“Megan did an extraordinarily beautiful job kitty sitting with Rosie. She was there for Rosie in all the most important ways, giving her truely undivided attention. She gave Rosie whole assurance that she was completely there for her, taking care and overseeing all her needs as well as being truly a faithful companion and a dear playful friend which she needed. Megan has a special intelligence and truely a deep for working with animals. She brought constancy in the way she followed through with everything she did for Rosie. I would most highly recommend her as a kitty sitter Megan brought an invaluable intelligence to the job. She brought invaluable skills to the job with a deep understanding for Rosie’s needs.”

“Lyn was timely, kind, and did a great job taking care of our home and our three animals. I would book her again in a heartbeat. Our fur babies loved her and our high anxiety dog was glued to her side the whole time. He felt so comfortable with her.”

“Elizabeth was great! She came to the house to meet the animals before we left for vacation to make sure we felt comfortable. She’s a great communicator and we got multiple pictures updates everyday we were away!”

“Elijah was so great with our dogs and respectful of our home. He sent daily photos so we could stay connected. I will always ask him first when we need help again.”

“This was the first time we've asked someone to stay in our home while we were away, and Susan was absolutely the perfect choice. She was great with our dog, took excellent care of the house, and even received raving reviews from our next door neighbors. We really look forward to working with Susan in the future!”

“I was nervous about someone we just met staying in my home with my dogs while we were away. Also, I have three pitties who come with a LOT of energy. Chris did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable at the two meet and greets, as well as this past weekend while we were in Tennessee. She was communicative and very helpful. She left the house cleaner than when she arrived. It’s safe to say that, given how it has gone so far, we are much more confident going to France for almost two weeks in a few days here. We’re confident Chris will take care of our home and pups. Got ourselves a dog sitter.”

“I know Levon works mostly with dogs and I was very happy he was available on short notice (I had another rover sitter cancel within a week of my trip) to watch my sweet Anna. She can be shy and she was comfortable with Levon and he was able to give her the medication she needs. He was responsive and kept me updated. I would book with him again!”

“Kristen saved me at the very last minute - I could tell from the minute I met her she loved animals and really wants them to thrive while the owners are away. She followed the instructions I left perfectly, and even took my guy for a few adventures! I would recommend Kristen to anyone. She is kind hearted, soft spoken, and treats your pets as if they were her own. Thank you again Kristen. 🩷”

“Hannah was very communicative and seemed to have a deep care for all of my animals. I received regular updates, as well as updates when anything unusual occurred (which only happened once, thankfully!). I felt secure knowing my animals were being looked after by Hannah.”

“Amy is always up for anything you need done and quick to stay in touch! She's once again saved our weekend, and extra props for doing so during Helene and having to work our generator. Thank you so much Amy, would be a missed opportunity to not book you ❤️”

“Sara was great!! She stayed with my two dogs for a few days while I was out of town. She was very communicative and got some great photos, and my pups seemed very happy when I returned home.”

“Natasha made Molly very comfortable. They went to our private apartment complex dog park. Molly pooed, and she was very relaxed when I got home!! I highly recommend Natasha.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabriel. We met with our dogs, to see how they would be together and he and I talked about the weekend I needed puppy-sitting. Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. I don't travel very often, but I would like to confirm that he is a magnificent pet sitter and I hope he gets lots of business because he deserves all good things!!!”

“Juliann went above and beyond as our house and pet sitter. She was always available for communication, offered to do more than was asked. Very caring for our pet. Highly recommended!”

“Anne was amazing! She took my dog on hikes, walks, adventures and kept me in the loop over the weekend. She treated him so well! House was clean, I felt completely relaxed the entire wknd, she truly went above and beyond for my little guy. I could tell my dog was happy with her!”

About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

“Chelsea did an excellent job staying for the weekend at my home with my two dogs! The house was left clean and the dogs were happy! I would definitely recommend her!”

“Our dogs took to Melissa immediately during the meet & greet. She was very caring with our dogs and even let me know she accidentally left out a supplement they both take in their food. She let me know that our older dog did not seem to feel well. I appreciated the communication and concern. We will use her again.”

Enka Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Allie is a gem. She takes such good care of our two dogs and our house. She’s dog sat for us quite a few times now and we appreciate her very much!

can’t recommend Tia enough! I came home to a spotless house and three happy, healthy dogs who clearly adored their time with her. They looked amazing—calm, content, and so well cared for. Even Stella, who can be a bit particular, waited patiently for dinner and ate every bite, which says so much. It’s obvious Tia is not only experienced but truly cares. She’s a total pro, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her!

Will definitely use Elijah again. All the dogs were well cared for and he was very attentive to details and contacted me with any issues. House was neat and tidy when I got home.

Charlie watched over our pup while we were out of town. Truly an amazing sitter who was able to help us out when we needed someone truly caring to watch over our pup. I would trust Charlie anytime to watch our fur baby, I am very grateful for the communication and attention to detail.

Juliann stayed with our fur babies while we were on an extended family vacation. She sent daily pics and updates, so we knew everyone was being taken care of. She helped us with our garden and watered our plants, which is no small feat. We loved having her here and will definitely use her again.
The most important thing is that Angel-Mae took fabulous care of my cats! They were completely happy, obviously having received love and playtime. Thank you Angel-Mae! I'm also so grateful that she was able to step in when my normal sitter had to cancel, pretty last-minute, because he broke his foot. My house is spotless, and she took good care of it as well as my cats. For these three most important attributes ( great cat care, home care, and availability), I give Angel-Mae 5 stars. Because Angel-Mae is new to house-sitting, there are some areas where she and I will make improvement the next time she comes. Specifically, I had asked her to do a few things around the house that did not get done (e.g. collecting mail from the mailbox, putting the garbage bin out on trash day). These things rank pretty low in importance compared to the high quality of care Angel-Mae gave my cats. With more experience, I am certain that Angel-Mae will learn to follow instructions and communicate more readily. Overall, I was very satisfied with her stay. So, I'm giving her a 5-star rating, (even though, truthfully, it's a 4.8 star rating). I will definitely request Angel-Mae to care for my cats again. And working out these minor kinks then, will allow me to give her a full 5-star endorsement in the future.

Legera took wonderful care of our pets over a 6 day period. She stayed in our home with our pets and sent daily updates and photos and was an excellent communicator, was respectful of our home and made our pets feel so loved. We will absolutely be booking her again in the future!

Many thanks to Chelsea, who took great care of my two pups for full days and nights. Between our meet-and-greet and then further notes, she tended well to everything with house and pups.

Daniele is awesome! My pup can be a handful but she is patient and knowledgeable. She took great care of my home as well. I can’t recommend (or thank!) her enough!

Isabella took amazing care of our two dogs. She is very communicative and sends pictures and updates. I know my boys are in good hands and feel so comfortable knowing they’re well care for by Isabella when we travel.

Madison, Did an awesome job! She took such great care of our babbies. She is responsible and trustworthy. Our older Lab had some issues during her stay and she was responsive and communicted everything that was going on. Thank you for doing a great job!

Audra was wonderful! Extremely patient with us, especially in this busy holiday season, and asked great questions. She and her partner went out of their way to ensure our dog was as comfortable and happy as possible. Very communicative and great with updates. Highly recommend them to anyone else seeking animal care!

Jared did a great job with Nate and it sounds like they became good buddies. The house was left in good shape, too. We would definitely consider hiring Jared again should the need arise.

Another great sit with Kendra. I feel completely comfortable leaving my boys with her when I go out of town. Highly recomment

Jane is a. Exceptional person! Kept our animals safe and well cared for during hurricane Helene despite huge challenges. I very highly recommend Jane!
