About: I’ve been taking care of animals since a young age and turned that into a career that I am hugely passionate about! I am a pet CPR certified pet groomer of 8 years and I have a special needs pups of my own so I understand all different types of care and that every pet is different. I have experience with IVDD and other back disorders as well as senior care, blind dogs, pets with high anxiety, large dogs and our feline friends. I do work part time but working at a vets office as a groomer has its perks with being flexible! My schedule can vary but for pets who are use to owners being at work for part of the day never seem to mind! My typical day is about 4-6 hours. Dogs who are comfortable could possibly attend work with me, just depending on the pup and their needs and your wants. Safety and comfort are my number one goals when watching your babies. Unless I’m working your pet is under my constant supervision, please reach out to discuss details about my hours of work if that’s a concern for you! Let’s make sure we are a good fit and I can meet your pets needs. Your pets are treated like my own when they are under my care and supervision, the exact way I’d want someone to care for my pets when I’m away. I do require a meet and greet so your pets and I can get to know each other and I can get a good idea of the care you’d like and your pets daily activities. A list of all medical issues, information on their usual vet, behavioral issues, medications and allergies (or anything you can think of that I might need) needs to be left where I can access it for quick reference.

About: I have been caring for pets as long as I can remember. My family always had family dogs and cats when I was growing up in addition to the occasional turtle, bird, and fish. I’m very comfortable with any animal you may own with four legs and have experience in providing care for special needs dogs including giving medication as needed. I currently have two cats and two rabbits of my own so I know how important it is that your pets get the proper care and attention. Currently I am in my off season waiting for the fire season to start back up in June. Luckily for you that means that I am available every day of the week, excluding a few hours on Sundays for church but I can happily still make sure your pets aren’t alone for the rest of the day. “Jessie came to our house prior to leaving her with Roscoe. She was thorough meaning she asked questions. She had a notebook and took notes. I felt she was a very warm and genuine person. Roscoe took to her right away. When Jessie came to the house for the stay, Roscoe went right up to her in greeting. We left her with information about Roscoe as well as other important information and reviewed with Jessie. We left and within a couple of hours received pictures of Roscoe. We were gone for two days but received a few pictures and updates. What I really appreciated was that she was glad that we texted her to let her know that we made it home. We were running late and told her it was okay to leave but she wanted to make sure we got home. Last couple of things, our house was immaculate. We have house sitters before, but this was the first time I could say that. Also, Roscoe seemed very happy and didn't seem out of sorts. We will definitely use Jessie again.”

To let you know a little about me, I am currently a UC Davis student and am looking to spend my time over the summer with some sweet animals! I have plenty of experience with many different animal such dogs, cats, and more. I know how to care for a range of pets as I have cared for senior animals and special needs animals before. I myself have a pup who needs medication every morning and night which come with side effects such as increase in thirst, hunger, and hyperactivity. So, I am well immersed with dogs that may require a little more maintenance. For house sitting, I’d love to meet your animals beforehand so they know who I am first and feel more comfortable when stay in their home for a prolonged period of time. What works best for me is a small yet informational note outlining your pets daily routine— things like when they eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, how much they eat, how often you would like them to be walked, where they go or what they do while I am out of the house, and anything else you feel is necessary. This lets me get an idea of what the animals needs/wants while I am there. This allows me to maintain a comfortable environment for them in hope to reduce any possible stress. For drop in visits: Usually I stay for about an hour and half per drop in visit but if more time is needed or requested that is not a problem! During that time, I will go on walks, engage in different activities with them, and check on food/water too. Also, while I am there if there is any other house maintenance that needs to be done such as skimming the pool or checking the mail let me know! I am happy to however I can. Overall, I hope to hear from you and meet all your pets soon! This summer, I do plan on working, likely part-time, so I will have lots of time to spend time with your animals and taking them on walks or other ways to exert energy! To keep the animals as comfortable as possible with a new person in their home I try to stick to a similar routine that they are used to.

About: I’m a professional dog trainer, but I started my career in the dog walking and pet sitting industry. I specialize in dogs with extra training or behavioral needs, plus due to my experience can accommodate most medical needs. I am also comfortable with all other pets and have experience watching cats, fish, reptiles, and livestock I am a professional dog trainer, and I own my own business. This allows for a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate any pet sitting duties I may have. Training lessons usually only last about an hour, and I don’t have more than one or two per work day. The rest of my work is done from home (or wherever I’m staying) - emails, social media, returning phone calls, etc. I like to keep pets I’m watching on as close to their regular schedule as possible, including walks, feeding times, bedtime, etc. I also believe that keeping up on the cleanliness of the house and yard (if applicable) are a crucial piece to house sitting, and I tend to always leave spaces the way I found them or better
