About: I grew up raising dogs, both taking care of the family pets as well as raising puppies for my grandmother repeatedly. I also have a little experience in dog training I have open availability for all of my services for the foreseeable future. Your pet will be one of my highest priorities and I can't wait to meet all of them :)8 In a clients home I am respectful of the space that’s there. I find it easier to deal with pets in an environment that is familiar to them as they seem more at ease that way. I do my best to follow any routine an animal has to keep the animal calm and to make sure they receive proper care

I love walking and playing with animals or just cuddling and being that companion they need when parents are away! I have felt with animals with sensitive skin and diets I can also handle medication and dogs who just don’t like meeting new people. I know how important it is to trust a new person with your fur baby and I want to help ease the anxiety while you trust me with you pets. I was recently working for a groomer and she came Ill so I decided to offer my services a little closer to home. I am inspired but the difference needs and desires of a pet and I love a challenge of gaining there patients and trust I have a smaller fenced in area in my yard for animals who just like to be outside I also have several different types of leashes if dogs want to walk and just get the energy out. I have cages if dogs need to be confined when eating or napping or just in general I also have puppy pads and cleaner for any animals who has accidents or just needs the extra support
About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.
About: Things we believe: -Dog birthday parties on the beach are the best birthday parties -Shoe laces are just built-in toys for foster kittens -There's no such thing as a lackluster dog nose. They're all adorable. Always. -Sometimes your cats need a break from their very stressful cat lives and should spend a cold winter morning watching cat TV while curled up in load of towels still warm from the dryer (that you actually wanted to fold, but whatever) -There's always room on your lap for one more furry family member I bring over 20 years of experience caring for other people's pets like they were my own, starting with my early work in a vet office during high school and college. Since then, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — dogs, cats, birds, Guinea pigs, lizards, and other small companions — and have also fostered extensively for my local animal shelter and I loved every minute of it. My foster work has included animals in hospice; seniors; dogs going through heartworm treatment; those with serious behavior issues; advanced starvation cases; kidney disease; and pets with other complex medical needs, so I am very comfortable following detailed treatment plans, giving medications, and monitoring changes in behavior or health. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially when your furry family needs extra care. However complex the case, I always look for ways to make your pet happy in addition to healthy, whether that be an extra slow walk with lots of sniffing, an enrichment toy with diet-approved snacks, or just some quiet time on the couch together. Most importantly, I know what I don’t know. Every pet is an individual with their own history and needs, and I never assume my past experience automatically applies to your furry family member. If I ever have a question or concern, I reach out immediately, and in a genuine emergency, I won’t hesitate to contact your veterinarian. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I can work around your and your furry family's established schedule. When staying at your home, I can be with your pet most of the day. This means they get lots of attention and snuggles (if, and only if, they like snuggles!), and I can watch for shifts in their behavior, appetite, or energy levels and let you know right away. I only provide care in your home, which allows your furry family to stay in their normal environment and maintain their regular routine. I’ve found this keeps stress low and helps pets feel safe while you’re away. When I’m staying overnight, I treat your home and your furry family’s routine with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime instructions exactly as given.
“We needed help with our pup last minute and Misty was quick to respond and willing to work with our schedule. During the meet and greet I could tell she was very comfortable with animals as well as knowledgable. Overall Misty was amazing to work with and I felt at ease knowing our fur baby was in good hands.”

About: I am a true animal lover who loves caring for your special family member(s) as if they are my own. I love to play with, walk, groom, and spend time with pets and provide a warm, loving, and safe environment. I also know how hard it is to leave your babies with strangers and take special care to send you pictures and videos while you're apart. Let me know what your baby needs and I'll make sure they have the best time possible while you're away. Please note that I do have two very friendly and playful Boston Terriers in the home but if your pet prefers its own space, I have a huge house and a private room dedicated to your pet if they need it. I work out of my home, which is a enormous space with a large fenced back yard. I also love walking dogs several times a day and will be able to provide 24/7 care for your pet in my home. I have a large fenced yard, two separate rooms just for pets (should they need to be alone), and a large vehicle for transport. I also have a large kennel set up in case your pet responds best to being kenneled at time. I don't leave my dogs unattended outside.

I am available for early morning walks or visits, play dates, park trips. Available to continue pursuing my goals. I have four years of military experience and a keen eye for my surroundings, knowing the city and surrounding areas well, a safe and efficient walk/visit/play time is always promised.
About: I have grown up around dogs all my life! I even have my own fur baby, Maverick! I have experience with giving oral medication, potty training, and giving your pup the exercise and play time they want and need! I am a local teacher- so I have flexibility with my schedule during early mornings, lunchtime, or evenings! My current work also allows me to be available on breaks and holidays! For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Flatville after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
