“Gilad stayed with Cindy for the first time today and had a wonderful time; he didn’t want to leave! I’m so grateful for her warmth and attentiveness to him and he will be back for more visits.”

“Our Deuce was rescued from an abusive situation nearly two years ago. He has learned to trust our family members, but can be very leery of others. I work from home and Deuce has grown accustomed to my presence and is comforted by it; he has a fair amount of anxiety when I am not around. We recently found the need to travel to the Lancaster area for an event. We did not have a good option at home for the three days/two nights we would be gone as Deuce’s normal sitters (family) would also be attending the event in Lancaster. So, I scoured Rover.com for sitters in the Lancaster area that I felt Deuce might feel the most comfortable with for the 8 hours this past Sunday that we would need someone to watch him. After reading bio after bio, review after review, looking at photo after photo, I found one sitter - Susan - that I thought, “if I am going to be comfortable leaving Deuce with anyone, it is going to be this lady.” Well, let me tell you, Susan did not disappoint! Everything about our first introductions, communications, etc., made me comfortable with our choice, and most importantly, Deuce was comfortable with Susan too - I could tell from the various photos and messages she sent throughout the day. Deuce even hopped up on the couch and sat next to Susan - he only does that with immediate family members. She worked with all of his quirks, and let Deuce be Deuce all the while helping him to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. My only disappointment is that Susan does not live near our home town :D - but we for sure know who we will be contacting for sitting services should we find ourselves in the Lancaster area again!”

“Great sitters for our dog Meadow who tends to have a little separation anxiety. She felt very comfortable and at home there. I would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“The Best puppy sitter in town. Katya scooped up our fur baby in her arms and snuggled him so tenderly. She was so very kind and flexible. I highly recommend Katya and Frank . 🙂”

About: I am an animal lover that has been caring for dogs for over 10 years. I was a foster care provider for dogs for 4 years during high school. Fostering animals allowed me to gain experience with all sizes, types, ages, and needs of dogs. I was employed by a local pet store for 3 years in college. My family dog was put down in 2021 after 9 years with us. I now spend my free time raising service dogs from infancy until they are about 2 years old! Most recently, I adopted my soul dog, medically discharged service puppy Crush. She loves having friends over! I'll love your dog(s) just as much as I love mine. I can also care for other pets - cats, fish, small animals (reptiles, amphibians and small mammals) - with experience gained from my personal life and work. I work full time during the week but supplement those longer days with extra play, walks and mental stimulation to ensure your pup and mine get all they need to be happy and healthy! I am home full time on weekends. I am off in the summer and can provide full time daily care with small windows of needing to be away. I have plenty of gates and crates to help ensure your dog(s) safety and mine! Safety is my number one priority when it comes to our animals!

About: I grew up around all kinds of four legged friends! I have 6 years of experience working at a daycare/boarding kennel. I also have two of my own love bugs. We go on hikes just about everyday and I truly believe the more the merrier (as long as your pets are okay with that!) I am currently off for the summer. I work for a school fall-spring where my availability will go to evenings, Wednesdays and weekends. However, I would eventually like to become a full time sitter/walker. I have a large backyard with dog friendly neighbors on either side of us or plenty of space for cuddles on a cold or rainy day.

“Oh boy, Daniel was an amazing choice to care for our baby Finnegan. He was so kind and communicative on every level. We went to the Lancaster area as a day trip and from the initial contact, Daniel was thoughtful…..it was raining when we arrived and he graciously opened his garage so we could drop Finn off in a dry environment. He treated Finn so well, walked him, spent time with him and sent numerous pictures. Finn must have had a great time because he was exhausted and sleep all the way home. Thank you so much for everything. Hope to see you again, would highly recommend!”
