About: I've been the go-to sitter for my family for years because they know how much I love to be around animals. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have two cats who are my whole heart, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to care for you furry family when you are away. I am a freelance artist and am usually doing various creative projects in the Pittsburgh area. Which gives me a very flexible schedule to focus on pet care. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in, or overnight care, I can usually accommodate short notice and regular routines. I'm happy to work with your pets specific schedule to keep things consistent and stress free. I provide most of my care in the client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their own environment and maintain their usual routine. Whether it’s walking, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. In my own home, I can only accommodate small dogs who are cat-friendly, since I have two cats of my own. Their well-being and yours are always my top priority.

“Thanks to Marisa, I can feel at ease when I have to go away because I know my kitties are being very well looked after!! It is so wonderful to have this peace of mind!”

About: I am a 19-year-old college student who has animal caretaking experience and a love for animals. I have pet sat for years with many dogs and cats (along with small animals) and worked as a kennel and daycare attendant at FuzzyPazws Pet Villa for 2 years. I am a wildlife biology major in school because of my lifelong passion for taking care of animals of all kinds. I have administered medications to my own dog, as well as dogs at my place of work. I have in person classes every weekday, however, I am only on campus for 2-3 hours daily and have the remainder of the weekdays and weekends to care for pets! My classes take place in the afternoons, so I am available to stop in or stay over in the mornings and after classes. In my home, I have a dog, cat, 2 frogs, and 2 guinea pigs. I administer medications to my dog, feed and provide water to all of my animals, clean the litter box, frog aquarium, and guinea pig cage, and walk my dog on a schedule. In clients' homes, I do what is asked along with spending quality time with the pets. This could look like cleaning habitats, feeding according to instructions, providing stimulation, activity, and walks, or whatever the pet needs!

About: Hi! My name is Megan! I’m a Pittsburgh born and raised gal who is a HUGE animal lover. Most of my clients have been through word of mouth so Rover is newer to me and I'm just getting back into this business after taking some time off! That being said, alongside caring for my own pets, I have cared for client pets ranging from dogs, cats, and guinea pigs for the last 15 years. Most of my clients have been through word of mouth so this is I have worked in the veterinary field at a few points in time so I am familiar with a range of ages and any specific care needs that may come up such as specific feeding, medications, and even caring for a paralyzed pet that requires diaper changes. I always make sure the pet is comfortable and happy before anything else. I truly enjoy arriving to a home and seeing how excited they get for a visitor. I am responsible and over the top with care and treat them as if they are my own pets! I am just getting back into the business after taking some time off. I work remotely a few days a week and am available on weekends so I can work around that! With the dog walking/drop in visits, I will be making house calls vs having the pets brought to me. I treat the client's home and pets as if they were my own.

About: I have had pets for a majority of my life. I have had cats previously and currently have a chocolate lab and german shepherd that I mainly take care of. I’m a student at Lake Forest College with some jobs on the side. Let me know what you need and I’m willing to work something out! I have a fenced in yard with a dog on a leash, so I understand the importance of keeping an eye while they are outside. I am also capable of crating.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, as I grew up with them since I was little. I have a senior dog right now who I take care of daily, giving medicine, feeding, and taking out regularly. I also have taken care of my neighbors dog, who was also a senior dog and needed extra care since he was blind. Further, I took care of my brother’s puppy when he was away, and that was super fun!! While yes they are a bundle of energy, I love every second of it. I currently am a student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am going on break soon which I would love to take care of some fuzzy friends while I’m relaxing! Further over the summer, I plan to work part time with Rover. I hope to make many memories with cute pets! I check and make sure I know where they are regularly. I take them out regularly, feed them at the times they are fed, for example my dogs at home always ate at 7 am and 5 pm. Making sure they are all healthy and content is very important. I listen to the pets and tend to their needs when they need it. Further, I let them have their personal space when needed, but I am also very willing to play and run around all day!

About: I've spent over twenty years caring for dogs and cats of all temperaments — from energetic pups to quirky seniors. My own adopted fur family has taught me patience, communication, and how to meet each pet where they are. Whether it’s a walk, a brush, or a belly rub, I focus on keeping pets active, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I treat every animal like they’re my own — because that’s what they deserve. Got an odd schedule? I’ve got you! Life gets messy — last-minute trips, half-day errands, or just a few hours away. That’s where I come in. My availability shifts week to week, but that makes me the perfect fit for one-off needs, unusual timeframes, or gaps others can’t cover. If our calendars line up, I’ll gladly stop by for a walk, visit, or check-in. Flexible, caring, and here when you need me most. I keep pets active, safe, and engaged. If there’s a fenced yard and the weather’s right, we’ll enjoy time outside. I’m also happy to take pets to local parks or trails (with your permission, of course). Toys, leashes, and other gear should be provided, but I’m open to arrangements if you need support with supplies. My goal is always to respect your pet’s routine while keeping them happy and secure in familiar or safe surroundings.

“Cassie did an exceptional job of taking care of our two cats! And she played with the one who would come out (the other one hid, but we think in time he will come out:) Cassie talked to him for us and that was good for him and she filled his treat game:) We really are very happy for Cassie to be with Rover and to be our cat sitter!”

About: New to Rover but not to pet care! I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. I currently have a 7 year old pup of my own. I’m happy to stop by and care for your pets while you’re out! I can feed them, refresh their water, give potty breaks, and spend some time playing or cuddling if that’s what you’d want! I can also grab your mail, bring in packages, or water a few plants. Just let me know! You’ll always get updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and safe. I’m a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule so it’s no problem to stop by a time or two while my sons at school - and even in the evening if you’re away for longer periods. About: I’ve watched dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I’ve been a pet owner most of my life. I have watched all ages, sizes, and breeds. Since I’m a freelancer, my schedule is extremely flexible. Here to help! Work with big and small dogs and old and young dogs regularly. Let me know ahead of time if you have any special instructions for your pets. Whether it’s a specific dietary restriction or a medication, it’s important I know what I’m getting into before I accept a gig. Open to staying at people’s houses for extended periods if needed. My schedule is flexible due to my freelancer life. I can set routines with your pets if needed. I’m great at following instructions and will make sure to communicate with you updates. Whatever you need, I got you covered. I’ll visit your home and follow whatever routine you provide me for your fur baby. If dogs are allowed to go on adventures, I like taking them to dog parks or petco for a treat. It’s important to make sure your pet is exercised, fed, and ready to nap so when you come home your pup or kitty will be happy to see you.

About: I have been around dogs since I was a baby. My current dogs have PTSD, meaning I understand how to handle special needs pets. I would love to care for your pets. I have no job, meaning I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. Even though i’m unable to keep them at my own house, I am fully willing to watch them at yours. My own pets don’t particularly enjoy visitors. My two dogs have post traumatic stress disorder. They came from a bad place, and ever since I adopted them, I have been rehabilitating them. Many pets take patience and love to come out of their shells. Years later, my dogs are feeling a lot better, even if they’re still scared of loud noises.

Abbigail S.
“Abbigail has been such a blessing for our 13 year-old rescue pup. She was able to give her her injections and medicine and give her love and care because there’s such a high maintenance for a dog that has so many health issues. Knowing that she was there comforted me and made me feel safe that she was in good hands, taking care of her, feeding her walking her spending time and giving her hugs and kisses and love was so beneficial and helpful to us, made us feel peaceful that she was watching her.”

“I know first hand how much Gianna loves and cares for animals! She knows the importance of learning about each individual pet bc they are all different. “Kaleigh was hired to help assist with handling my two large Golden Retrievers during my engagement photoshoot with my fiancé, and she did an amazing job! Such a relief having her there. She walked them around the park, played with them, and kept them occupied when they were not needed in the photos, and I am super thankful that she was there to relieve the stress off of us. She knew just how to keep them calm and well paid attention to. My dogs loved her and we would use her again to babysit them if needed!”
