I have hands-on experience with crate training, potty training, basic commands, leash skills, routines, enrichment, and navigating all of the wonderfully chaotic stages of puppyhood! I currently have a 10-month-old chocolate Lab, so I’m very familiar with energetic young dogs and the patience, consistency, exercise, and attention they need. We have a young, friendly Lab who loves other dogs and four dog-savvy cats who are accustomed to sharing their home with a pup. Our home is also thoroughly puppy and toddler-proofed, and everyone in our household understands the importance of respecting a dog’s space, body language, boundaries, and individual personality. I’m big on maintaining consistency between your home and ours. If your dog is crate trained or currently learning we’re happy to continue their normal routine. The same goes for potty training, basic commands, feeding schedules, special diets, and any house rules you’re working on. Dogs can be fed separately to ensure everyone eats their own food, and we have an extra crate available or are happy to use your dog’s own crate if that makes them more comfortable. I love providing enrichment beyond simply letting dogs hang out! Depending on your pup, that might include sniff walks, Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, sprinkler or kiddie-pool play in the yard, fetch, or supervised creek adventures. With your permission, well-suited pups can also join us for dog-friendly walking trails or an occasional brewery outing. If your dog is happiest staying close to home, we’re just as happy to keep their world quiet and familiar.

Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. And have professionally pet sat under a licensed & insured LLC I owned for several years before dissolving it to focus on my career in nursing. I have 2 mini Aussie pups myself, Biscuit & Gravy! About: i don't have a lot of experience in dog care other than taking care of friends dogs or the last few years, but i love being around dogs and really care about getting them out and giving them the exercise and social experiences they need. About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Kashmir, my Redbone Coonhound puppy who loves other dogs!
About: Animals are family. I have a good understanding of animals' emotions, and have grown up with many animals of all types, and have cared for, fostered, and owned many animals. I am able to respond quickly and can check in on your animals to provide food, water, and walk/run them. I live in a West Asheville with great roads to walk along. Your loved pet is always allowed to cuddle on the bed. I work from home so I will always be there for your pet. And the animals will get a bathroom break every 0- 2 hours as needed in the fenced in yard. Along with constant food and water in their bowls (or on a preferred feeding schedule), I will provide loving care to your animals and will give them everything they need to be happy and healthy until your back home. I also have a great phone plan so I can always send pictures and videos to update you on your pet. Long walks or runs are always a great way to calm a pet down who misses their families. And I will make sure that they feel calm, safe, and loved while you are away. They will return overjoyed that you are home, and excited to tell you about all of the fun adventures they have had while you were away. I will exceed expectations with care for your pet and will jump through hoops to make sure that whatever your pet loves is what we do frequently. I am work from home so I have plenty of time to give your pet my undivided attention. Anytime works for me and I am always able to drop in on your pet. This is also a no-smoking or drug area. Your animal will be around the clock cared for and loved. I will also closely monitor your pet's behavior to make sure they are healthy and happy. And will communicate any concerns or questions with the owners.

I’m big on maintaining consistency between your home and ours. If your dog is crate trained or currently learning we’re happy to continue their normal routine. The same goes for potty training, basic commands, feeding schedules, special diets, and any house rules you’re working on. Dogs can be fed separately to ensure everyone eats their own food, and we have an extra crate available or are happy to use your dog’s own crate if that makes them more comfortable. I love providing enrichment beyond simply letting dogs hang out! Depending on your pup, that might include sniff walks, Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, sprinkler or kiddie-pool play in the yard, fetch, or supervised creek adventures. With your permission, well-suited pups can also join us for dog-friendly walking trails or an occasional brewery outing. If your dog is happiest staying close to home, we’re just as happy to keep their world quiet and familiar.
