“Alex is amazing. Always on time, send photos through out his time. He really pays attention to Howie’s habits and likes to help make him comfortable! He was event kind enough to buy him a new ball when Howie knocked them over the fence and I wasn’t able to get to the store to get more.”

“Helen was excellent! We had never used Rover or any dog sitting services before, so we were a bit skeptical at first. Prior to the house sit, Helen came over about 2 weeks in advance to meet us and our pups. We have two larger, higher energy dogs and wanted to make sure she was comfortable taking care of them. During her stay she sent photos and reassured us that things were going great. We have already scheduled with Helen to watch our dogs again next month!”

“We had a great experience with Nathalya! She stayed at our house for a week and left everything clean and tidy, she even took the trash out!! Our 7-year old dog is usually very nervous around new people, but she warmed up quickly and seemed comfortable the entire time. Nathalya kept me updated daily with messages and photos, and always responded within minutes. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our dog was in such good hands! 10/10 would recommend Nathalya!”

“Elmer was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to sit our dog Ghost at our home for a week. He kept us updated daily and sent us lots of pictures and videos. We have a big energetic dog and Elmer made sure to walk him daily (sometimes multiple times a day) and cater to his needs. He even took care of a small wound Ghost had while we were away. We came home to a clean and tidy home and healthy and happy dog. We will definitely be using him again in the future.”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life, and have volunteered at my local animal shelter from ages nine to fifteen. I only left because of school and the need to get a job. I then worked at a grooming and boarding facility for almost three years. Now I work at an animal clinic as a kennel assistant for our boarding pets. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday with on and off again weekends, but have plenty of free time on the days I work a half day. On the days I work doubles however, I’d only have time to stop by somewhere near work as I only get an hour break. Otherwise, I’m free after 1pm or 6pm on certain days, or before I go in at 1pm. That can be discussed in more detail when required. As someone who has worked with many different boarding pets throughout the years I do believe taking care of pets in your own home will add more comfort to them as well as yourself. It’s easier to care for them on a schedule they are familiar with while in a space they know and love. I always treat them as if they are my own because I know I’d wish the same for my fur babies if I ever had someone watch over them.

“Not only was she AMAZING with my boys but she did some leash training Gave them snack took OUTSTANDING pictures and was just so so so kind. She followed my homes rules, she was sweet and my babies were well taken care of. WOULD RECOMMEND FOR ANY PET IN MD!!!!! Would book again no hesitation she’s amazing hands down I felt so confident with her and no NO issues. Love Love Love Thank you again Sophia!! 💕”

“Darrius did a great job with our pups. One is very prickly and needs medicine. He did a great job of making sure she took her medication which is our main concern. He also let our bigger dog take his time outside even when the weather wasn't great. We will definitely use him again.”

“Skyler was great, he was able to step in and watch our boys at the last second when our other sitter fell through. Caring for both a puppy and older dog with health issues at the same time is not an easy task and he did it with ease.”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience at Lonestar Pet Lodges, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities! From energetic puppies to senior dogs with special needs. My time in a professional boarding facility taught me how to spot behavior cues, administer medications, and create a safe, stress-free environment that feels like home. I treat every dog as if they were my own, giving them not just routine care, but real companionship, playtime, and affection. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or drop-in visits, you can trust that your pup is in experienced, loving hands! I’m currently still working part-time at Lonestar Pet Lodges but my schedule is very flexible-as well as weekend availability. I don’t have a set schedule so it changes throughout the month but I will make sure your pet gets the most care and time with me! I have a big dog of my own and I treat her like she’s my child. I always make sure she is surrounded by the people she loves and makes sure she gets all the biscuits and pets! I can guarantee your pet will be loved and taken care of under my watch!

I’ve also had three wonderful cats, so I understand the unique personalities and needs of both pups and kitties. I live in a house with a fully fenced-in yard, offering a safe and secure space for playtime and potty breaks. Your pet will enjoy lots of attention, love, and a comfortable home environment while you’re away. I truly love all animals as if they are my own. I do not currently own any of my own animals so that won’t be an issue.

“This was our first time using Roover and Carmelo was amazing. He even came over before our trip to meet us and Lana and get to know her. She instantly wanted to play with him and we knew it was going to be a great fit! He sent us photos multiple times a day and you could see she was having the best time and how happy she was with him there. We even joked that she might miss him more than us when we got home! We are rebooking him for our next trip as well and would recommend him to anyone needing their pets watched.”

I specialize in senior pet care, offering gentle attention and patience, and I’m comfortable administering medication or following special routines. I also have experience with puppies and high-energy pets, helping reinforce positive habits through calm consistency. More than anything, I treat every animal as if they were my own—with love, respect, and care tailored to their unique personality. Caring for animals is a natural part of my daily routine—I genuinely enjoy building it into my schedule. Whether it’s early morning feedings, midday walks, or evening check-ins, I plan my day around giving pets the time and attention they deserve. It doesn’t feel like work—it feels like purpose. If I care for pets in my home, I provide a cozy, pet-safe space with lots of love, supervision, and tailored attention to help them feel right at home.

About: My wife and I have a dog for over 14 years and he has just passed away recently. My wife is a dog person and we have been taking care of our friends’ dogs whenever they need to be away. Every dog loves my wife. She truly loves dogs from the bottom of her heart. I ask her to get another dog but she refuses so I am signing up now to see if it will help her to get over the sadness of losing our baby. I really hope that this will cheer her up. There is a beautiful trail by the river at the back of our home. And we bought this home simply because our dog gets so excited when he first sees it. I’m home full time, so we do dog boarding and dog day care as well. There is at least one adult staying with these pups at all time. Dogs that come to us are treated like our family dog. We feed them, pet them, play with them. We not only care about their physical health, but also make sure they feel happy.

“Paige has been an incredible walker and caretaker for our Rottweiler, Jasmine. From day one, they treated her with so much respect, patience, and love—exactly what a strong, intelligent dog like Jasmine deserves. Rottweilers can be a bit misunderstood, but Paige saw her sweet personality right away and formed an amazing bond with her. Whether it’s daily walks or overnight stays, I know Jasmine is in the best hands. We get detailed updates and the cutest photos, and it’s clear she’s happy, calm, and well cared for every time. Paige is also incredibly reliable, communicative, and respectful of our home. Finding someone I could trust with a large breed dog wasn’t easy—but Paige has exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend to anyone, especially big-dog families!”

Madeleine K.
“Madeleine has been an avid pet lover with experience (including operant conducting/training) with several varieties of dogs (big and small), cats and aquariums of all sizes. She is super organized and extremely reliable and can manage any special needs for animals big and small. She has a heart and love of animals from her experience growing up overseas including many safaris where she learned about various species, their habitats and enrichment activities. She gets her love of animals from her mother who is a wildlife biologist (can be on call)-zoo keeper. She personally built a fish-flora hydroponic system and is a brilliant and responsible young lady. If you have any pet/house/plant care needs and want a piece of mind for their care while you are away, or even just need a little extra attention or exercise for your pets, Madeleine is your "go to".”

Hannah S.
“Hannah is one of the only people I fully trust with my dogs, Rambo and Xena. They’re both big dogs with very different personalities, and she handles them with so much care, confidence, and patience. Rambo can be a bit stubborn and Xena’s more sensitive, but Hannah connects with them both so naturally. They light up when they see her, it’s clear they feel safe and loved around her! She’s responsible, communicative, and genuinely loves animals. Whether it’s sticking to their routines, giving them playtime, or just making sure they’re comfortable while I’m away, she always goes above and beyond. I never have to worry when they’re with, and that kind of peace of mind is priceless. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, I can’t recommend Hannah enough.”
