About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to care for their pets for decades, and as a dog mom myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else's care. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Taylor, came to us at just 8 weeks old with Parvo. Caring for her around the clock until she fully recovered taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important it is to notice the little things that tell you how a pet is feeling. She's now a healthy, happy five yr old who loves other animals. I work remotely from the main living area of the home, so pets are rarely alone. My workspace allows me to keep an eye on them throughout the day and easily step outside for potty breaks, playtime, or simply some fresh air and companionship between meetings. They also can freely use the doggy doors to the yard. Whether I'm caring for energetic puppies, senior dogs, or those who simply miss their family, I follow their routines closely, provide lots of affection and enrichment, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pets and your home are in caring, dependable hands. I work remotely Monday through Friday, so pets in my care enjoy companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone while I'm at work. My desk is set up in the main living area, which means I'm naturally where pets like to spend their time. About: I have had the ability to have 2 small shelter rescue dogs, Neptune and Apollo. Neptune is no longer with us, but he and Apollo were both well trained and loved life. I have grown up around dogs and dog sat for several family members and friends in the past. I will make sure your dog is having fun and loving life when they are with me. I am currently a college student and have a very flexible schedual with most afternoon and evenings available along with the weekends. I do attend church for 2 hours on Sunday, but other than that I can be with your pet all weekend long. I check water bowls every hour and set alarms on my phone to make sure I never miss feeding time or medication. I play with your pets and take them on long walks when it is safe temperature wise to do so. Any medical concern will be run by the pet parent first unless a dire emergency arises, in which I will need preference(s) for vet(s) in the area listed ahead of time.

I have always loved animals a lot. I have experience taking care of dogs as small as a Chihuahua to as big as a Great Dane. I currently do not have any pets. In the past 2 years I have lost my cats who I had for 16 and 18 years. Also in the past I have owned dogs, cats, parakeets, and beta fish. I promise to give them lots of love and attention! My kids are good around animals. They especially love cats and dogs! We make sure that they pet them gently. If the animal seems upset or irritated we make sure our kids do not pet them. I require a meet and greet before booking a request. I also would like to only watch dogs that are house trained and at least 2 years of age. I do watch 2 dogs at a time, but only if they are from the same household. I am a stay at home mom so most of my time is spent at home. My kids and I will give your fur baby plenty of attention. I have a gated patio and a fenced in side yard that wraps around to the back of the house. Your pet will be perfectly safe in my yard and at my house.

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. As an adult I opted for the ease of a cat companion. So I have never lived in a house without at least a dog or a cat. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. I have 10 years of rescue engagement where I fostered 100+ animals that included care for sick, injured, scared, and skittish animals. I fed, walked, groomed, healed/trained the animals and provided medication as well as support for vet visits. I evaluated potential adopters and coordinated placements into the most ideal permanent homes. “This was our first time using rover so we were pretty nervous about leaving our fur babies with someone for a couple days but we are glad we did! Susan and Peter are so nice and took such great care of our dogs, and they updated us with photos and videos of our dogs! While we were on a vacation so were they. By the photos and picking them up you most definitely could tell the dogs had a good time which made me feel comfortable knowing that they were in good hands while we were away. We definitely will be booking again! Thank you so much Susan and Peter we appreciate you guys for taking such good care of our babies.”

“I’ve had amazing experience with Huaqing. My cat is very shy and scared of people. Huaqing took great care and was accommodating to all my requests! She provided daily updates with pictures even when my cat gave hard time while taking them. I felt quite reassured on my trip knowing my cat is at safe place. She sent my cat off home with extra treats and toys and a handwritten card. It’s a 10/10 experience and I would love to board my cat with Huaqing again. Thank you for being an awesome sitter!”
