About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up in a family with them, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and has informed our decisions on our land, with a fully fenced-in maintained & mowed yard of over half an acre, with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and explore. We’ve also set up outdoor enrichment and play options, including tug and pull toys hanging from some of the trees, large herding balls, and plenty of open space for running and playing. For dogs who benefit from a little extra security outdoors, we also have an optional leash run. Between the two of us, we have plenty of time and space to give the dogs in our care lots of attention and companionship throughout the day. Our dog, Bunny, is extremely friendly and loves being around both people and other dogs. She’s playful, social, and always excited to make a new friend. Because we don’t want her to feel lonely, we regularly take her to the dog park so she can socialize and play with other dogs. Seeing how happy she is running around and making friends is actually one of the reasons we decided we’d love to welcome other dogs into our home. Pet care is already a big part of our everyday life, so having another dog around fits very naturally into our routine. We have the time, space, and flexibility to give our guest dogs plenty of attention, outdoor time, play, and companionship, while also giving Bunny a new friend to spend time with. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Before caring for a dog, I like to learn about their routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers so I can keep their experience as familiar and stress-free as possible. On our property, when dogs are outside they’re either on a leash walking or in our enclosed large yard space, never bring left unsupervised. Dogs always have access to fresh water, and receive regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and pay close attention to how each dog is feeling, especially during hot weather or after exercise. About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: I can’t remember the last time I’ve lived in a home without a dog or cat! I’ve been training my own furball who’s 10 months old and he’s doing great! I’d say most of my experience comes from watching my own animals, family’s furry friends and neighbors’ pets. I have some time on my hands in between jobs at the moment to help others out. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. My dog is my everything and yours will get the same love and care while with me! We do long walks when temperatures allow and brief outdoor breaks during the day to stay cool and get in some exercise! I live in an apartment that is very walkable and has many parks around! Meanwhile, my young dog Rafe completely bonded to Sam and kept her in sight all the time. Plenty of outside exercise and I loved the photo updates. I’ve never boarded these two before but it worked out great and will happily board with Sam again.”
About: I have taken care of pets and have had pets for as long as I can remember. I have two dogs and three cats! My animals are my kids! About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up in a family with them, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and has informed our decisions on our land, with a fully fenced-in maintained & mowed yard of over half an acre, with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and explore. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of friends, neighbors, and family, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, routines, and energy levels. My wife and I also have our own dog, Bunny, who has been with us since she was just 8 weeks old. She is truly part of our family—basically our daughter! We’ve put a great deal of time, attention, and love into raising her. She has attended multiple training classes, receives regular veterinary care and healthy meals, has more toys than she knows what to do with, and travels with us whenever possible. Because of these experiences, I’m comfortable caring for both large and small dogs and understand that every dog has different needs. I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s normal routine, whether that means energetic walks and playtime, trips to the dog park, practicing their training, or simply providing a calm and comfortable environment where they can relax. What I can especially offer is plenty of time and individual attention. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time with the dogs in my care. My wife is an AI scientist who works from home, so between the two of us, there is almost always someone around. Most importantly, we understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior, comfort, and wellbeing, and I’m happy to send regular photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing while you’re away. We would care for your fur baby with the same patience, attention, and affection that we give Bunny. We live on Farr Farm, a spacious former family farm. We have a fully fenced-in maintained & mowed yard of over half an acre, with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and explore. The yard is roughly half shaded by large mature trees and half open and sunny, so dogs can choose where they’re most comfortable throughout any activity. We’ve also set up outdoor enrichment and play options, including tug and pull toys hanging from some of the trees, large herding balls, and plenty of open space for running and playing. For dogs who benefit from a little extra security outdoors, we also have an optional leash run. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule, and my wife is a medical research scientist who works from home. Between the two of us, we have plenty of time and space to give the dogs in our care lots of attention and companionship throughout the day. Our dog, Bunny, is extremely friendly and loves being around both people and other dogs. She’s playful, social, and always excited to make a new friend. Because we don’t want her to feel lonely, we regularly take her to the dog park so she can socialize and play with other dogs. Seeing how happy she is running around and making friends is actually one of the reasons we decided we’d love to welcome other dogs into our home. Pet care is already a big part of our everyday life, so having another dog around fits very naturally into our routine. We have the time, space, and flexibility to give our guest dogs plenty of attention, outdoor time, play, and companionship, while also giving Bunny a new friend to spend time with. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Before caring for a dog, I like to learn about their routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers so I can keep their experience as familiar and stress-free as possible. On our property, when dogs are outside they’re either on a leash walking or in our enclosed large yard space, never bring left unsupervised. Dogs always have access to fresh water, and receive regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and pay close attention to how each dog is feeling, especially during hot weather or after exercise. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I’ll follow all instructions carefully, keep the home clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter and animal lover! I grew up with a childhood dog whom I loved very much. When she passed, I began dog sitting often because I adore dogs so much I am a current Dartmouth senior with a very flexible day-to-day schedule. I have an active lifestyle and would love to add your dog into it! I live right next to several trail systems which I regularly use. I also live next to an extremely large, unfenced green space + a small front yard.

“I am truly grateful to have found Lexi to care for my dog, Vizhna. I need to board V for 11 weekends over a nine-month period because I'm going to school away from home. Vizhna gets anxious in new situations, so it was important for me to find one person who could do most or all of the weekends, instead of finding a different sitter for each weekend. I contacted 14 pet-sitters on Rover that didn't work out--before I contacted Lexi. Lexi is calm, competent, thoughtful, caring, and detail-oriented, and Vizhna was able to relax and enjoy herself while staying with Lexi and her family. That was a huge weight off my heart, to find a situation where V will not feel anxious while she's away from home--and in fact to find a second (temporary) home for V. “Christy dog sat our two Samoyeds around Christmas 2023 and my wife, and I, and our dogs loved her! Christy asked the right questions about dogs and their behavior. She approached them with respect and restraint, so they would get a chance to sniff her before we left them with her. She has a beautiful property with fenced yard, where dogs can run and have fun and be safe. We also gave her a go ahead to take the dogs on longer walks on nearby trails. The rest of Christy's family doted on our dogs, and the dogs loved all the attention. Christy sent us pictures and videos of dogs enjoying themselves and she was available over text if we had questions. We hope to use Christy's dog sitting services again.”
