Personalized care for your dog or cat - Findlay

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Findlay
“We had a family medical appointment that was out of town. Our usual sitter was out of town and our back up was full. Breanne responded quickly to my questions and was able to watch my boys. The home had a fenced yard where they could run around and the boys had 2 dogs to play with. When we picked them up, both boys were exhausted to the point they slept for the rest of the day. On top of that, I didn’t realize I booked an extra day. She made sure to contact rover and adjust the reservation so that I would not get charged another night. Thank you for making a very stressful situation better. But on top of that she sent pics of the boys, so I knew they were in good hands!”

“Jennifer was awesome. Provided updates and pics each day. This was the longest stay the dogs had, almost 2 weeks and they both looked happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend her!!”

“It was our first time leaving our pup since we’ve had her. We need a last minute sitter and Oren took her in and did so good with her. We were given so many updates and pictures any time we asked. She even was taken to a dog park to run and play. We will definitely be booking him for our next vacation.”

“Novalee/Brooke G. is a fantastic pet sitter! Our dog stayed with her for a week while I was out of town and he had the BEST TIME at her house! He spent his days romping with her adorable pups, playing inside and outside and sniffing all the smells on their neighborhood walks. Novalee also took him on excursions to various pet-friendly stores and family get togethers - which meant he rarely spent anytime alone. Her level of care is unmatched and we know that anytime our dog is with her, he is loved just like her own. I cannot recommend Novalee more highly!”

“Melissa is really good. Pixie loved her stay her with Melissa. I think Pixie was a little sad leaving her😅 Melissa was amazing with letting us know Pixie was doing and she took great care of her. We used to get pictures regularly.”

“Erin was amazing! She took such great care of Gus and for a long time! (9 nights) Gus had so much fun and she sent us updates multiple times a day. I had peace of mind the entire time and was never worried about my boy. We will absolutely be going back to Erin!”

“Fantastic service! Very accommodating to my travel schedule with pick-up & drop-off. Great communication in very timely way including daily updates. Very knowledgeable of dogs, and how she introduced my dog to her two. Even allowed me to meet her pups. I’m in process of booking again, and very grateful for Lisa and her thorough care of Winston!”

About: I have been around dogs and cats for most of my life. In college, I worked at a boarding and training service for dogs. I currently have three of my own, and love being a dog mom. I treat my dogs like they are my children, and I enjoy being around animals all the time! I am a teacher, so during the summer months I have a lot of availability. I am looking to help out those who are busy or work during the summer. I can drop in to let out your pet and play with them for 10-15 minutes. For walking services, I will spend 30 minutes walking, and then play for 10-15 minutes. I have a spacious home and yard, but it is not fenced in. I always go outside with the pets and supervise them. We live in a safe neighborhood. My dogs are friendly and well-socialized; they enjoy being around other animals.
“We had a great experience— super communicative and flexible, with lots of photos and check-in’s so that I knew that everything was going ok. I appreciate the effort that went into helping my Eddie feel comfortable and confident in the new space!”

“Very pleased with Haleigh. When I wasn’t able to take my dogs to her for the initial meet and greet, she instead came to my house and brought her rescue pup to make sure our dogs were compatible. She monitored all dogs’ social behavior for over an hour just for good measure. She was very quick to correct any concerning behavior. I appreciated that she was able to take my pups on short notice when the previous sitter canceled on me last minute. During the visit itself, she sent me pictures and commentaries to update me on their wellbeing, or to inform me of any concerns. I trusted that she knew how to keep her dogs and my dogs safe. They were kept indoors nearly all times. I’d recommend her services.”

About: Ever since I was a little girl I knew working with animals was what I wanted to do. I started with family members pets, then moved on to friends and friends of friends now I have lots of experience. I grew up on a farm, raising farm animals, participating in 4h, and racing horses. I’ve owned almost every small pet you could have while growing up. I take my care with animals extremely serious and I take pride in the exceptional care I can proved for animals. Pets have a huge soft spot in my heart and there is nothing more I’d rather do in life. I have experience with reptiles as well as administering medications. I have lots of reviews and references and a page on Facebook called “Happy Paws” you can feel free to check out as well! I’m a full time pet sitter, therefore I have open availability. I work a lot of odd hours so early mornings or late nights doesn’t bother me! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly fur baby to keep your pets company. I don’t do crates unless requested by the owner. I’m home with your pet 24/7 so no need to worry about that. I have lots of toys and treats and I always separate during feeding time. I have a separate area your pet can be alone if they are nervous and need a calm environment!
About: I have been around schnauzers, and countless other breeds and animals, my entire life. I've raised, cared for, and helped care for one large dog, 5 miniature schnauzers, a cat, a bearded dragon, fish. My first dog was mine at birth. My first attempt to care for an animal was a baby rabbit in the 10th grade, 20 years ago. Sadly, that did not end well. I have helped raise 2 cousins, 3 nephews, 1 niece, and one I consider a niece. I helped care for my grandpa for 6 months in 2011, when he got dementia, and my other grandma, from 2019-2021, also with dementia. I house sat a cat for a week a few years ago. I am allergic to unclean cats, possibly longhair dogs and cats. I've owned 3 dogs, some fish, and recently brought my niece's bearded dragon back to health. I just love animals so much, and would do everything in my power to keep them healthy, safe, and happy. I have an open schedule to be able to do whatever is needed of me, with just other self employment things I can easily schedule around petcare needs. I have an open yard, with a chain, leashes, a food dish, and a lot of dog toys. I do prefer walks, or outside bonding time while on the chain. Treats after coming in are a necessity.
“We could tell that Stella enjoyed her time with Betsy & Gordon and their children. We were very selective in our selected sitters leading up to our European vacation. This was our first out of the country vacation away from Stella. Betsy and Gordon provided us with great communication leading up to the booking, and great communication throughout. Easing my fur momma worries. We hope that Stella will visit again soon!”

“Knowing your pets are well cared for and your home is looked after gives us a much better vacation get away. Thank you again Autumn, you make our vacations better. We really enjoy the pictures of you playing with our cat.”

“Emma took great care of our cats the whole week we were gone. She communicated and sent pictures with every visit. Even my nervous kitty came out for her. She did a great job”

“Brenna did an amazing job and service to me checking in on my Mini Goldendoodle Ben! She took lots of pictures for me and made sure he was well taken care of. Would definitely love to book with her again!”

About: My family dog found my first cat while we were out on a walk. He was a little guy that still needed bottle-fed and I fell in love with cats from that point on. He was my heart cat and was with me through many ups and downs in my life and the birth of my son. The cats that have come into my life have all been strays, with two being born in our bathroom six years ago! I currently have 3 cats and one has had medications for urinary issues so I can administer meds. I also understand the importance of making sure litter boxes are clean so cats want to use that space instead of any other.

“Kelly was awesome! She put my mind at ease with her organisation and calming nature, and Boba our cat seemed to love Kelly’s visits. Our quail are also doing great after Kelly, and she made sure to send picture of both Boba and the quail everyday, which made going home for the holidays stress-free. I will definitely be re-booking with Kelly in the future!”

About: I’ve spent the past eight years caring for cats of all personalities, from shy rescues to playful kittens and seniors needing extra patience and I’ve learned how important it is to understand each cat’s unique routine and comfort level so they feel safe while you’re away. What sets me apart is my attention and genuine care; I don’t just stop in to feed and leave, I spend time making sure your cat feels comfortable, whether that’s through play, quiet companionship, or sticking closely to their normal routine, treating every cat like my own so you can have peace of mind.

About: I’ve always had a special place in my heart for cats! I have a cat of my own who I’ve had for 7 years, so I understand how much our feline friends become part of the family. I’m comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities, from playful and energetic to shy, independent, or extra cuddly. I’ll make sure your cat gets plenty of love, attention, fresh food and water, playtime, and a clean, comfortable environment. My goal is to help your cat feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Hi! I'm Novalee (legal name Brooke), and if your dog loves having friends, being outside, playing until they're tired and then crashing on the couch at the end of the day, they'll probably fit right in here. I work from home, so your dog gets plenty of company, attention and time to play throughout the day. What a day here looks like: When the weather is nice, you'll usually find us outside. I often bring my work into the backyard while the dogs run, play fetch, chase their friends or stretch out in the shade. Our approximately 50' × 60' backyard is fully enclosed by a 5' fence with plenty of shade and room to run, and outdoor time is always supervised. On hotter days, we rotate between outdoor play and cooling down inside. Rainy days mean finding breaks in the weather to get outside, followed by muddy-paw cleanups, indoor play and couch time. By evening, it's usually dogs sprawled across the couch and dog beds, completely tuckered out while we all wind down together. Their routine comes with them: I want your dog's stay to feel as familiar as possible, so I follow their normal feeding schedule, medications, supplements, sleeping preferences and home routines. Owners provide their dog's regular food and treats so there are no unexpected diet changes during their stay. If they're used to a kennel, we'll continue that. If they're a couch sleeper, the couch is fair game. If they normally sleep near their people, their bed can go beside mine. Beds, blankets, toys and other comfort items from home are always encouraged. You'll get updates: I know how hard it can be to leave your animals behind, so I send photos and videos frequently. You'll get to see your dog playing with friends, hanging out with me, napping or completely crashed after a full day of fun. Safety & good fits: Every new boarding client starts with a meet & greet so we can make sure your dog is comfortable with my home, pets and environment before their first stay. Dogs are always supervised outside, meals are fed separately and supervised, and I have indoor and outdoor cameras, gates and separate spaces available when someone needs a break from the group. Because this is a social, multi-pet home, boarding dogs need to safely coexist with other dogs and cats. Shy dogs, seniors, puppies and high-energy dogs are all welcome as long as our home is a good fit for their individual needs. Well-behaved leash walkers can also enjoy walks around our village upon request. A little about me: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and pet care is now part of my everyday life too. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, daycare and boarding, along with having experience volunteering with rescues. I'm comfortable with everything from playful puppies and high-energy dogs to seniors who would rather spend the afternoon napping. I also have experience with fearful dogs, mild separation and storm anxiety, oral medications, supplements and insulin injections. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel like part of our household while they're here. We play hard during the day, slow down together at night and keep the routines that help them feel at home. I woke from home and have open availability and can spend all day and night with your pups. Send me a booking request to schedule a meet and greet. *I can kennel for the safety of your pets if needed during times I'm away from home on short trips. *I can carry over rules you have in place at your home to mine. Examples: Sleeping in kennel, not jumping on furniture, etc. *I'm vet trained in administering oral, topical, and vaccinations when needed. Example: Diabetic Insulin Shots. *If your pet has storm anxiety, we will camp out in the bathroom with soothing music until the storm passes. *I will not leave dogs unsupervised while playing outside, or with other pets.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for years! Being from a small town, lots of friends and neighbors have trusted me to look after their dogs and cats while away on vacations. On top of this, I currently work as a full time nanny, which has taught me so many things such as reliability and responsibility- characteristics that directly translate to pet care. I am available for pet care on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the early mornings (before 10:00 a.m.) and again after 6:00 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am available after 3:00 p.m. I also have open availability all day on weekends, which allows me to provide flexible care for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and other pet care needs. For the most part I can be pretty flexible, so don’t hesitate to message me with specifics. When caring for a pet in a clients home, I feel it is most important to treat their home with respect and prioritize pet happiness!!
About: I have been taking care of animals most of my life. I started dog sitting/walking when I was 14. Many people have relied on me to care for their animals. I am gentle and loving, but I am strong enough to not allow dogs to drag me down the road. I am currently unemployed, and I am not starting school until the fall. This has given me a lot of free time, so I thought this would be a fun way to get some exercise and make some money on the side. As well as dog-sitting, I started babysitting at 14. I learned a lot of patience because of that. So when I care for my dog, or others, I treat that animal with as much patience and love as I would a child.

About: Growing up I’ve always had cats whether that be barn cats, house cats, stray cats, etc. I think cats deserve all the love in the world and I’d love to be the one to provide that to them. Growing up I wanted to help any animal I saw, especially cats. I have experience with everything that comes with a cat and I’m a cat mom to three at home!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Findlay

“Jenn watched my puppy for the first time today and did a fantastic job! He has a somewhat complicated medical condition - she read about it before we met and handled it wonderfully. He was so happy (and tired) afterwards, and he loved playing with the other dogs in the house. Would definitely recommend!”

“Novalee (aka: Brooke G.) is an amazing dog sitter and we cannot recommend her more! On the days our dog was scheduled to be with her, we needed early drop offs and flexible pickup times - both of which she easily accommodated. Our senior dog had the absolute BEST time hanging out with Novalee and her husband and their puppy crew (he slept like a baby after coming home because he had so much fun playing!) We absolutely 100% recommend Novalee and will definitely utilize her in the future when we need to go out of town!”

About: Hi! I grew up on a hobby farm of sorts - chickens, goats, calves, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and even the occasional injured wild bird or rabbit. I have since moved around, explored the country, and landed here in Henry County. During my trvels, I voluntered at many shelters as well as adopted 5 dogs who have sinced crossed the rainbow bridge. I now have two big squishy pups who love traveling and soaking up rays of sunshine. I work from home during the week and have a few home depot shifts on the weekend. I work from home during the week and home depot on the weekends. We like going for morning and evening walks along with some rolling around in the back yard over lunch. This will depend on the pet and his/her personality. I have many ways of separating animals should it be needed. Or, if wveryone is getting along, we have a nice big back ars for playtime and wrastling.

About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for pets with diverse personalities, health conditions, and behavioral needs. I have helped care for a Husky for nine years, managing health challenges and providing consistent, patient care. I also care for rescued cats and have experience pet sitting cats that require special attention around other animals. I focus on building trust, following routines, and ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. I care for my own cats every day and have experience providing care for both dogs and cats through feeding, playtime, exercise, medication schedules when needed, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate time to walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting while ensuring each pet receives attentive, reliable care and plenty of affection. My goal is to ensure pets receive safe, reliable, and compassionate care while maintaining the environment and routine they are accustomed to. With a spacious house, I easily can keep my two cats away if a pet doesn’t enjoy their presence. Though my cats are lovers of all, I understand if other pets aren’t the same.

About: From since before I can remember, I've always loved animals. As a kid I wanted to a dog in the worst way but we never had the room. When I was 10, our first family dog showed up under the Christmas tree and I was hooked. There have been few times in my life where I haven't had a dog to take care of. I've worked in a vet office, an animal rescue, and have helped take care of dogs for friends and family when they go out of town. I currently work part-time so I have the flexibility to provide your furbaby with the best care. Daily walks and play time are already built into our daily routine and your pup can join in on the fun! I have a very large fenced in yard and live on a dead end road so traffic is minimal around our home. Our two dogs are very friendly and love to have visits from other dog friends. Our home is large enough that a separate space can be created for your pup if they feel overwhelmed or just need some quiet time. A crate can also be utilized if needed.

About: I have had dogs all my life and I have pet sit for many of family members for years. I also worked in a kennel for two summers. I also go to school for pre-vet so I work with animals all the time. I am a college student at the university so mornings are hard with school but afternoons are open. I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after 2pm. I don’t have a pet at the moment so yours would not have to worry. I can easily crate if needed be and we have a huge yard for them to run around.

About: I’ve spent the past eight years caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments from energetic puppies to large, strong dogs and older pets needing a gentler pace and I’m completely comfortable adapting to each one’s needs. Over time, I’ve learned how important consistency, patience, and understanding behavior are, whether that means handling high-energy walks, reinforcing routines, or helping a nervous dog feel at ease. What sets me apart is that I don’t just walk or check in and leave—I take the time to build trust, give them attention, and make sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every dog like my own, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. Pet care and pet sitting fit seamlessly into my schedule, allowing me to be flexible and dependable for both regular visits and last-minute needs. With more availability during the current season and upcoming summer, I’m able to offer consistent care, longer visits, and more time for walks, play, and attention. This flexibility benefits clients by ensuring their pets maintain a stable routine, get extra exercise, and receive reliable, attentive care while they’re away, especially during busy travel months. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pets. I always prioritize safety, follow your instructions closely, and keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and doing well. I’m respectful of your space, dependable, and treat your home and pets with the same care I give my own. When pet sitting, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep things stress-free. This typically includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks or litter box care, playtime or companionship, and any medications if needed. I also do quick check-ins around the home (like making sure everything is secure) and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to keep everything as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away.

About: My name is Ashley, I've loved pets and have had them my whole life. I worked as veterinarian assistant for many years. Pets become family and deserve to be treated like family, I'd be happy to give them that love and attention while you’re away. I have done house sitting and dog walking in the past for clients. It's so rewarding! I also have experience administering medications, giving injections and other medical treatments, as well as caring for special needs pets. I currently work a full time job during the week. My weekly work schedule is from 7am-3pm. I am off on Saturday and Sundays My pets are very spoiled and have many of their own dog beds and of course lots of snacks! I can continue the routine with your pets as they are use to.

About: My years of experience is for professional experience. Years personal experience is well over 20. I’ve had pets all my life growing up from exotics to cats and dogs. Professionally I’ve been a pet groomer (can do small animals, dogs and cats) and a shift manager at a pet store where I was a pet specialist, dog groomer, and pet nutritionalist. I have experience with fish, dogs, cats, pocket pets (hamsters, rats, mice, Guinea pigs, rabbits ect.), reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, arachnids. I have certifications in pet grooming, animal body language, and pet care. Formerly a fear certified pet groomer (not activity grooming anymore but I plan to get that back). Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns you may have. I’m going to school full time all online so when pet sitting I am able to take my course work with me while I take care of your pets. I will follow all instructions, I have slip leads that I will use over the collars so that way if anything happens during walks outside there’ll be extra protection. I will pick up after your dog. Make sure water is available 24/7 and make sure feeding schedules are on time. I can also take care of exotic pets, fish, and I have an amazing green thumb! So even your plants will get the best care.
About: Hey Pet Parents! My name is Juliana and I hold a lot of significant experience in caring for pets! First off, I am a full time student at Ohio Northern University where I was formally apart of the Polar Paws program as a Secondary Trainer. Due to school work and graduation plans, I am no longer a member, but all the skills I’ve acquired remain strong! This program allows college students to care for and train future service dogs. As a secondary trainer, I would work with various dogs on campus by training and sitting them while their primary caretaker is busy. Prior to university, I volunteered at the Van Wert County Humane Society where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and all breeds. This consisted of walking the dogs, cleaning cages, cleaning litter boxes, playing with the animals, etc. Currently I am available anytime during the day and anytime of the week, until I update my availability when I need to go back to campus. I care for pets as if they are children. They need attention, respect, and when being babysat, a good time! That being said, in my own home they have access to their own food, water, play area, and have set potty breaks. In a clients home, the same will apply. Any alternative toys, medications, and food can be used most definitely if requested by client. Always a clean and tidy environment before and after.
About: I am a sitter and walker who is very patient with all dogs, especially energetic ones. I love all animals, and because I am an athlete, I have lots of energy, so if your dog wants to run while we walk and play, I happily will! If they do not, I am always calm as well and will be patient with your dog. I walk my dog Charlie every day, and I also walk my sister's dog, Finn. I am always happy to go outside and get some fresh air. I play with Charlie as much as I can until he’s tired (which is literally never), and I always make sure he’s got plenty of water.
