t thank you enough, Debbie!!!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind for years. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to feed, play, clean, and take care of their pets while away from home. With my experience and passion for animals, I would take care of your animals as I would my own. I currently work full-time, but have plenty of available time in the mornings and after work. My weekdays have plenty of time available for check-ins and walks. The safety of your pet is my number one priority. For dogs, I tend to avoid other dogs on walks unless you point out to me any dogs you know that it's ok for your dog to greet and interact with. I would rather your dog be safe than hurt. For cats, I make sure they are always kept inside (unless instructed otherwise with a catio or other) and are away from harms way.

About: I have my own cat Anya and she is one of the most important things to me. I’ve always had a special connection with animals. Since I was young, I could always connect with other people’s pets, many times they would say wow he/she never let’s anyone do that etc. I often feel that I connect better with animals than with people.” I work at a kennel in auburn ny from 8am to 10am in the morning and evening from 4-5:30 but before and after that I try to fill in my time as much as possible seeing and taking care of as many animals as possible I have my own cat Anya but as far as taking care of your animals it would have to be at your place of residence. I offer walking, sitting, overnights, feeding etc. I don’t board any more pets at my residence.

About: I started pet sitting as soon as I was old enough to stay home alone for friends, family, and neighbors. Throughout the years, I acquired lots of different clients through word of mouth. I have experience watching a variety of types of pets and at home I have three loving cats. I also have experience giving pets medication. Most importantly, I have a passion for all animals and I can assure your pet would be in the best possible care with me. I work in the tasting room at a Cidery in Ithaca. During the winter, I only work a few days a week so my availability is more freed up. At the moment, I would need to watch your pet at your house. My current apartment has a strict pet policy and I am only allowed my cats. I am open to sleeping over, just staying for the day, or popping in at scheduled times. When I am staying at a client’s home, I have the utmost respect and make sure to keep the line of communication open.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.

About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I've taken care of an array of animals since I was a kid from hamsters to dogs to little frogs! I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. I am flexible so just let me know of anything and I can adapt!

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
