About: I do not currently have a pet, but I have been fortunate to have had and loved two amazing dogs in my lifetime. Each was an only pet at the time. Each lived to about the age of 16 and both were re-homes. Both dogs traveled with me and moved numerous times with me. I have worked with, and networked in animal rescue and have worked extensively with marine animals, as well. I have some knowledge of training techniques and added to the repertoire of behaviors of each of my pets. I do not drink or smoke and live in a smoke-free home. Since I am retired, I have a great deal of free time. My schedule is my own. While I don't currently have a pet, I miss the companionship of having one, so would love to companion your pet. I adore doting on all types of animals. Animals must be up to date on shots, vaccinations, etc. I'm pretty good at reading the needs of a pet. If they want to cuddle, I'm GREAT at cuddling. If they want to be left alone, I can do that. I'm a very cautious, dependable and trustworthy person. I take and follow orders well....smile. I adore animals of all kinds and love watching and/or being around them.

About: I moved back to Florida in 2016 from my home state of California to be close to my grandson. I was pet sitting there full time for 9 years. I received most of my clientail ;) from the place I was working at, Rancho Coastal Humane Society's 'Day Care for Dogs'. The job included 4 of us driving 4 vans all around town to pick up about 10 dogs each and take them to the 'Day Care' where we would play and care for them all day, then clean them up if needed and take them back. When they sold the business (and changed the name to Kamp Kanine) some of the clients wanted their fur babies to go with someone they already knew and trusted (me). Before that I've always pet sat for friends and family and as a teenager would pet sit instead of babysit. I had a dog from age 5 to 16, my best friend, Poochie. Because of that it's always been 2nd nature to be around dogs. I also had a cat, Beemer, and a horse, Chompa, (I didn’t name any of them). Later, as an adult, I had a few cockatiels, and a few more cats Mufasa and Bigira (I named them) We always went to my father's best friend's ranch on holidays where there was all kinds of animals to care for (horses, cattle, chickens, cats, & dogs) This is what I do for a living, because I love animals. If you want pet sitting at your house I would also bring in your mail, water your plants, take out the trash and more if needed. I own a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have a ramp for those that can't jump and I can't pick up, in case we need to go anywhere (the vet). Although Rover displays prices, final prices can be negotiated and modified by you and I, depending on the job, your needs, distance, etc. (Rover keeps 20% on my side btw). I am a full time pet sitter. This is all I have done for a living since 2008. Your pet will have my undivided attention, unless I have another pet already scheduled for visits. If I do I will let you know at our first contact up front and you can think about it if you're not sure about me leaving. Maybe do a meet and greet to see where they would stay if I need to leave them. And I wouldn't take any more drop in requests if I have your pet at my home. I don't have any animals of my own anymore, so I take care of others in need. I stick to your rules at home and the way you care for your animals.

“Holly has been awesome. We found her last minute after a friend fell through for watching our two dogs. Holly was able to come meet us+them within the hour and our boys LOVED her. We also had a flight get cancelled and reached out to Holly to check in on them for an extra, unplanned day. She quickly and happily accepted. This was our first time using Rover and were a bit weary but Holly completely put our minds at ease and as long as she’s available she’s the only person we plan to go to in the future. Can’t say enough great things about her, she’s capable, experienced, incredibly pleasant and easy going, and most importantly reliable and great with our spoiled dogs!”

“I highly recommend Erin for your pet’s care. From the moment I inquired about services for my cat, she was responsive, professional and detailed oriented to specific requests/accommodations. She took great care of my cat and sent me plenty of pictures. Would definitely hire her again.”

“Kimberly is a great kitty caregiver. She has a natural talent and provides updates from visits that are enjoyable along with being informative. I will definitely reach out for her caregiving again. It is a pleasure to have her in my home.”

Ginny C.
“Virginia (Ginny) cared and took such wonderful care of my older white pitbull gal Millie. She even had her a nice comfy fluffy pink bed and my girl loved to sleep close to Ginny. Ginny is so patient and loving with my dog and my dog doesn’t always like too many people that weren’t me and she loved Ginny as well and was loved and cared for with Ginny as much as she was at home and she’s a wonderful caretaker for fur babies and treats them as they were her own. I would recommend Ginny to care for anyone’s fur babies as she takes wonderful care of them and spoils them as well.”

Catherine H.

“Cathy Hart has a heart of gold when it comes to animals. She is caring and interactive with your pets. I would highly recommend her for pet-sitting as she will always keep your pets interest number one!”

Brianna M.
“I’ve entrusted Bri with my 130-pound Great Dane, Rem, several times while traveling for business, and I can’t speak highly enough about the care she provides. From our very first interaction, it was clear that Bri is not only professional and reliable, but also genuinely passionate about animals. Rem can be a bit apprehensive with new people, but Bri was incredibly patient and intentional in building a bond with him before I even left. She took the time to learn his routine, preferences, and any specific needs, ensuring she had a full understanding of how to care for him. It was obvious she truly wanted to get everything right. While I was away, Bri kept me updated daily with photos and videos of Rem on his walks and playtime, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Seeing him so relaxed, happy, and well cared for made all the difference. What impressed me most was Bri’s flexibility and attention to detail. She followed Rem’s feeding and medication schedule precisely, gave him his favorite treats, and even extended his walks and play sessions to make sure he was getting plenty of exercise and engagement. When I returned home, Rem was calm, content, and clearly well looked after—exactly how I’d want him to be after being away. It’s clear that he was not just watched, but genuinely cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend Bri to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and truly caring pet sitter. She’s the best! Rhaea Baity”
