About: I grew up with two dogs, Lucy and Tula, and I love them so very much! I had to help walk, feed, and play with them all of the time. They have very different personalities, so I am used to the high energy, crazy pups, as well as the more timid ones that may need to warm up to me for a little bit! Our family now has adopted a new little mixed puppy named Jack who is absolutely filled with energy and excitement all of the time. I am currently a college student, so I have classes mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is fairly flexible and I can walk your pups when I'm not in class! I can walk your dogs around your neighborhood or somewhere else in town, whatever works best. I'm looking forward to spending time with your furry friends, whether it is just playing with them or walking them!
About: I have taken care of all sorts of pets since I was a kid, but dogs and cats are what I am most used to. I have experience walking dogs, dog sitting in others homes(overnight too), and some experience caring for cats(cousins and friends). I have 3 golden retrievers at home in NY ranging from ages 1-8 and I care about them SO much, so I always want to ensure their safety. I feed them, walk them, and have endless playtime with them. My goal is to always ensure your pets safety, just as I would for mine:) I’m currently a nursing student at the University of Delaware and I’m on the club soccer team at UD! There is a fenced in tennis court and park a quick 2 minute walk away that I would take the doggy day out dogs to! I have taken care of pets in the homes of family, friends, and clients. I ensure to go into the house with a calm manor and let the pet get used to me before I walk them, play, or feed them. About: We brought home our 1st puppy when our eldest daughter was 8 weeks old. Everything since then has been easy! Currently have an 8yr old Golden Retriever with a fenced in backyard. Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years. I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while. We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. I love to walk our dog & listen to books or podcasts.
About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. Brian has worked as a manager in the pet retail industry for over 30 years, in a variety of settings. He has had cats and dogs his entire life, as well as keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums and building large vivariums for tree frogs. He has experience volunteering in wildlife rehab as well as handling reptiles and raptors at Zoo America in Hershey. He worked as a licensed pet sitter for many years in his twenties. Tanya has worked at several zoos and small animal veterinarian clinics. She started out as a veterinary technician, which she loved doing for 11 years. She then transitioned to being a veterinary receptionist in 2017, moving her focus from purely pet care to client care as well. Attending a variety of pet care continuing education every year and owning several pets needing daily, weekly, and monthly medications, Tanya has a wide skill range allowing her to help you keep your pet feeling their best. We both work full time, but with differing hours, allowing for availability morning, noon, & night. Brian is an early riser, so early morning walks or medication administration would be easy to accommodate. We are more than happy to follow whatever instructions you might have when visiting & caring for your pets in your home. We are open to having some exotics, or very low key dogs, in our own home for boarding. We do have six cats that run our house, so whoever is staying with us would need to get along with them.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. I genuinely love being outside, exploring new areas, and having a furry companion along for the adventure. I've also worked with a rescue, so I'm comfortable handling nervous, high-energy, or special-needs dogs and helping them feel safe. I’m available for boarding, walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays throughout the week and weekends. I have a big fenced in yard with two loving dogs at home, they can play all day with lots of energy. I have reliable transportation and am able to give shots, meditation and accompany to any of your dogs needs.
About: I have taken care of many animals and give the best care I can while sharing pictures and updates to the owner. I can work with food motivated animals to do simple tricks. I am starting college shortly but I still will dedicate as much time as I can to taking care of animals. Breaks and days I don't have classes will be for anyone needing pet care! I have a car and can go to clients' houses and take care of their pets, as I have done often for friends and neighbors. I have a partially fenced yard for leashed play. I am in a house under construction but the top floor is finished and houses my two kittens. Calmer dogs would be better if coming into my house, otherwise I am able to care for any size or personality in the owners house.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
