“So happy with booking Anna. She was so friendly and took great care of the dogs while we were on vacation. Hope to book her again in the future.”

“WE LOVE ANN!!! We had never used Rover before and she made it so easy to understand and helped with dates and times along the way. Ann gave us daily updates, spent the time requested with Samson and just made our vacation time worry free! We appreciate you Ann! Thank you!!”

“Madeline was awesome! She dropped in to see our kitties while we were away for a short vacation. She made sure their food and water was good, spent some time giving them love and pets, and even scooped the litter box, even though I said she didn't have to worry about it. She even fed our beta!”

“100% amazing! She is my go to sitter! Would recommend her to anyone! I can travel with one of my dogs, but can’t with the other and Angela does amazing with her and her anxiety! Would recommend to my best friends, and you too!”

“Jamie checked in our pets while we were gone for the weekend. She was a life saver when our original plans fell through. She is very punctual, and she sent us videos during her visits. We will definitely her again!”

“Bonny was great, I would recommend her to anyone. Very communicative, kept my cat good company, and went above and beyond by cleaning up after the cat, drying his food/water mat that got wet. I will be using Bonny from here on out for watching my pet.”

“The best person with your dog!! You won’t have to worry about your dog while in the care of matthew. Updates, photos, and responds quicker than my own significant other! Haha but seriously you can tell Matthew really cares and enjoys time with your pet. When he is with your dog, it feels as if you are right with your furry friend the whole time.”

“Kirsten was so great with my little boy!! She followed all of the instructions for his meds and food. I will definitely have her watch him again! Thanks Kirstin!”

About: I have taken care of lots of pets and I just love being around and showing my love for animals, rather it’s walking or sitting. I’m very active, I have lots of free time on my hands so dog sitting would be perfect. If you need a cat sitter I’m also available for cat sitting as well. 💓 I have a lot of extra space in my home and live 2min in walking distance to a dog park, and any little toys or treats I can help out with, my boyfriend works at petco 😆

About: New to Rover, not to pets!I've owned dogs for over 20 years. Volunteered at shelters, taken in strays and found them homes, and adopted as well. I have sat for countless friends and family over the years and now I'd like to become an entrepreneur of sorts, doing what brings me joy! Open schedule currently. I am able to accommodate and work around sudden schedule changes. Looking to sit at least 3 times a week. Book me please! I respect others pets and property and treat it as my own. Reputation and trust are important and if a family is so kind to consider me to take care of their furbaby, I would do nothing to jeopardize that trust.

“Awesome dog sitter. Loves dogs. My dog was super happy with him.”

About: I've owned pets my entire life. I've cared for all of my pets through senior ages, including managing many variations of care/medications, with compassion. I'm looking forward to helping care for others pets since I no longer have one of my own. Being a hands on dog mom for so many years, I understand how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy care taker to match my care expectations, so I'm hopeful to help others that experience the same for their own fur family member. I work from home 3 days a week, so I'm home 5 out of 7 days. I work 4 miles from my home so can make frequent visits on the 2 days I'm in office. I have no other pets or children in the home. I can care for your pet(s) as if they are in your own home. I can provide frequent bathroom breaks, walks, and medication administration.

About: Taken care of family dog for years, as well as took care of my neighbors two dogs when they were out of town many different times. I currently work in the office most days, but with afternoons and nights totally open. I am also totally open on weekends for pet care. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to roam around and relieve themselves, as well as plenty of space inside and am very attentive to their needs.

About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 30 years experience caring for dogs, cats, pet birds, chickens, small mammals, reptiles, and other "non-traditional" pets. In addition to dogs and cats, my own pets have included rabbits, ferrets, box turtles, parrots, finches, and even a Texas spiny lizard! Do you have a senior dog or cat that needs some extra care and attention during the day? Or a special needs pet that has unique medical needs the average person may not be prepared to handle? Or how about a new puppy that needs mid-day potty breaks while you are at work, and could also use a few extra minutes of training to learn good habits? As a Fear Free Certified Professional, I only use reward-based training methods so your pet will look forward to my visits! I currently work full-time from home. My work schedule is unique which gives me the opportunity to provide mid-day walks and drop-in visits, as well as evening check-ins. I value the trust you place in someone to care for your furry, feathered, or scaled family member in the same manner that you would. I have dedicated my life to caring for and providing medical care for other people's pets, and will look after your pets as if they were my own!

“Did a great job and was so accommodating and friendly!”

“Kat was amazing with Leo! She updated me daily and I had no worries while I was away. Will definitely book with Kat next time I have to leave town.”

“Sierra took great care of my fur babies while I was away for the holidays! She was very thorough and treated them with love and care. I would definitely recommend her and will be rebooking in the future!”

About: A willingness to go above and beyond. Respect for schedule rigidity, as I was in the Million Dollar Band. Empathetic with people and animals. I treat homes respectfully and leave them better than I found it. Fondness for the outdoors and enjoy going on walks. I recently graduated college but am finishing my lease in Tuscaloosa before taking a job in the professional world. I currently work in the service industry, but that is mostly during the evening times. With my free time I love to get a dog for a day from Metro Animal Shelter and take care of it. I’m very flexible in terms of taking care of pets and homes. As long as their food and water space and your preferred potty schedule are clearly defined, no issues should arise.

“Wendy was a cheeful, reliable sitter that took extra care with my pets. She easily handled feeding our pet parakeets in addition to our cats. I would highly recommend her.”

About: When it comes to the quality of care I demand for my Chihuahuas when I'm away, I am completely ridiculous. And you should be too! I've been taking the best care of my sweet little pack for over 10 years. I was also heavily involved with rescue and adoptions in my previous community--taking in large and small dogs of all breeds, ages, and from all different types of circumstances. Three of mine are foster fails because I get too attached too quickly; that's why I stopped fostering! I prioritize their safety, health, and happiness above everything. I treat every single one just like they are my own. I take feeding portions, administering meds, and providing all the required kisses and snuggles as seriously as everyone should. Whether it's checking the area for any choking hazards, making sure they get their pill on time or finished all their food, or topping off the water bowl, I'm your guy. Contact me for a meet and greet. I would love to help out whenever you're away. I promise your home and your babies are safe with me! I'm a working professional with flexibility and a passion for taking care of other busy people's furry loved ones when I am able. Available early mornings, after 5 and late nights during M-F. Full availability during weekends. Multiple dogs? No problem for me. My dogs usually have free reign of my house when I'm at work, with bedroom doors closed and no choking hazards lying around. I also converted one of my bedrooms into their room, with toddler beds and a small tv mounted near the floor, with a Furbo camera nearby. They do great in their crates when we're on the road and great in their room with the gate closed if I'm having lots of company over. I feed them twice a day and don't free-feed (because there are a couple of little thieves in the mix!). Whatever your routine or expectations, just let me know and I will be glad to accommodate so that your pet's routine carries on as normal in your absence. It's already hard enough on them when we're away--no need to disrupt their routine more than necessary.

Jessica B.
“Jessica will make an excellent Rover sitter. I have known her for several years and witnessed the care and love she had for her own dogs. She watched my dog Nathan on a few occasions and always kept me updated with daily pictures, taking long walks and playing fetch. She is very reliable and meticulous about understanding what a dog needs, from feeding and sleeping habits to any medications that your dog may be taking. I would definitely recommend her as an honest, reliable and caring sitter to all my friends.”

Arlie M.
“Arlie has one of the most pure loves for animals I have ever seen. She grew up with dogs and the love and loyalty those dogs have had for her is so amazing to see. I have known Arlie through some of her busiest and hectic times, and she never fails to do what she knows she needs to do whether it is inconvenient to her or not. I have no doubt that whatever pet she has will be the most loved and cared for animal and that love will go both ways.”
