I currently have two rescue tuxedo cats (one with only one eye and nearly blind) and a well-loved flock of 25 chickens, and I’ve spent the past five years dog sitting for friends and neighbors after many years of owning dogs myself. About: I have cared for/worked with 1,000s of dogs over 10+ years across all breeds, ages, and behavioral issues. I managed a dog facility for several years, have worked in multiple other dog facilities. I have taken K9 CPR/First Aid and very knowledgeable on K9 behavior and physical well being. I have trained 100s of dogs in my lifetime. Your dog could not be in better hands. :) I stay home full time so your pet would have 100% of my time and attention! I can be flexible to you and your pets needs! I have very friendly dogs to keep your pup company! If your dog isn’t much of a playful type - that’s okay too! My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!

I want to assure you I will take care of your little baby/babies as if they were my very own. I specialize in love and care of extra small, small and medium sized pups. I do request a meet and greet because it's important you feel at ease plus i want to ensure the stay is as comfortable as possible while you are away. I can provide lots of love and snuggles and long neighborhood walks. Let me know how I can help. I am available for care throughout the week. I will only commit to stays when I can provide 24 hour in-home care for your fur baby. I am available to care for extra small, small and medium sized pups of all ages. I have 2 very friendly small pups of my own.

About: My love of dogs started when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I have acquired a load of knowledge not only in how to care for them, but also how to train them. I can provide mental and physical stimulation for your furry friend and bring most of my own equipment - I can also use the tools your pet is most familiar with. I can assess your pet to determine what your pet may need for stimulation, make suggestions for daily care, and learn at least some of their body language. My dogs and I are always interacting whenever I'm home, but most of our intentional fun/training happens outdoors daily. This includes both training and walking. I also help some of my friends train their dogs whenever our schedules allow. I believe your dog should ALWAYS be in training and you can make almost any situation a training opportunity. Your pets can be treated as my own and/or according to your specific instructions. Do you have multiple dogs that need to be separated? No problem. Can your dogs be together but need to be supervised so tension doesn't continue to build? I got you covered there too! Does your dog pull too much on walks, need to learn how to act in-doors? I can work with your dog on those things as well in addition to other things!

I work part time and am saving up to go back to college in the Fall, so until then my availability is pretty open to help. Whether its early mornings, nights, or weekend stays, I am flexible when it comes to my schedule and value consistent communication when changes come up. I have reliable transportation and can accommodate last minute needs or plan for more structured, longer care. At the moment, I prefer to take care of pets in the comfort of their own home since I don't have a big enough space to invite your pets into. You know your pet best and sticking to what they're familiar with as far as feedings, exercise, and other care is what I will prioritize. My approach is calm, steady, and confident. About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. I have administered shots, IVs, medications, eye drops, and more. I am persistent and typically can win over even the shyest and most anxious fur baby.
