Caring Teacher Loves All Animals
Hello! I am Marie an experienced teacher who loves animals and helping others. I was a special education teacher for 12 years, and now I use those skills to be a caregiver who is observant and tries to safely include each dog in our small group. I've also taught adults to speak English. (I'm fluent in Spanish and familiar with several other languages.) On a typical day, my spouse Jorge or I am home about 20-23 hours as this both of our full-time jobs. Currently, we own 3 dogs. I also have experience owning cats and snakes. We both thoroughly enjoy helping others, but what sets me apart is my experience in observing and caring for a wide variety of children and adults. My knowledge and experience in education help me to ethically and efficiently care for pets. Also, even if it says I'm unavailable, please message me, especially if it's for drop ins. Rover's method for showing whether or not I'm available confuses me.

Marie and Jorge were extremely attentive, communicative and kind throughout all the visits with my cat Sorrel- providing a lot of photos for each visit. They accomodated a lot of special requests for my kitty with much compassion, and assured me while I was away. I am very grateful they agreed to help with my stay and were able to care for my cat. Thank you both very much!
I messaged Marie for a last minute booking and she responded quickly and was able to arrange her schedule to accommodate me. She sent me lots of updates and photos and remained in contact during the entire time. We were very happy with everything and will definitely book again :) Thank you Marie and Jorge.

Harmonogram
On a typical day, Jorge and/or I are home about 20-23 hours. Caring for dogs, giving them appropriate food, medicine, exercise, and stimulus for their individual needs is a full time job for both of us.

Safety is the absolute #1 priority. Period. Every decision we make is based on the physical and emotional safety of each animal and is informed by my extensive experience as a dog owner and as a teacher.

Any dogs that come play with us enjoy the our 1 acre fenced backyard with room to run and chase full speed, play fetch, lie in the sun, etc. We specially designed the fenced area to invite clients in to see the area where the dogs are or go through the gate and participate if desired.
