About: My house has always been a home to a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to tortoises, bunnies, fish, and hamsters. Growing up surrounded by them means caring for animals has become a natural part of my life, and I developed a deep love for them early on. I am currently working part-time as an intern at ASU, and hours are very flexible, so I can be available to care for your pets whenever needed! I would feed them on schedule and play with them for hours. I would follow the exact instructions given and make sure to give them their medicine on time if necessary.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I love greeting them with excitement, giving them attention, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. In our home, pets are supervised and can be safely crated or given their own quiet room if needed for rest, comfort, or separation. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and a dog door so pets can move in and out comfortably throughout the day. We do have a pool that is not fenced, so I make sure dogs are monitored outside and will always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor access and supervision. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, exercised, and loved.

“Sara was amazing with my boy, Nox. Despite needing to make a few modifications to the booking because of unexpected work plans, I am grateful Sara was able to accomodate my schedule changes. She had great communication and would update me with photos regularly. It gave me total piece of mind that my dog was in good hands. I'd be happy work with Sara again in the future.”

“Vicki was great with my very shy dog. She came for a meet and greet to make sure my dog would recognize her. She was communicative and punctual, and I appreciated the picture she included. I highly recommend her and plan on using her again!”

“I can’t begin to explain how nice it is to have found a dog sitter I trust. Kelly was professional and adhered to all of my specific requirements I have for my pups- she was communicative (big need for me) and safe. I sometimes have a stray dogs in the neighborhood and need her to stay alert and go in the opposite direction or even pick up my dog if safety becomes an issue. She alerted me of the stray and prioritized my dog’s safety. Amazing!”

About: Calm, Low-Dog Home with Personalized Care Hi I'm Nicole! I’m an experienced dog foster mom with 38+ years of pet care experience, specializing in dogs who need a little extra patience, attention, or understanding. What makes our home different: -No dogs + no kids in the home Your dog gets undivided attention in a calm, low-stress environment—perfect for anxious, reactive, or older dogs. -Low capacity = high care I only take up to 3 dogs at a time, so your dog isn’t lost in a crowd. Every dog gets the attention, love, and support they deserve. -Solo stays available If your dog doesn’t do well with others, I can accommodate solo bookings for a more comfortable experience. -Safe, secure space We have a fully enclosed 8-ft cinder block yard with a doggy door so dogs can go in and out freely (or we can support structured potty training if needed). -Experienced with all temperaments I’ve worked with dogs who have experienced trauma, fear, or abuse, and I meet every dog with patience and care. -Flexible, always-home care I work from home and run my own businesses, so your dog is rarely left alone and gets consistent supervision and companionship. Daily updates You’ll receive photos/videos every day so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and loved. Extra peace of mind I hold a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona), meaning I’ve passed a rigorous background check for safety and trust. Our neighborhood maintains safe streets adequate for dog walking and we are trained in safe dog walking skills.
“I have had a great experience with Stephenie. She is completely understanding of my weird unexpected schedule changes and flexible. I have worked on Rover before and the first experience I had with someone was wishy washy so I was concerned about my 2nd but she has absolutely proved me wrong. Very mature to work with.”

About: I am a very patient, compassionate animal lover with more than 25 years of personal pet ownership and sitting experience (both dogs & cats). I have 10 years of rescue engagement where I fostered 100+ animals that included care for sick, injured, scared, and skittish animals. I fed, walked, groomed, healed/trained the animals and provided medication as well as support for vet visits. I evaluated potential adopters and coordinated placements into the most ideal permanent homes. I also have experience (and a very big soft spot) for senior and disabled animals that need additional care and support. I am comfortable with providing required medication such as topicals, eye drops, oral chemo, CBD, etc., and any care that requires diapers, wheelchairs or other types of medical support. I recently moved to Arizona from Washington to be closer to aging parents. I do not currently work and my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to weekends and holidays, sitting at my place or at the clients home. I do occassionally travel but that will be noted on the Rover calendar as needed. The safety and security of the animal and the clients home is priority #1 for me. I have high situational awareness (at home or in public spaces) that is always focused on the well being of the pet. I currently have one Chiweenie that lives elsewhere, so pets staying at my house would have full run of the kitchen, living room and bedroom (with them never out of sight). There is access to a fully fenced yard from both the living room and the bedroom. They are welcome to sit on the couch if that is their preference. Also, sharing the bed here is totally fine. The typical home ambience is quiet and calm.
About: I have had the ability to have 2 small shelter rescue dogs, Neptune and Apollo. Neptune is no longer with us, but he and Apollo were both well trained and loved life. I have grown up around dogs and dog sat for several family members and friends in the past. I will make sure your dog is having fun and loving life when they are with me. I am currently a college student and have a very flexible schedual with most afternoon and evenings available along with the weekends. I do attend church for 2 hours on Sunday, but other than that I can be with your pet all weekend long. I check water bowls every hour and set alarms on my phone to make sure I never miss feeding time or medication. I play with your pets and take them on long walks when it is safe temperature wise to do so. Any medical concern will be run by the pet parent first unless a dire emergency arises, in which I will need preference(s) for vet(s) in the area listed ahead of time.

“Danielle was awesome with my dog during the month that she walked him. She responded to my messages right away and set up a meet-and-greet so we could talk with her in person. My dog seemed to love her during the meet-and-greet. She sent us updates every day that included pictures and a map of where she walked him and how far the walk was. I would definitely recommend Danielle! ?”

“My dog liked her very much, because she was so attentive to her. She not only walked her but she watched her. She tried to figure out how best to relate to her. I was very impressed. Kayla was dependable, punctual, and enthusiastic. I highly recommend her.”

About: When I was a little kid, I dreamed of living on a farm and caring for all the animals! As a lifelong animal lover, I've always had pets around. Growing up, my family had a total of five dogs and five cats (thankfully not all at the same time or in the same household LOL), so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while they traveled, and two years ago I finally got my first dog as an adult. What a joy it has been to have her in my life! Since she came from the streets with no known background, I dove headfirst into learning about dog behavior and training so I could give her the best life possible. I have become incredibly interested in animal behavior and have spent the last few years learning about dog communication, training methods, and behavior modification. I've completed two online courses through Leerburg University: "Training Dogs with Food" by Ed Frawley and "Developing a Relationship with Your Dog" by Michael Ellis, in addition to spending countless hours learning from respected trainers via YouTube and other educational resources. I'm very familiar with concepts such as marker training, classical and operant conditioning, leash-pressure training, loose-leash walking, and more. While I am not a professional dog trainer, I have seriously considered pursuing it as a career and have had great success applying these methods with my own dogs. I believe this knowledge helps me better understand and care for pets of all personalities, including those who may be shy, anxious, reactive, or have other behavioral challenges. That said, I want to be clear that I would never attempt to train your pet or change any behaviors without your permission. I would never overstep those boundaries. However, I'm always happy to discuss any behavioral concerns you may have and, if you'd like, support any training goals you're already working on. Above all, my goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, understood, and well cared for while you're away. Thank you for your consideration—I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work a few evening shifts each week (3–11 PM), so I’m consistently available mornings and midday. For house-sitting, I’m available anytime for pets that are comfortable being alone during those hours. If your pet needs full-time companionship, I can also arrange days off with about one week’s notice. Accountability is crucial with pets, especially for those with behavioral issues! I am committed to keeping a watchful eye on your pets while in the home, taking them out for regular potty breaks and exercise, and maintaining their usual schedule. I also have a fur-baby of my own- a loving and friendly dog, and if your dog would benefit from a companion to play or socialize with, I'd love to bring her along as well. Of course only with your permission and proper introductions.
“MacKenzie was great! She was contacted in an emergency situation as I was out of town and my original sitter never arrived leaving my dog unattended for nearly 15hrs. She was very responsive, took great care of my boy and sent pictures when she arrived! I would recommend and will reach out in the future! Thanks again! ❤️”

Kayla was great with my dog. Always showed up on time and made sure he had nice long walks. She even went above and beyond to continue walking him even when it started to lightly rain ( she even messaged me to make sure it was ok first). I trust her completely with my dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nice, affordable, and responsible dog walker!!

Alan has been my regular dog walker for over a year now and I would recommend him to anyone. My dog loves him, and he gives detailed reports after every walk, which I appreciate so much. He has really good attention to detail and I trust him to make sure my dog is safe and happy during their evening walks.

I booked Daniel to take my 18 month old pitbull Maggie for daily walks. We have finished our first week and everything went splendidly. We are working on desensitizing Maggie to normal every day. Sounds and Daniel has been a great help in understanding the mission and moving towards success, I have him booked on an ongoing basis. Maggie is becoming more comfortable with him and I feel we will ultimately reach our goal.

Michelle was fantastic! It was my big puppy’s first time alone, and she adapted the walking schedule to help him feel comfortable, playing with him first and quickly earning his trust. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Emily is by far our first choice when we needed a dog walker. She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy, and will update me when I'm out of town which is always comforting. I love how Emily pays attention to detail. I would highly recommend Emily and her pet sitting services to all my friends and family.
