About: Hello! My name is Phoebe! I’ve had all types of animals growing up! As well as taken care of all types of animals as well! I am a college athlete so I am used to always moving! I miss my animals from home, and I love taking care of animals in my free time! I am very good at following specific directions or routines that are needed for any pet! I have always had animals growing up so I know that they are just as much as your family as anyone else!

“Rachel is genuinely the best pet sitter in Utah. She took the absolute best care of our dog Turk. When he was wired because we were gone, she took the extra time (i.e an extra HOUR) out of her day to make sure he was loved on and taken care of. Rachel is so thorough, kind, and truly an animal lover through and through. I would 100% book again.”

About: Hi! I’m Whitney! a lifelong dog lover and proud pet parent to a Husky and an Australian Shepherd—so I know a thing or two about high-energy, smart, and sometimes stubborn dogs! I’ve learned how to balance exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love to keep dogs happy and healthy. Whether your pup is a couch potato or a trailblazing explorer, I’m ready to match their energy and meet their needs. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments and have experience handling multiple dogs at once. What You Can Expect: Long walks or playtime (tailored to your dog’s energy level) Timely feedings and meds (if needed) Frequent updates and photos Respect for your routines and preferences A safe, loving environment Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care, your pup will be treated like family. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and entertained while you're away. Let’s chat and set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to learn more about your dog and how I can help! I work remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which means I’m home most of the day and can give your pup extra attention, potty breaks, and playtime. These are great days for doggy daycare, drop-ins, or longer stays where your dog won’t be alone for long. On the other days, I plan around my availability to make sure your dog’s needs come first. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment that matches their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets get plenty of attention, supervised playtime with my friendly Husky and Australian Shepherd (if appropriate), and regular outdoor breaks in a safe space. I’m mindful of feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide—whether that means administering medication, sticking to crate training, or reinforcing behavior cues. In your home, I treat your space with respect and make sure your pet feels safe and secure in their familiar surroundings, keeping their routine consistent to reduce stress while you're away.
About: I have hundreds of hours of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, rabbits. For over 4 years I looked after a ranch, making sure the animals were healthy and well cared for. I was trusted to look over the entire ranch while the owners were away. I work as a Dog Handler at Red Rover Retreat, I really enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities. At home, I love working with my own dog and horse on training, with obedience, GRC, and scentwork with my dog and competitive obstacle work with horses. Right now I am not job hunting. My husband and I go on spontaneous adventures with our dog or go visit family on weekends occasionally. (Please still reach out if the booking is for a weekend!) About twice a month. Usually I can still do weekends. I’m pretty open! I am very thorough and go the extra mile-I am known for leaving things better than I found it-whether that be your home, or your dogs training or well-being!
About: I was raised around animals -- cats, dogs, horses, and so many more. I spent my years growing up taking care of our animals, watching my neighbors animals and properties, and helping my grandma with her pet sitting business. In addition, I am a pet owner myself and understanding the importance of having someone trustworthy to take care of my animals while I'm away. I hope I can be this for you! I have a very open schedule and will have plenty of time to spend with your pup (or cat!) to make sure they are exercised and well taken care of. At my house, I have a large fenced yard which your pup will have access to. They will have their own space with a crate and will be kept separate from our animals. We have three cats who have been raised around dogs, and have two dogs. This is a great environment for your pup to spend the day! If I'm dropping by your place, I'll be sure to utilize whatever resources you have for your pup to ensure their comfort!
“Emma always provides such great care to our senior dog! He looks so happy in the pictures she sends and it’s so nice having peace of mind that he’s in good hands while we’re away. Thank you Emma!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 11 years old. I trained my family dog, buttercup, and I’ve dog sat and cat sat for friends and family. I want a good excuse to get off my phone while I’m at school and I believe that taking care of pets is the perfect reason! In the morning I’ll wake up say hello, feed my dog and then it’s time for a walk. After the walk we’ll chill for a bit and play! After it’s been a while I will take the dog outside to have a potty break, and I’ll do so however many times they need. If I have work or a class, I take them outside before and after I leave. And it’s time to feed the friends again around dinner time. Then later in the day when it starts to cool down it’s time for walk #2. Then I’ll take them out one more time before bed, and if I wake up in the middle of the night that means they get to go out again! I am happy to keep your fur baby company while you’re away! I will make sure to play with them, take them on walks, and whatever else you may need. Please make sure to tell me where cleaning supplies is, and the poop bags are for any messes I’ll need to clean up.
“Dot was fantastic for our elderly kitty! She gave insightful updates, communicated clearly, and was so respectful of our home. Our cat loved her, and she handled the more complicated medicine with ease. We will be working with her again!”

About: I’ve had extensive experience working with and taking care of dogs. I grew up with 3 dogs and have been around and taken care of them my whole life. 3 years ago when I adopted my dog Luna, an anxious rescue, is when I really dove into research on the best practices for ways to train, take care of, and advocate for dogs— and now consider it one of my greatest passions. I also spent a year on and off volunteering at Coconino animal shelter in Flagstaff, AZ getting experience providing care to all kinds of dogs! I am in an online grad program for mental health counseling, with a part-time internship— so I am home a lot and am flexible! I have a fenced yard and 1 friendly husky mix that looooves to play. Big area of grass, with lots of toys, bones and a large backyard that provides plenty of stimulation. I have a large doggy door for easy access outside. I also have a large cozy crate in my garage if needed!

About: House sitted for a friend in the Army a few times. Grew up with Mastiffs and a few cats... one lizard. I have a lot of love for dogs and animals in general! Will take good care of them playing and petting and cleaning up and feeding! School full time, work part time. I'm just looking for a way to make some extra money, meet animals, help the community, and maybe make new friends. no boarding services offered. Pets are family in my opinion. They deserve loving attention and a good home no questions asked. I really enjoyed taking my dogs on walks and playing outside.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
