About: Hey friends! 🐾 For over 3 years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs through Rover, working alongside an experienced, highly rated sitter behind the scenes. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, building the knowledge and confidence needed to provide safe, reliable, and personalized care. I’ve decided to create my own Rover profile to offer my services independently and connect with more families in the Joplin area! I’m an active, dependable, and hardworking individual who enjoys staying busy and spending time outdoors. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone around for companionship, I’m happy to adjust to their individual needs and routines. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits, with the possibility of house sitting in the future. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. I offer drop-in visits and house sitting, which can include feeding, refreshing water, potty breaks, walks when appropriate, playtime, companionship, and cleaning up after your pet. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet environment and gentle affection, I will do my best to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I have been caring for pets including my own for over 5 years now. I strive to provide dependable, attentive care while making sure each pet receives the time and attention they deserve. I plan my schedule around my radiography school and PRN job so I can be reliable and consistent with visits, walks, feeding times, and other care needs. I am happy to discuss your pet's routine ahead of time to make sure we are a good fit and to help keep their day as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I will be able to spend multiple hours in the afternoon and drop in at least once in the morning during the week before school. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be a priority. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications if applicable, household rules, and any special needs your pet may have. I will take the time to learn about your pet's behavior, routines, and any potential concerns before providing care. I respect your home and your privacy, keep pets in safe and appropriate environments, and communicate with you about how things are going. I want you to feel confident and at ease knowing your pet is being cared for with patience, kindness, and responsibility.

About: I’ve had several family dogs growing up which jumpstarted my passion and love for animals. Over a year ago I adopted my own dog from a local shelter(it was the best decision I have ever made)! Throughout high school I would pick up dog sitting gigs, where I would watch after the house and tend to the pets needs, providing love and enrichment. Im very flexible with my schedule and would love to help a fellow pet parent out! I currently am enrolled in college, and finish classes in the early afternoon and will be working a part-time job at the university. With this being said it will leave me with plenty time for your fur babies! I live in an apartment with a dog park where your furry friend is always welcome! I also have a very friendly rescue pup of my own, and she’s always looking for a new friend! Having a border collie mix, I know the importance of walks and frequent enrichment!

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 9. I have raised several dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I am very well versed in potty training, bathing, and responsible play. For many years I have bathed and walked dogs for my family and friends in addition to taking care of my own. I absolutely love animals and look forward to giving yours all the love and attention it needs! I am a stay at home mom whose kids are all in school now. So that means I have a lot of free time for your pets! I currently have a dog who does not like other dogs, so staying at my house is unfortunately not an option. I do however love getting to visit other pets and thoroughly enjoy taking long walks with them or having a play session with them.

“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Samantha!!! My mom lives in Aurora Mo and I live 9 hours away in Wisconsin, my mom ended up in the hospital and I had no one to go let her dogs out. Samantha answered my message for help in just minutes saying she could assist with taking care of the dogs. She was even able to let them out and feed them the SAME NIGHT as my distress message. Set up 2 more visits for the next day as well because my dad wouldn’t be home until later that night. Samantha made me feel so at ease with entering my mom’s house without meeting her, taking care of my mom’s dogs that are her babies and locking back up! I was grateful for the pictures she sent of them so I knew they did indeed go potty. I sent the pictures to my mom and she cried knowing they were being well taken care of. Samantha thank you for being my hero and taking such good care of Dezi and Rowdy while my mom was in the hospital on such extremely short notice!!”

I work a regular job during the week and am mostly available Thursdays through Sundays to pet sit. I usually always have that whole weekend off so whenever you need someone to watch for those days, I am always available. I spoil my pets. I give them lots of treats and lots of love and I will do the same for my clients pets and whatever they need me to do

I stick to detailed care instructions, provide plenty of attention and exercise, keep litter boxes or yards clean, and send regular updates with photos.
