“Sully had another wonderful stay with Radka and her family!! She is absolutely wonderful with the dogs and treats them as her own. Look no further if you are looking for an amazing pet sitter for your dog!! Her backyard is a play haven for the dogs and Sully always looks so happy in the pictures. Can’t recommend Radka and her family more. She is fantastic!!”

“I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

“Winnie always enjoys staying with PC and Will. It's her home away from home! They are great at sending photos and videos. Thank you for giving Winnie so much love and attention.”

“Damacia was a God sent especially at the last minute and having availability on a holiday weekend! I could tell right away that she loves what she does. She kept me informed on my Bentley’s playtime, eating and how he settled in with the other dogs! She even sent pictures of his interactions throughout the day! I will definitely be using Damacia in the future!”

“Julie was great! She was able to board our dog last minute and had a bunch of items on hand so we didn't have to bring a ton. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures. She also gave some good advice afterwards to help with boarding next time”

“Cassie and her family are incredible. We have been bringing our two pups to them since 2020. They are a loving family who give our dogs amazing care, abundant attention and armfuls of love! Cassie sends a lot of pictures and videos throughout our dogs stay that always assure us that they are in the best hands. If you're looking for a sitter you can trust, please consider Cassie and family!!”

“Gulmira was so great with our shy girl Sophie! She sent plenty of updates and was very communicative, helping us feel very comfortable leaving Sophie there for the first time! It’s clear Sophie was loved so much while she was there too and she was also exercised very well, got plenty of walks and time to explore, and made some doggy friends along the way. We are so pleased with the stay and could not recommend Gulmira more! She’s definitely a great choice if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and is kind and patient with animals.”

“Maggie was absolutely amazing with Rex this weekend! From the very beginning, she was professional and organized, even taking the time to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which gave us so much peace of mind. Throughout his stay, she kept us updated with great communication and sent plenty of photos, which we really appreciated. Rex came home happy, clean, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious he received lots of love and attention while he was with her. Maggie was truly a pleasure to work with, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would recommend her 1,000,000% to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and professional to watch their pet. We will absolutely be using her again! 🐾❤️”
“Miranda is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! She took care of our dog Archie last-minute (for the first time, too) and was incredibly kind, helpful, and constantly updated me while watching him. Archie had such a good time, he didn't want to leave! We also had to pick him up past midnight on our way back, and Miranda was extremely accommodating and, again, was just amazing overall. Her dog Crush was also super sweet and has become Archie's first best friend. We will absolutely be using her services again, and I highly recommend others to do the same!!!”

“Star’ visit was just as great as the first time. All went perfectly smoothly and Star appeared to thoroughly enjoy her stay. I was at ease knowing she was being well taken care of.”

“Laura was fantastic! She sent updates and pictures everyday. Nellie had the most fun with Laura and her family. I loved how they really adopted Nellie into the family for the week!”

“Wonderful experience. Emily and Abi took such good care of our CheChe! Communication was excellent and they made sure she had everything she needed to be healthy, happy and comfortable during her week-long stay.”

“These lovely sitters have a special place in our hearts. They truly seem to be a second family to our precious Mae. Highly recommend above all if the other boarders we’ve used through Rover and other means of securing a pet sitter.”

“My dog had an amazing time with Michelle and Milo - She liked it so much it seemed she didn’t want to leave! Seriously, Michelle took great care of my girl and made sure all of her needs were taken care of.”

“I found Stephanie by chance as my usual sitter would be out of town on vacation the same dates we were. I messaged Stephanie and we set up a meet and greet and the rest is sort of history! She was so accommodating, welcoming and happy to keep our pup! She sent pictures everyday and gave me a run down of how the day went, which eased my mama mind and heart. I will definitely book in the future ❤️”

“Christina is an awesome dog sitter! Super nice and caring. She kept us in the loop with updates, pics, and videos while we were away. The backyard is a game-changer, especially for our lively Aussie and big Old English Sheepdog. Thumbs up for keeping our pups happy! And we will definitely book with her again! 🐾”

“Amanda did a fantastic job with Willow. I was impressed with Amanda’s follow up. I received pictures multiple times a day. She understands that Willow is my world. She made sure that I knew that Willow was eating interacting with the other dogs and comfortable where she was. Not only will I rebook with Amanda. I already have.”

“I highly recommend Amy. I was extremely pleased with the communication and response time when I messaged her. She kept me updated on Stella and Poppy and how they were doing all week. It really put my mind at ease and I was confident the kitties were in good hands. Loved the pictures, too! Amy, thank you so much for caring for my girls like you would care for your own fur babies. I would definitely book with you again and I’ll recommend you to friends. ❤️”

“We were lucky enough to have Taylynn take care of our animals. She was very responsive and was communicative with daily updates and pictures. She even swept our main floor before we got home. It was almost like we never left. We can't recommend her enough!”

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! The plan is is turn this into a full-time gig so I will have probably more availability as time goes on towards the end of this year, but I’m hoping to find some regular clients that will book with me on a consistent basis! Plus, I’m really looking forward to all the pet snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too! I do highly recommend a meet & greet ahead of time so we can meet pet parents and also meet dog(s)! Let’s them see me and hopefully remember me and feel comfortable with me in their house! “They are so caring and patient. My dog can be shy around unknown people and environments and they took the extra mile to let her ease in and get comfortable. Loved receiving all the pictures and videos of her stay. Can't wait for our next visit! Thank you so much for your care.”

“My Maltipoo Macie loves to go to Josephine’s house, even for just a couple of days a week. She is so happy when I take her in the car and say she are going to see Jo Jo. Josephine is so good with her, taking her for walks, allowing her to explore her home and making her feel like a part of the family. I’m so thankful to have found such a kind, caring person to watch my dog while I’m at work.”

“Adam and Beau is a match made in heaven! Beau apparently played it cool during his visit; he had “checked out” Adam’s home on our initial visit and settled in pretty easily during his longer stay.”
“Lori was remarkably kind & caring towards my 2 fur babies. She communicated effectively & sent me photos during their stay with her. She made sure that my pups were taken care of the way we do at home, which put my mind at ease. Sammy & Sylvie are looking forward to staying with Lori & playing with Ash again soon!”

About: Lifelong Pet Lover with Years of Experience Hi, I’ve been around pets my entire life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I started walking and feeding my family dogs at just 7 years old, twice a day, making sure they had plenty of playtime and fresh air in our grassy yard. From playful puppies to gentle giants, I’ve handled dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m confident with potty training and establishing healthy routines for any breed. Since I was 15, I’ve also cared for cats, both my family’s and my friends’. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they stay off surfaces where they might break or damage anything, all while making sure they feel safe and cared for. Whether it’s a long walk, a cozy cuddle, or responsible in-home care, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry friend. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time throughout the week to give your pet the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday drop-in, or overnight stay, I’m available and committed to working around your needs. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked, they’ll have my full attention and care. Comfortable, Spacious, and Pet-Friendly Home Your pet will feel right at home here. I have a large backyard and a spacious home with plenty of room for dogs to play, explore, and relax. While the yard is not fenced, I always supervise outdoor time to ensure pets stay safe and secure. If you use training tools like an e-collar and provide them, I’m happy to use them responsibly and only according to your guidance. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, just like family.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I am looking forward to opportunities to care for your dog(s) or cat(s) while you are away and love them like they were my own. I have a fenced in yard and live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walking trails. I have three children, ages 10, 12, and 14 that grew up with dogs and learned how to be loving and respectful to animals. I’m a high school teacher so I’m able to be home during the summer and school holidays. My routine includes a morning, afternoon and an evening walk after dinner. The fenced backyard provides opportunities for exercise outside of walks. I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. Pets are cared for as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention.
About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I have cared for a wide variety of animals even giving a diabetic cat shots and caring for a blind and a deaf dog. I’ve also had the opportunity to take care of rabbits, birds and even a very social ferret. Once I became busy raising my own family, I stopped working FT but continued watching friends’ and neighbors’ animals on the side. I’m the type of person who stops to pet other people’s dogs when I’m out on a walk. ❤️ My husband and I have 5 kids, two of which live at home. I’m also a grandma with a second baby otw! As a family we’ve always had cats and dogs as well as guinea pigs, gerbils, turtle and a lizard. I’m currently working very part-time so have lots of time to love on your animals. I’m available most days and on the weekends as well. I’d love to walk your dogs and/or play with them in your backyard and hang out with them while you’re away. I also would love to give your kitties lots of attention.
“Morgan was FANTASTIC in every way! This was the first time our Lab puppy was left alone for more than (2) nights and Morgan created a wonderful experience for both Tilly and our family. She emailed me daily updates and photos of our pup, always checked in with us and treated Tilly like a member of your family. Morgan, I can't thank you enough for loving Tilly and keeping her safe and happy when we were gone.”

“Cindy is a wonder! My scaredy-dog loves her, and went to her willingly even though it had been a long time since his last visit. She asked if I’d like her to give him a bath, and that was a very welcome addition. Thank you Cindy!”

I’m very comfortable with different personalities and routines. I’m attentive and genuinely enjoy all animals. I will always make your pets feel safe and cared for with walks and plenty of playtime! I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a three-month-old Golden Retriever puppy named Archie, so I’m very familiar with puppy routines, training, potty breaks, and high-energy playtime. I also raised two of my mom's Pomeranians, Flynn and Pepper, from puppyhood and lived with and cared for them daily for years. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with both small and large breeds, as well as the patience, consistency, and attention that dogs need to feel safe and comfortable. Caring for animals fits very naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely love spending time with pets and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved! I’m currently working toward my teaching license this summer, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of availability for walks, drop-ins, playtime, cuddles, and keeping pets company throughout the day. I can handle nearly any issue that concerns dogs, whether that be giving medicine to your pup or cleaning up vomit, I can do it all! I also have no issue training new puppies for certain tasks, so feel free to ask me.

This means I have extensive training experience with puppies, and trust me, he was a vicious little guy! I pride myself in gentle care and positive reinforcement to train. I am currently working part time as a CNA at a hospital! This means I work 8 hour shifts some days but with proper planning I can be with your fur babies right before and right after any shifts! Sometimes I may even be off the days you need(: Pet care is always a thought in my head so I am familiar with how to fit life in around the animals! I will practice care with your fur baby in their home where they have all there necessities and belongings to make them feel the most safe and comfortable while you are away! I love to provide play time outside with toys or just hangout on the couch for some down time with your fur baby. I am there for them and whatever they are used to, so any details into their life is great!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any size and age. My neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for many years to watch over their pets. From dogs, cats, and even horses, I have kept animals safe and happy. During visits I can take pets on walks, play with them, administer medicine, and provide proper clean up! I am currently home from college right now, so I have a lot of free time! For me, pet care will be a priority this summer. I’m available at all hours during the day, aside from a couple of weeks this summer where I will be out of town! I will have plenty of time to keep your pets happy! In your home, I will ensure your pets are consistently in a safe environment. I will remove any hazards in your pet’s space, ensure leashes/harnesses are intact before walks, properly lock doors before leaving, and I can safely crate your pet if needed.

About: Ive taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I currently have a 5 & 6 year old golden retriever and lab. I have a huge fenced backyard and do have two littles in my house. I can do boarding, petcare, or drop in visits. UPDATE : I no longer live an apartment - it won’t let me upload on the app. I now live in Powhatan, VA with a backyard! I have a friendly 2 year old lab, a one year old golden, and two cats. All of my animals are very friendly. You can trust me to care for your pets simply because I’ll love them like they’re mine!

About: My previous experience in pet care includes employment at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts as a pet care associate, volunteering at Richmond Animal League, and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Pet sitting for pets around my neighborhood was my first job! Growing up with pets of my own my whole life has also allowed me to become accustomed to caring for animals of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. As a college student on summer break, I am opening my schedule up through mid-August and plan to fill my days/weeks with pet care services! Help me keep busy :) I am currently offering walks, drop ins, and/or overnight services, and I have experience with caring for pets in others’ homes. As of right now I am unable to provide boarding services.
About: I’ve had dogs in the house since I was born. I genuinely enjoy caring for pets, I don’t think of it as just a job. I only work part-time so I have lots of free time to help out! I try to get back to messages as quick as possible. I’m not available for boarding I provide reliable drop-in visits, dog walking, and pet sitting. I follow your pet’s routine, give lots of attention, and keep you updated with messages and photos.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!
About: I walk an Jog everyday. I love dogs a puppies and cats! I also have 3 pet rabbits so if you have a rabbit I can take care of it as well. I have 4 dogs and 4 cats. 2 of my dogs are pure breed German shepherds and 1 is a Golden Shepherd so I’m not scared of big dogs!! I can do any drop in visit for cats or dogs or walks I’m a stay at home mom. My time is pretty free daily. I’m available for any drop in visit or daily walks. I also did Certified nursing my junior year of high school at a vocational school. I will follow all care instructions for the clients house and everything they tell me for the care of the pets they have so they know it’s right.

About: Hi! I'm a passionate pet sitter with professional experience working in both a boarding kennel and a veterinary clinic. During my time at the kennel, I cared for pets of all ages—from young puppies and kittens to senior pets—and worked with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I also have experience caring for pets with medical conditions and special needs, including administering medications and providing attentive, individualized care. Working in a veterinary clinic has further strengthened my knowledge of animal health and behavior, allowing me to recognize when a pet may need extra attention and provide confident, compassionate care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll treat them like one of my own. My goal is to keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos throughout my visits. 🐾 I currently work full time at the veterinary clinic but I can pop in multiple times a day to check on your furry friend(s) or I can also stay the night at your house 😊 When caring for your furry friends in their home, my goal is to keep them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine as much as possible. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship and attention based on each pet’s personality and needs. I also have experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a boarding kennel, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, including those with medical conditions or special care instructions. I understand that pets feel most secure in their own environment, so I take the time to make them feel calm and cared for while you’re away. I can administer medications if needed and will closely follow any instructions you provide to ensure their health and well-being. During each visit, I’ll also check that everything is safe and in order in your home, and I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pets are doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family members are in caring, capable hands. 🐾
(*Please note: House Sitting rates apply to stays where overnight accommodations (a clean bed/space) are provided in your home. If you prefer daytime/evening visits only without overnight stays, please book via my Drop-In rates!)
About: My love of dogs started about 5 years ago when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I have acquired a load of knowledge not only in how to care for them, but also how to train them. I can provide mental and physical stimulation for your furry friend and bring most of my own equipment - I can also use the tools your pet is most familiar with. I can assess your pet to determine what your pet may need for stimulation, make suggestions for daily care, and learn at least some of their body language. My dogs and I are always interacting whenever I'm home, but most of our intentional fun/training happens for about 2-3 hours each day outdoors. This includes both training and walking. I also help some of my friends train their dogs whenever our schedules allow. I believe your dog should ALWAYS be in training and you can make almost any situation a training opportunity. Your pets can be treated as my own and/or according to your specific instructions. Do you have multiple dogs that need to be separated? No problem. Can your dogs be together but need to be supervised so tension doesn't continue to build? I got you covered there too! Does your dog pull too much on walks, need to learn how to act in-doors? I can work with your dog on those things as well in addition to other things!

“These lovely sitters have a special place in our hearts. They truly seem to be a second family to our precious Mae. Highly recommend above all if the other boarders we’ve used through Rover and other means of securing a pet sitter.”

“This is our second time leaving our two babies with Sheri, and she is amazing! Very communicative and she and her kids were so great with our dogs. Trust her and her kids with our babies and will definitely continue to use her in the future!”

“Our pups looked like they enjoyed their stay with Dylan. I appreciated the daily updates with photos and his quick responses. We were nervous because the rescue we got 3 months ago has separation anxiety, but it sounds like he did well and both our dogs were calm and content when we picked them up. They already have their next stay booked!”

“Rachel was an absolute lifesaver! She stepped in at the last minute after our original sitter canceled, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. She was incredibly flexible, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made us feel at ease knowing our pups were in good hands. She also has two dogs of her own, and they got along great with ours, which made the experience even better. Our dogs came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely book with Rachel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Abby was super awesome. We did one overnight and our pup was well taken care of and was returned to us happy! She was really flexible on pick up and drop off times which is always helpful. We will definitely be coming back, thanks Abby!”
