“Alex was super communicative before, during, and after Jack’s daycare visit. He made Jack feel very comfortable when we arrived and was attentive to any extra care he’d need as a senior dog. Jack will be back!”

“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

“Our miniature poodle came home happy and exercised from his fun day with Hanna and her pups. We enjoyed the pics Hanna sent us too and would definitely book with Hanna again.”

“This was our first time sending our puppy to day care and Laura put us at ease! She let us bring our puppy to her house before we committed to see if it was a good fit. Our puppy Juneau already loves going there and has made so many doggy friends. Laura sends us updates throughout the day and we really appreciate how much outdoor time they get to have. We highly recommend Laura!”

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

About: A loving indoor environment, hands-on care in a country setting with fresh air available and plenty of space. I am home all day except for quick errands I have raised and trained Brittany spaniels, Golden retrievers, and Siberian huskies. An accomplished trainer, devoted to animals, I am retired, a former farmer living in a quiet, relaxed home. I have ample time for walks, playtime, and rest. The yard is cleaned daily. I am long-time dog owner and trainer (and cat owner) who can handle any breed or any sized dog, small, medium, large, or bigger, offering long walks with ample room for exercise and play ...

“Love how flexible they are. This my 6 time booking with them for, I have used them for day car, and dog boarding. Both times lil bear seems to love it there he goes right in, he was introduced slowly to each dog and I never am worried when he is there.”

“Ashley was so sweet with Anchovy and calmed his separation anxiety with a walk. Her dog Wally is wonderful, too. I am so grateful for a lovely, safe, and peaceful place for Anchovy to hang out for the day. Ashley is the best and we look forward to booking with her again on our next visit to Ithaca. :)”

“Destiny was a gem! She took care of my puppy with only a few days notice. He was so happy and well cared for during his stay. I will definitely use her services again!”

About: I have been lucky enough to spend time with dogs of a range of ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a slower pace and a gentle touch. I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs, just let me know! I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and I always move at their pace. I also pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can respond quickly if something seem off. But most importantly, I make sure that they're safe and happy, while waiting for their favorite person to come back to them. Caring for the fluffy angels is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize in my daily life. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home, which means I can dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship without rushing. Whether I'm welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 3 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 2 year old Irish terrier mix who ha unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

“Kyle took excellent care of my elderly Maltese, Sammy. It was a relief that he was able to take care of Sammy on short notice and give my skittish dog a calm place to stay. He always responded quickly to messages and sent me a picture of Sammy each day. I would happily let him watch Sammy again if we come back to Ithaca.”

Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! I currently work remotely, and plan on continuing this. I have open availability. For Drop off or pick up my hours are between 8am - 8pm. I am also available most weekends! I want any pet at my home feel safe secure and happy. I love to curl up with pets, watch a good show. Or go out into the yard and play games. I also would with permission from the pet parents to go on long walks. I miss having fuzzies and would give them all my heart and soul.

“Bianca was absolutely amazing! We really couldn’t have asked for more. She was so flexible and kind to our dog, Mocha. She played with our dog and did training sessions with her. She also has a fun, playful dog, Bear! Bianca also sent us updates about Mocha as well as super cute videos and pictures. We would definitely go with Bianca in the future, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fun and safe place for their dog to stay!!”

About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!

Darlene C.Star Sitter
“Darlene is amazing with pets. She loves, cares, provides and trains all of her animals. Therefore, they are like kids and certainly a part of the family. Her family has always included a dog. They have a beautiful backyard, lots of toys and make going out for walks part of their routine. Their animals are always so happy to see company come and with a little “reminder” command, are very good greeter’s. Their dog does very well with other people, children and other dogs of various breeds and sizes. I would highly recommend Darlene and her family to care for a dog They have tons of love and experience!”

Yuting D.
“I was out of town for a week and needed someone reliable to walk my Akita (Thunder). Yuting was an amazing dog walker! I love Thunder but to be honest he is a badass who loves to jump when he sees people or other dogs he doesn't like. Yuting handled him with great care and professionalism. She took extra precautions to ensure Thunder's (and others) safety and comfort. She is clearly experienced with handling large, energetic dogs. The other dog walker we worked with before didn't walk Thunder enough so during that time he was always irritable at home. Yuting also sent me regular updates like photos and messages. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing Thunder was in good hands. I would recommend Yuting for anyone needing a trustworthy and skilled dog walker!”

Brittany H.
“Yes I have known Brittany all my life and she is such a caring and compassionate person. Brittany has cared for any animals and you hear nothing but compliments from the owners of dogs she has watched! You couldn't find a better person to care for your dogs in my opinion! She really is the BEST!”

Kelly H.

“My dog Storm is very happy about his doggy daycare with Kelly and when I say her name to him he jumps with joy. He will be going back again she took excellent care of him.”

“Mary is amazing with animals! She is my go-to dog sitter when I am away. I have two golden retrievers and they are so happy to see Mary and stay with her - it is like they are going on vacation too. She truly shows my boys love, kindness and care. My golden are seniors and I trust Mary to handle any medical needs that come up when she is watching them. Mary is the best!”
