“Elizabeth did an excellent job caring for my two cats over a long weekend. She was punctual, kind, and quick to learn my cats' specific routines. I have one cat who is quite shy and typically hides from visitors (even family members who visit regularly), but Elizabeth managed to earn his trust on the very first visit. My other cat requires an inhaler twice a day and can be quite squirmy, but Elizabeth administered the dosages without any issues. Elizabeth sent updates after every drop-in visit, complete with cute photos. She even watered my flowers outside. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets and my home were in good hands while I was away.”

About: I’ve always grown up and helped take care of family pets. I had mostly big dogs growing up. There’s no breeds that I’m really scared of or anything like that. I currently have two pets now one is a seven month Alaskan malamute and one is a one year-old domestic short hair. I only work two days a week and my job is pretty flexible so I’ll have really any time to be able to give your dog or cat all the love and attention that they need I will do what the pet parent says to do on guidance for the pet. I have had experience with kennel training lease training all of that if you have a fenced in yard, I’ll it’ll be better.

After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. About: I have been taking care of friends and families pets since I was 16. Taking care of their animals while they are on vacation. I was responsive for feeding, walking, taking them out to use the bathroom, playing with them and caring for them while their parents were away. I’m a teacher. During the school year I’m available every day, but all day on Saturday's and Sunday's. In the summer time my availability is wide open! I live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of roads and paths for walking around to get plenty of exercise. We have an open basement for playing and a dog of our own they can have fun with!

About: I grew up with parents as dog breeders. At a young age, I learned how to take care of animals. I have lots of experience with taking care of animals. I am currently a graduate student. I will be at school during the day but have breaks to care for animals. I am free in the evenings and weekends. I will come to your house and care for your animals. The only days I have limited availability are Tuesdays and Thursdays, as I spend time with family on those days. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to work around your pet’s routine and needs. My husband also works a varied schedule, so in the rare event that I’m unexpectedly unavailable, he can usually step in to help with something simple like letting your pup outside or making sure your pet is fed. We’re a team and want to make sure your fur babies are cared for and never left without what they need! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and well-being will always be our top priority. About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. I make the pets my priority when I am caring for them and I watch their behaviors so I can catch anything out of the ordinary. I follow feeding directions and potty schedules.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
