About: I have worked with animals all my life, including caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, horses, cows, and reptiles. I grew up providing basic first aid for my pets on my farm including bandaging, medications, and baths. I have worked with dogs from small jack russel terriers to large livestock guarding dogs. Most recently I helped my mom rescue and retrain a geriatric blue healer/beagle mix. This includes potty training and basic manners on and off the leash. I also administered medications 2x a day in the form of pills. I have also had experience giving injections for medications. I am well versed in all types of animal care, a quick learner, and great at following instructions. I’m a new stay at home mom with a flexible schedule. I have 2 dogs of my own so adding more into our routine just makes sense! I love to explore, hike, and go for drives. It’s even better to do these things with a furry companion. Let me show your furry friend the joys of nature and lots of love and care.

“Thanks to Megan for her enthusiastic and committed dog walking skills. We all appreciated her professionalism.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I’ve owned and self-trained three energetic Boxers and currently share my life with a sweet Weimaraner named Pilot. I’ve cared for dogs at all stages—from playful puppies to loving seniors—and understand the unique needs that come with each age. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just some comforting company, I treat every dog like family. I’m a teacher who is free all summer and has a flexible schedule during the rest of the year. I live in the West Akron area. Pilot is a high energy Weim who loves cuddles and play time. He has been trained my myself and my husband. I am used to walks, play, cuddles, baths, meds….everything you can imagine.

About: I have been working at a dog day care for 6 years, which is how I got into dog sitting. I also worked in the veterinary field for 3 years. I am currently working full time 7:30/8-4:30/5 so I am not at home during the day. I am usually home by 5:30 at the latest. i have 2 dogs that are super good with other dogs so i usually take them on walks or to the park and let them run around

About: I’ve always had dogs pretty much at every stage of my life. I’ve learned how to care for them and a lot about their behaviour due to this. I’ve taken care of several different types of dogs (seniors, puppies, rescues). Currently there are 3 dogs living in my house, two of which are rescues. I can administer medicine and can provide daily exercise. I’m not really doing a lot right now. I’ll be on summer/winter breaks which leaves my schedule pretty open and flexible. So this leaves me with lot of time to take care of my own pets and potentially others! With my dogs, I feed them once in the morning and once in the afternoon (they’re little dogs). I give them their medications and take them on walks frequently (probably every 2-3 hours). With my clients, I will go off of whatever the pet’s owner says.

About: I've spent most of my life in care of animals, whether that was at home or the local strays, but the last 10 years especially I've found a passion for caring for animals. We (Sam, pictured above) have been boarding together for about a year now, her having almost 4 years of experience doing this nearly full time. I've cared for many breeds of dogs, cats, and even reptiles through this time, handling the special needs cases too!! I LOVE what I do, and have no issue with more complicated lil buddies too! It's always a pleasure to get the experience with each of these unique lil friends! Right now, this is what I'm doing full time, so it's really based on scheduling for that month/week between my own home, especially having 5 animals myself, but it still leaves me with plenty of free time! This usually averages to be like a 45-55hr/wk job for me. I thrive on instruction, especially if you're looking for peace of mind while away from your lil furry friends! I always try and plan with the owners to have a meet n greet before hand, to be sure everyone gets along. Then, if that went well, we can proceed with scheduling and planning a second visit to talk about home/care instructions in further depth (trash day, parking if it's overnights, various little things of that nature). From there, it's all about the pets! I love the lil guys, and prioritize them and the space we're in with them during their care the entire time you're away!

About: Friendly house with fenced in courtyard; our dog Finley loves having visitors, sharing his toys, having a playmate and nap buddy. After 30+ years I retired from a local fire department as a firefighter/paramedic; my wife Elizabeth (Betty) is also retired after spending years as a business administrator/RN. We love having our grandchildren and grand dogs visit and know that spending time with our canine visitors is not only fun but important. Our house is in a newer development with quiet, low traffic streets; Finley loves seeing his friends in the neighborhood and meeting new pals. Finley also likes to go for car rides to see new places, maybe some of his new friends can go with him on his travels. We cannot wait to meet new "fur" friends. We are both retired so our schedules include a lot of flexibility to be able to maintain interaction and activities with our visiting furry friends. Our courtyard is fenced in and we will always either be outside with the visitors or watching them carefully. We always make certain any visitor gets along well with Finley.

I hope I will be able to help with your fur babies! Pet care fits in just great with my daily routine! I am able to drop in a few times a day and make get there quickly! I will take great of your dog just like I do my own! I will be sure to make the dog feel loved as if they were my own! Providing water, food and exercise!

“Thank you, Mackenzie. You were patient with our dog Baker understanding that he is sometimes fearful of others and you kept me informed. Would highly recommend Mackenzie.”

About: Hello! My name is Amanda Engel. I am a trusted, experienced pet care professional who is very passionate about dogs! -Experience: I am a graduate of the Medina County Career Center's two year Animal Care program in which I worked in a Doggy Daycare, grooming salon, veterinary lab, and a pet shop as a part of the program. I have volunteered at the Humane Society for many years and currently volunteer for a local pet rescue. I have fostered dogs (both puppies and adults), and with a little patience and love, have helped many fearful dogs recover, learn to trust again, and become adoptable. I’ve always been told that dogs are drawn to me (probably because they can sense that I love them so much!). -Services: Regarding my services, I have years of experience in providing a variety of pet care services (drop-in care, dog walking, and overnight care). I have provided care for dogs anywhere from 5 pounds to 100 pounds! I am well rounded when it comes to experience with different breeds and always accommodate to the individual needs of each dog. I have uploaded lots of photos of my time spent with with my beloved fur friends! Feel free to check them out! (Click on my photo and then “Gallery”). Regarding my schedule, I currently have availability for your pet and am accepting new clients. I look forward to getting to know your pet and spending time with him / her! Since the comfort and safety of your pet is my #1 priority, I take the following steps to ensure a safe and healthy environment: - Monitoring weather conditions and limiting time outdoors in excess heat -Always keeping dogs on a leash when outdoors -Inquiring about any medical history or needs and adhering to any medication schedules -Taking a Canine First Aid & CPR course periodically to maintain safety skills

About: My Fiancé and I foster dogs, we've recently adopted a Jack Russell mix that we became attached to. My other experience was with our family Golden Retriever and going every week to visit the dogs at our local shelter. I'm looking for a job to supplement my current job as a Dental Assistant. Hopefully I can sit or walk once or twice a week if that is all possible. I have a but friend Jack Russell mix who loves people and other dogs, she does zooms in the fenced in yard and has his own secure space downstairs if necessary.

Immediately, Alex established a positive rapport with the dogs. Alex took the dogs on walks in Metroparks, to dog parks, as well as to the dog beach in Stow, OH. Alex is very responsible. He took the dogs to the groomer and to vet appoints. The dogs enjoyed spending time with Alex. Without reservation, I would highly recommend Alex as a pet caregiver.”
