“Celia went above and beyond doing a few overnight stays taking care of my senior cat. She is a joy to be around and also cooked us a meal for when we got home. Thank you so much, you are appreciated!”

About: Hello! I have always loved taking care of animals, I have pet sat recently for my cousin, I used to pet sit for my neighbor before I moved, I’ve taken care of my own pets since I was a kid, and I’m experienced with both cats and dogs! I do work, but I have days off, and I don’t always work all day, I’ll know my schedule ahead of time, so I’d be be transparent with my availability. I’m always off on weekends though! Of course I’d talk to you about the pets routine, whether it be feeding or even bathroom times depending on your animal, and from there I’d make sure all the requirements are met! I’d play, and of course make sure I supervise your pet! I’ll make sure to follow any rules owners may have!
“Very flexible and thoughtful for our last minute puppy sitting request! She was really knowledgeable about puppies and made us feel very comfortable leaving our 3 month old! Benson took to her immediately and had the best time. Will book again.”
About: Discount code for new clients: https://www.rover.com/sit/sabriw14718 Located on a 5 acre beautiful land that’s the best vacation spot for your pup! Need to run? We have the space completely fenced off! Have a curious escape artist? We have options for fully enclosed safe outside time (yard section with high fences, a fully enclosed catio, etc). I am passionate to provide dog boarding that’s like a second home to those that don’t want their dogs stuck in metal crates like typical boarding goes for dogs at vets, groomers, or boarding facilities. Here your dog will be happy to see us, and eager to come back! I have one crate only that is provided if needed, but I am happy to use a crate you bring if your dog is crate trained for night time. If not, then they will be free to roam and choose a couch to sleep on or snuggle with us in the bed. I have cared for a large variety of animals personally and professionally over the course of my entire life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Life is better with animals and I want to share the love and help wherever needed! I am someone that has fostered/rescued and returned any lost pets I pass by, I just can’t drive by without trying to do something. Here all animals are part of the family. Professionally: -PetSmart Dog Trainer -Crazy Horse Equine Vet Assistant -USEF Equine Technician -neighborhood pet sitting & pet care -trained certified therapy dogs through Therapy Dogs International I care for cats, dogs, chickens, and horses daily. I am a stay at home parent and that provides me with a very flexible schedule I am happy to include your pet in! I stay home with my animals, kids, and work on homesteading around the house all day. Pet care is part of my daily life the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I care for others pets as if they were my own, whether that’s a dog drop in, a walk, or dog boarding. Full of love, fun, and snuggles!
“So GREAT! Our hyper lab/husky mix was calm and content when we came home after 5 days away. Better yet, our home was SPOTLESS. We already have Charlene on the books for our next planned trip away from hom.”

About: I’m a kind, passionate and resourceful dog lover who grew up with dogs — I have worked with them my whole life. My own dog, a 105-pound Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, is my best buddy. We love to hike in different areas, going out twice a week or more, and sometimes bring along other clients’ dogs as well. At home we lounge with my cats, enjoying their nature and inherent laziness. Having worked in the past as a vet assistant in emergency animal medicine, I know how to discover each pup’s individual personality by paying attention to their behavioral cues. Their unconditional love and devotion lets me know that I’ve done my job (and it’s a great perk)! Working with and finding fur-ever homes for many kinds of dogs has taught me patience and to take the time to enjoy all the small stuff. I would love to grow my business by assisting clients with their dog’s walking needs or taking care of those sweet, four-legged babies while their people are away.
“We had a wonderful experience with Brittany as always! She was incredibly accommodating, even able to accept our last-minute request without any hesitation. Our dogs were happy and well-cared for upon our return, and it’s clear she provides excellent service every time. We highly recommend Brittany to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Brittany, for your outstanding service!”

She house sits for us and even sleeps with our “girls” on the bed. She goes above and beyond so we always know we come home to happy doggies and a clean and well kept home! 5 stars!!!!”

About: I've been an avid animal lover for most of my life. I've had the amazing experience of dog sitting for 4 awesome dogs and taking care of my own dog Max for 11 amazing years. I've worked with dogs old and young (4-11 years of age), big and small (12-110 pounds). Although I haven't been given a chance to petsit for cats yet, I would love to be given an opportunity. I've loved every experience I've had with these amazing pets and hope to extend the same courtesy to your furry family members. I am currently a contract worker so my schedule is pretty free Monday-Friday whatever time of day. I am also available for whatever weekends you see open in my calender. My calendar is currently updated through August of 2026. I am very meticulous when it comes to following whatever rules and regulations pet parents put in place. I make it my goal to provide the best experience for the owners piece of mind on the quality of care for their fur babies.

About: I love animals and would love to help you watch yours if you're out or take them on walks for you! I had a German-Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador mix for 11 years, he passed away recently but brought years of joy and experience with a highly-energetic dog. I recently got my first cat, and I have lived with several other dogs and cats. I do not have any professional experience grooming or dealing with animals, but I am more than willing to help out with letting dogs out, taking them on walks, etc. I definitely have plenty of experience walking dogs because of my little guy. I look forward to hearing from you soon! I currently have quite open availability, almost any day and time should work with some notice, and I will try to make it work regardless. I have a fenced-in yard where a dog can go outside/play fetch. I have 1 cat, but he can be kept in a separate area of the house if preferred.
“Daniella did a pretty good job during her 3 day stay. She took care of Mochi, Buddy and Zoey and treated our dogs like her own. She also followed all instructions on feeding time, taking our dogs in the backyard and taking the time to spend time with them. I was also impressed when she also cleaned our kitchen counter tops, wiping down the cabinet doors and she even swept/ mop the floor and threw the garbage. That's what you call going up and beyond her job duties! We ask her to just take care or our dogs and she did more than that. I would highly recommend her to our family and friends! We also going to book her this coming December because we know we can count on her.”

About: 🐾 ABOUT MY CARE I've loved dogs my whole life, and opening my home to care for them has become one of the most rewarding parts of my week. I believe pet care should be built on trust, comfort, consistency and clear communication. 🏡 HOME SETUP Your dog will enjoy a calm, structured home environment with supervised care, regular potty breaks, photo updates, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have three friendly pugs at home and experience caring for small, medium and select large dogs. 🛡️ SAFETY & STRUCTURE I introduce dogs slowly, monitor their behavior closely, and separate dogs when needed. Feeding is done separately to help prevent food guarding, upset stomachs, or accidental sharing. 🐶⭐️ BEST FIT For boarding in my home, I'm best suited for small to medium dogs and select larger dogs only when the fit is right. For larger dogs I am also happy to provide house sitting, drop-ins, or care in the owner's home. 💤🌙 SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS My home is kept comfortable year round so every pet can relax and sleep comfortably. Dogs can sleep in their crate, on their own bed, or in a designated sleeping area based on their routine and habits. 📸 Communication & Updates I send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and having a great time. 🐶🤝Meet & Greets Held at my home in Lathrop by appointment, preferably mornings or late evenings. 🌅🚗🌙Drop-Off & Pickup My preferred drop-off and pickup windows are 8:00–10:00 AM or 8:00–10:00 PM. I’m happy to coordinate within those windows whenever possible so each pet has a smooth, calm transition. Flexible, open schedule, your pet gets my full attention and care, morning to night. I work from home so fully committed to making your pets stay as amazing as possible! Your dogs and animals will be safe, loved, and treated like family in a clean, pet friendly home. I follow your pet’s routine closely and provide constant supervision and affection.
About: Pet Care is important! I can help with your pets needs as your away from home whether on vacation or at work for long hours,I can stop by to help! I add more water & food, play/entertain, take cat outside for an outdoor break, or take your dog on W-A-L-Ks. I offer drop ins / dog walks during the week and overnight stay from Fri-Mon. I provided pet care services for over 10 years and met incredible pets ranging from: your traditional pets(dogs, cats, fish), exotic pets( Asian water monitor Lizard, birds), farm animals (bunnies, chickens, etc.) As a dedicated pet sitter, my daily and weekly routine revolves around ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets under my care. Here's an overview of how pet care fits into my schedule: Daily Routine: Morning Check-ins: I start the day by visiting each pet on time. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, and spending quality time with them for play and companionship. Midday Breaks: For clients who prefer midday check-ins, I make sure to visit again to offer bathroom breaks, playtime, and any necessary medications. Afternoon Activities: In the afternoon, I engage pets in activities suitable for their energy levels, whether it's a walk, interactive play, or simply some cuddle time. Evening Check-ins: The evening routine involves another round of feeding, ensuring their comfort, and spending time with them before bedtime. 1.Dedicated Pet Space: Pets have access to a dedicated and comfortable space in my home, ensuring they have their own area to relax, sleep, and play. This space is designed to make them feel secure and at home. Dogs in my care will also have the opportunity to go outside every hour for approximately 30 minutes, where they can enjoy the fresh air and outdoor environment. During this time, they will be closely monitored to ensure their safety and well-being. 2.Regular Exercise: Pets staying with me enjoy regular exercise routines, including walks, playtime, and access to a secure outdoor area. 3.Social Interaction: Pets are not only included in my daily activities but also have social time with the residents of the home, including my own friendly dogs. My four dogs, spanning different ages, are consistently supervised during play sessions to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. 4.Feeding Schedule: I maintain a consistent feeding schedule based on the pet's dietary needs and preferences, following any specific instructions provided by the owner. 5.Grooming and Hygiene: Basic grooming activities such as brushing are included in the care routine. Please note that nail trimming is not offered. However, I do provide a deep clean wash and dry for an additional $15 charge, ensuring your pet receives a thorough grooming experience. 6.Health Monitoring: I pay close attention to the pet's health and behavior, promptly addressing any concerns and providing necessary medications or veterinary care.
About: I've always had dogs and crate trained my dogs. I know how to train basic commands but nothing really beyond that. I do love playing with dogs and also relaxing with them as well. I do work full time but I do work from home most of the week. So my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part. I have a fenced yard, and 4 friendly dogs. We do have 2 cats but they stay outside as they don't like our dogs. I make sure the the pet I babysit is comfortable and listen to instructions on the owners requests.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 490 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Eugene. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eugene walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eugene maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eugene choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eugene. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
