She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: If my rates are an obstacle in caring for your pet then I’m happy to provide a sliding scale and have a discussion upon request. Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. I love exercising animals as much as it is tolerated by them. I currently work per diem as a staff nurse in Lebanon NH which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I am happy to abide by your house rules and expectations for your pet(s). I enjoy walks to dog parks, trails, playing in fenced yards and practicing obedience and tricks!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and have done house sitting for 4 years. I love doing this kind of stuff. I can walk them, go for walks all that fun stuff. Im doing babysitting right now but can house sit whenever and can be with the dogs/cats whenever. I am always free to take them out whenever needed. I will watch pets in your home and or/ stay in your home for house sitting overnight. I will keep them safe and follow any rules.
