About: I've had dogs since I was a child. Mostly larger breeds, but enjoy all dogs! I have personal experience with senior and reactive dogs. I've taken care of pets for friends and family on many occasions. I enjoy taking a stroll with a doggo and making sure they are happy! I have availability on most evenings, typically between 4 and 9pm. I am also available on weekends, with more flexibility on times. Early weekday mornings can be arranged if needed. Making sure pets are happy and healthy is important to me. I'm happy to follow pet parent instructions and treat your four legged family member as my own!

About: I’ve fostered 11 dogs in my adult life in addition to owning two of my own. I’ve had up to 5 dogs living with me at a time and am one to embrace the chaos! Whether I’m staying with your dog overnight or just dropping by for a visit with them, I can help with potty training, socialization, and even teaching your dog basic commands like sit, down, and stay. My 5 year old mutt is a Canine Good Citizen so I know a little about best practices with training. I’m a firm believer in science backed, positive reinforcement only methods so your dog will never be yelled at, dominated, or made fearful under my care. If I’m walking your dog I’m not intimidated by poor leash manners and am happy to help work on them during our walks! No matter your needs, I’m here to help! I work from home 4 days a week, only going to the office on Thursdays. I’m available to help out anytime I’m not in the office. If your dog can be left alone on Thursdays from 8am-4:30pm I’m even available to help on Thursdays. I have two dogs who love other dogs in my home who would be available to help with socializing your dog. I’m a big believer in science based, positive reinforcement training only. Your dog will never be yelled at, dominated, or made fearful when under my care. My 5 year old mutt is very confident and great with showing other dogs (specifically puppies) the ropes.

In high school, I worked at a local boarding and day care facility in my hometown in New York, helping care for both dogs and cats. I’ve also watched pets for family and friends over the years, gaining experience with all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m a teacher, so during the summer I have lots of availability and spend a lot of time at home with family, friends, and my own dog. During the school year, my availability is a bit more limited. I’m happy to customize care based on your dog’s needs, including limiting activity to one level if that’s best for them. If your dog is used to a crate, I can include that to help them feel comfortable and secure. Daily walks are part of the routine to keep your dog active and engaged. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I always keep dogs on a leash to ensure their safety while outside. We also have one friendly dog at home who’s great company and would love to keep your fur baby company too.
