About: My years of experience is for professional experience. Years personal experience is well over 20. I’ve had pets all my life growing up from exotics to cats and dogs. Professionally I’ve been a pet groomer (can do small animals, dogs and cats) and a shift manager at a pet store where I was a pet specialist, dog groomer, and pet nutritionalist. About: I have been taking care of animals most of my life. I started dog sitting/walking when I was 14. Many people have relied on me to care for their animals. I am gentle and loving, but I am strong enough to not allow dogs to drag me down the road. I am currently unemployed, and I am not starting school until the fall. First off, I am a full time student at Ohio Northern University where I was formally apart of the Polar Paws program as a Secondary Trainer. Due to school work and graduation plans, I am no longer a member, but all the skills I’ve acquired remain strong! This program allows college students to care for and train future service dogs. As a secondary trainer, I would work with various dogs on campus by training and sitting them while their primary caretaker is busy. Prior to university, I volunteered at the Van Wert County Humane Society where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and all breeds. This consisted of walking the dogs, cleaning cages, cleaning litter boxes, playing with the animals, etc. Currently I am available anytime during the day and anytime of the week, until I update my availability when I need to go back to campus. I care for pets as if they are children. They need attention, respect, and when being babysat, a good time! That being said, in my own home they have access to their own food, water, play area, and have set potty breaks. In a clients home, the same will apply. Any alternative toys, medications, and food can be used most definitely if requested by client. Always a clean and tidy environment before and after.
