About: I do not currently have a pet, but I have been fortunate to have had and loved two amazing dogs in my lifetime. Each was an only pet at the time. Each lived to about the age of 16 and both were re-homes. Both dogs traveled with me and moved numerous times with me. I have worked with, and networked in animal rescue and have worked extensively with marine animals, as well. I have some knowledge of training techniques and added to the repertoire of behaviors of each of my pets. I do not drink or smoke and live in a smoke-free home. Since I am retired, I have a great deal of free time. My schedule is my own. While I don't currently have a pet, I miss the companionship of having one, so would love to companion your pet. I adore doting on all types of animals. Animals must be up to date on shots, vaccinations, etc. I'm pretty good at reading the needs of a pet. If they want to cuddle, I'm GREAT at cuddling. If they want to be left alone, I can do that. I'm a very cautious, dependable and trustworthy person. I take and follow orders well....smile. I adore animals of all kinds and love watching and/or being around them.

About: I moved back to Florida in 2016 from my home state of California to be close to my grandson. I was pet sitting there full time for 9 years. I received most of my clientail ;) from the place I was working at, Rancho Coastal Humane Society's 'Day Care for Dogs'. The job included 4 of us driving 4 vans all around town to pick up about 10 dogs each and take them to the 'Day Care' where we would play and care for them all day, then clean them up if needed and take them back. When they sold the business (and changed the name to Kamp Kanine) some of the clients wanted their fur babies to go with someone they already knew and trusted (me). Before that I've always pet sat for friends and family and as a teenager would pet sit instead of babysit. I had a dog from age 5 to 16, my best friend, Poochie. Because of that it's always been 2nd nature to be around dogs. I also had a cat, Beemer, and a horse, Chompa, (I didn’t name any of them). Later, as an adult, I had a few cockatiels, and a few more cats Mufasa and Bigira (I named them) We always went to my father's best friend's ranch on holidays where there was all kinds of animals to care for (horses, cattle, chickens, cats, & dogs) This is what I do for a living, because I love animals. If you want pet sitting at your house I would also bring in your mail, water your plants, take out the trash and more if needed. I own a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have a ramp for those that can't jump and I can't pick up, in case we need to go anywhere (the vet). Although Rover displays prices, final prices can be negotiated and modified by you and I, depending on the job, your needs, distance, etc. (Rover keeps 20% on my side btw). I am a full time pet sitter. This is all I have done for a living since 2008. Your pet will have my undivided attention, unless I have another pet already scheduled for visits. If I do I will let you know at our first contact up front and you can think about it if you're not sure about me leaving. Maybe do a meet and greet to see where they would stay if I need to leave them. And I wouldn't take any more drop in requests if I have your pet at my home. I don't have any animals of my own anymore, so I take care of others in need. I stick to your rules at home and the way you care for your animals.

I have practiced with injections, oral administration, raw diets, & more. Boarding✨: when boarding with me safety is my top priority. If your dog is not completely comfortable with other animals, please continue your search. I have 3 happy, wiggle butts, who love to make new friends! I do not have a fenced in yard, however, I do ensure a minimum of 2 30 minute walks per day. When boarding make sure that if your dog is of age that they are spayed/neutered & updated on vaccines, I have zero leniency on that. Only Bring the amount of food needed for the duration of your trip, Medication & a leash/harness. I will have everything else that they may need ex. Crate, poop bags, treats, toys, etc. please make sure to inform me of your routine as I would like to stick to that as close as possible to make sure that your furry friend is as happy as can be. In my house, your pet is family and included in everything we do, from car rides, walks, beach days, etc. ❌absolutely no howlers, destructive, extreme high energy, Un-neutered/un-spayed dogs, please. ❌ In your home: Rover is my full-time job leaving me more flexibility with how long I can stay, ensuring your pet gets the best care. For longer periods I typically do a complementary clean for clients to leave minimal stress when coming home, and ensuring you get some extra time with your pet after a long stay away. I will follow your routine step-by-step, as given, to ensure less stress while you’re gone for your pet while keeping you informed with pictures and videos. As mentioned before, Rover is my full-time job😊 This means I have more Time to give undivided attention to your furry friends!
