About: I’ve been taking care of all types of dogs for over 10 years. I have a very friendly German Shorthair Pointer who loves to play! I’ve trained many puppies who have all grown up to be well-balanced dogs. The last 8 years I have worked as a special education teacher and recently took a role at an outdoor school working part time. This change has freed up my afternoons and I would love to fill that time helping families take care of their animals! My husband works from home and I work part-time as a preschool teacher with plenty of time to play/walk/watch your dogs! We are free on the weekends, too. We love dogs of all ages and sizes. We already take care of our very friendly 4 year old dog so adding more dogs to the schedule is no problem! Ozzy is high energy but the friendliest dog! He loves all dogs, cats, and kids. He is happy to play and run but is also happy to leave other dogs alone if they don’t want to play with him. He is not pushy or aggressive at all. No resource guarding troubles or problems sharing toys or water bowls. I have a fully fenced yard with lots of room to run and play outside. A very friendly GSP to help socialize or burn energy. I am comfortable crating your dog if that’s part of their routine and comfortable feeding and administering medicine as well. Our day is structured to not only meet Ozzy’s (GSP) needs but maintain behavioral expectations as well. To ensure safety, when other dogs visit, I constantly watch their interactions to ensure good behavior/social skills and will intervene to administer breaks or corrections when necessary. The house has ample room to separate dogs if needed.

“Krista was easy to communicate with during the entire process. She was attentive and followed the instructions and scheduled to a T. We felt very much at ease during our trip knowing we could count on her. We will definitely be booking her in our future.”

I stick to their usual feeding, play, and bathroom schedules to reduce stress and keep them feeling at ease. I also respect your home by following any house rules and ensuring everything is in order while staying in your home. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pets, ensuring a smooth and stress free experience for everyone.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I enjoy my time feeding, walking, and entertaining even the most energetic dogs, I also have fun washing dogs. I am pretty much open anytime, as I have recently returned back to my hometown, and am looking after my mom. I am patient and flexible in my schedule. I will follow any requests filled out on a care sheet to a tee. I will also make sure any indoor/outdoor access is maintained and/or secured when needed for your pet.

I’m confident handling everything from crate training and potty schedules to administering medication and creating a calm, structured environment for older pets. Beyond experience, one of the biggest perks I offer is our 2-acre fully fenced yard. It gives dogs the freedom to run, sniff, and play safely. Whether that means high-energy zoomies or a peaceful stroll in the fresh air. It’s like their own private dog park, without the stress of crowded spaces or unpredictable environments. I keep routines consistent, provide updates during your time away, and go the extra mile to make sure each dog feels loved and understood. Whether your pup needs structure, play, comfort, or a little of everything, I’ve got it covered. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I work from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. With 2 fenced acres, outdoor time is a daily routine, and I’m always nearby to make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. In my home, pets are treated like family. About: I have taken care of older dogs and puppies most of my life. I am able to feed, give them medication and treats as needed. I love giving dogs a good walk and playing with them. I would love to take care of your best friend. Our current house doesn't allow us to have pets. I look forward to having one again in the future. I look forward spending time with your pet. As I do miss having them in my life. Enaure they stay safe and happy. Would make sure everything is safe as possible and keeping them from getting put without supervision. I would give them all of my attention and ensure they feel loved and want to spend time with me again.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats and rabbits! I’ve done German Shepherd Rescue, fostered with other rescues and have always had dogs in my house since as young as I can remember. As I get ready to transition to retirement, I want to give back to all those who helped me with my pups while I’ve traveled or worked. I know how important it is to ensure the pups have a break while away at work, but also with someone you can trust. While my schedule is limited now, in the next few months will be opening up more. Also understand how important it is to meet first and make sure you feel I’m a good fit as well. Right now, I’m only available on a limited schedule, but in a few months will have greater availability as I’ll be retired. Also available weekday nights to let your pup out My pups are spoiled. They are treated as if they are my kids. I allow them on my furniture (dog covers to protect), if they choose, can sleep in bed with me. They typically choose to sleep on their own. When I’m away, my older pup has free roam, but my golden is still a pup, so he is crate trained. I never leave them more than 5 hours alone. Either I return home or have a friend come and let them out. Fully fenced yard. I don’t believe in dog parks and don’t believe in leaving dogs off leash on trails. After being a foster for rescues, learned there is a lot about a dogs behavior you just can’t predict. They are beautiful creatures and cannot impose our human expectations upon them.

Dog sitting is something I highly enjoy doing & I look forward to doing it more often. I’m currently working a part-time schedule, so I have the flexibility through the week and weekends to give the pups the attention they need. I’ll keep my calendar up to date! I can easily let your dogs out during/throughout the day & will make sure to keep them on the schedule they’re usually on during a normal day.

I’m a very trustworthy and honest person when it comes down to it, as a doggy mama who is very protective to her babies I would want that, so I completely understand!
