About: Hi! I'm Caroline, and I'm currently a sophomore at UC Santa Barbara who will be home in Davis over the summer! I've grown up with 2 dogs, but I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. About: I have multiple years experience working in dog boarding facilities, as well as small animal veterinary clinics. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and welfare, and am able to confidently care for many different types of personalities. I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. I commute from Esparto to Davis/Woodland daily and am easily able to make stops anywhere near this commute. I believe in keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and following given instructions as closely as possible. I operate under the principle that as a sitter, I should do everything (and more) for someone else’s pet that I would expect a sitter to do for my own pets.

I’m currently working full time at a farm animal sanctuary and have the flexibility to walk or drop in on your pup between 6a-11a and from 9p-overnight as needed I have a 1bed apartment and a friendly golden that is trained to be around reactive dogs. I love to visit nearby parks and green belts, so rest assured your pet will have the sniff of a lifetime!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with nearly 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve owned a Chihuahua, Beagle, and currently a dog mom to a 5 year old pitbull! So I’m comfortable with all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I’ve also dog sat for friends and family, providing dependable, loving care every time. I am available Saturday-Tuesday full time. I am currently working Wednesday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, With a small window of availability for short 30min walk on my lunches between 12pm-12:30pm. I am available on my workdays anytime before 730am and anytime after 4pm! In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things tidy while giving your pet consistent care and companionship. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well taken care of. During walks and visits, I focus on safety, using secure leashes and staying aware of surroundings, while also making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and energy level, whether they need active play or a slower, more relaxed pace.

“I took an extended/long-distance trip in December and this was the first trip I've ever taken without my cat. I was quite anxious to leave him home alone, especially with the recent passing of his cat sibling. I booked drop-in visits with Rachel and she was great! I really appreciated the time that she spent with my cat. I could tell that she was very attentive and caring toward him. I also loved the selfies/pictures she sent during most of the drop-in visits. I could tell that he was happy having a visitor! Rachel also offered to drop-in on an additional day if my flight was cancelled, which was very kind. About: I have had pets my whole life and taken care of other people’s pets since I was a kid. My favorite thing to do was hang out in the pet store. I probably drove them nuts. I am home all day and would love to make a job out of caring for your pets. My availability is open at this time. I have a fenced yard, Pets are free to go in and out during the day and evening, I prefer to crate at night time, but it’s not a hard no for them to sleep out.

We scheduled to have them drop in on her in our back yard and the weather got really hot while we were away. They paid her an extra visit to make sure she was taken care of and were able to arrange a solution to keep her inside and out of the heat.
