About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

I’m also very comfortable and experienced with senior dogs and dogs that require medication. For dogs boarding at my home- I have a very calm and quiet home. I do require a meet & greet at my house prior to boarding.

About: I grew up in an animal loving family! As long as I can remember, we have had cats, dogs, or both. I have experience with kittens and puppies, including obedience training and potty training. We currently have three cats and one 7 month old puppy. I work full-time as a therapist, but I am looking for something on the side and LOVE spending time with animals. About: I’ve been around and have had dogs my whole life. Big dogs and small dogs. They really meant so much to me. At some points as a child they were the only friends i had. I have rescued dogs from neglect and abandonment, so I can work with a nervous dog. I can show them that I’m no threat. I still keep up with the dogs. Make sure they are okay and in good hands. I will go above and beyond to make sure these dog abuse face punishment. Mornings and night walks are doable for me. If you need your dog or cat to be fed or have social interaction, I can stop by a couple times a day or whatever you need. I can tell when a dog or cat is nervous and I can totally work with that. This is their home and I respect boundaries. Im not going to force anything. I can be patient and go slow.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. Anything from rabbits and Guinea pigs to horses. I have three giant dogs currently but I love to take care of all creatures. My pets are my 4 legged children that I’d do absolutely anything for. The same goes for your 4 legged family members! About: I love playing fetch, tag a war, anything with dogs. I will give your pet the attention they need and pet and play with them. My availability can change but I will know at least 3 weeks in advance what my availability will be. I have grown up with two dogs in my life one a boxer and the other a golden retriever although they were not in my home I loved being able to spend time with them. I have two cats that I treat like they are my own children so if you have both dogs and cats I'm comfortable caring for both. I have experience giving medicine to animals and have been doing it daily for almost two years now for one of my cats. I work maybe a day a week and besides that I’m a stay at home mom doing online school so my schedule is pretty open and flexible I do not have the space right now to be able to board animals in my personal home. However my neighborhood does have a really nice dog park for pets who would need to get more energy out!
