My whole world is cats. I've been pet-sitting since I was a child and have had many cats over my 25 years of life. I have a special needs cat who is the light of my life, and my main goal is to give your cat the level of care that I would want my own cat to receive while I'm away. I have cared for my family's diabetic cat who required a feeding tube, B12 shots, glucose testing, and twice-daily insulin shots. I currently care for a cat with asthma, who regularly uses an inhaler and needs both topical and oral medicine for his condition. I have TNRed multiple feral cats in Texas, cared for a pregnant stray, and helped her and her kittens find homes. I have a lot of experience with dealing with medical issues in cats (pancreatitis, worms, allergies, diabetes, asthma, hyperthyroidism, etc) and administering medicine for these conditions (shots, pills, topical medicines, liquid medicines, nose flush and suction, and inhaler).

I always let a cat come to me, to allow them to get comfortable with me and feel less stress about my visits. I've found 95% of the time when I have a skittish cat to take care of, allowing them space and time decreases their stress and earns their trust. I am very careful when entering and exiting a home, and I make sure to leave your home the way I found it.

Geni was absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough! She went above and beyond to care for my babies, spending extra time making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved. One of my cats was dealing with constipation, and Geni kept a close eye on them, offered extra care, and provided incredibly detailed updates and photos that gave me so much peace of mind. Her patience and attention to my more timid cat truly showed how much she cares. Geni is professional, compassionate, and genuinely treats your pets like her own. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats, and I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I mostly take booking with semi flexible schedules so that I have time to give extra attention to cats as needed. With that flexibility I am able to give more time to cats that need extra attention or care when needed.
