“Rosko loves Louise! She's obviously an animal lover, and she provides appropriate boundaries while letting Rosko explore as he loves to do. She's great at communicating, and punctual. Five wags!”

“Bess is so wonderful with our sweet pup! We are grateful to have her recurring, reliable help making certain he is well loved and well exercised. He always has the biggest smile on his face in the photos Bess sends of their time together…and he is always tuckered out when we return from those long days at work. Thank you, Bess!”

“I am so glad to have chosen Savanah to walk my precious girl, Scout, while I’m at work. She gives thorough and thoughtful updates and gets amazing photos of my happy girl. Savanah is so sweet and you can tell she really cares. She is reliable and a great communicator. She did everything I requested and was sure to confirm she did so at each visit. Scout was extra playful and happy everyday after Savanah’s visits!”

About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

“Elizabeth was wonderful and took great care of our girls. It was a hot day and day and she made sure our girls stayed shaded and hydrated on their walk with her.”

“What a pleasure to meet Eliza! She’s a great communicator, truly kind, and was patient and lovely with my senior pup. We look forward to being regular clients.”

“I am so happy with Allison. She is so reliable and trustworthy. She comes and walks my dog Mabel and she spends the whole time really getting her in a good workout! I always feel so comfortable having Allison come by. I have a few specific requests for my dog and she takes care of everything so well. She is just awesome. Highly recommend!”

About: Experience with special needs animals, reliable, dedicated to building long term relationships with clients and their pets. Much experience with complex cat care, and open to learning about specialized routines with other types of animals as well. Please message me with any questions :). I am a student in college and am available mostly in the summer and on some breaks from school, but will work with you on what you need! I love animals and spending time with them. I am will do much more than just provide food, water, and accessibility to a clean bathroom; whether that’s outside or inside depending on your specific pet.

About: Currently I do not have any pets of my own, the photos on my profile are of my late American Bulldog, and the Cavalier Spaniel is my mother’s that does not live with me. I grew up always having a dog in my family, and about age 10 I began watching our neighbors dogs as well. I believe this is what gave me a good foundation of compassion, affection, and responsibility. As I got older I consistently had dogs of my own. I believe pets are not just pets, but that they are part of the family. I advocate for animals and I show great care and compassion. In the past 5 years I have had to put down two of my own senior dogs, so I learned a great deal of caring for elderly dogs. My dogs were given the very best lives and the very best of everything. This is how your pet will be treated in my care. I have a very flexible schedule. I currently work from home and make my own hours making my services very convenient. I can do walks, drop-ins, and boarding in my home. Your belongings and home will be treated with care and respect. I only work in environments that are safe and secure for myself and the animals. I’m also very comfortable and experienced with senior dogs and dogs that require medication. For dogs boarding at my home- I have a very calm and quiet home. I do require a meet & greet at my house prior to boarding.

About: I grew up in an animal loving family! As long as I can remember, we have had cats, dogs, or both. I have experience with kittens and puppies, including obedience training and potty training. We currently have three cats and one 7 month old puppy. I work full-time as a therapist, but I am looking for something on the side and LOVE spending time with animals. I currently work full time as a school social worker. While I am on summer break (June-July), I have very open availability. During the school year (August-May), I am more limited to evenings and weekends. While out on walks, I am very aware of surroundings and ensure your dog won’t run into any troubling situations. In your home, I am happy to secure your home to your level of preference, including crating.

About: I’ve been watching pets for 7 years now for family friends and coworkers. I also worked for a veterinarian my senior year of high school as a Kennel Assistant amount other things. I am a college student who is looking to care for pets while I am working my way to a career in animal care. I am going to school with the aim of completing Vet school. I love taking care of pets and I’m an animal person at heart. When caring for pets, whether in your home or a client's home, I follow these key practices: - Activity and Attention: I ensure pets get enough activity and attention to keep them happy. During drop-in visits, I make sure they feel loved and engaged from the moment I arrive until I leave. - Feeding: I strictly adhere to the pet's food requirements, ensuring their diet is properly maintained. - Communication: I maintain regular communication with pet owners, providing updates on their pet's well-being and any notable activities or behaviors. By following these steps, I ensure that pets are well-cared for and pet owners are kept informed and reassured.

“We cannot recommend Minori enough! She has been absolutely outstanding and so patient with our pup. He has been shy and avoidant despite her taking the time to come over and meet him with us. Despite him hiding and growling, she has taken her time every time for him to warm up to her. I’m certain he looks forward to seeing her mid day now and we have full faith she will keep him safe and have fun while we’re not home!”

About: Hi! Your critter baby is in great hands with me. I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life, as I grew up learning how to care for cats, dogs, leopard geckos, turtles, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, fish, hermit crabs, plants and whatever the future holds! I’ve taken over 10 different house sitting and pet sitting jobs on varying occasions with my neighbor’s prestigious show-dogs, given walks to dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I’m ready to give my faithful attention your beloved animal friends! (Unfortunately I cant accept boarding requests for Pit Bulls due to corrupt land management but I’m happy to walk or house sit for your Pitty!) My childhood dog was Lulu, the 3 legged terrier. I also once cared for a labradoodle who struggled with a digestive condition, so I work super well with doggies who have special needs. Doggos are special in general! I own a leopard gecko. I also have taken several jobs for Wag! and have an advanced profile with a 4.97 star rating! Happy to share screenshots of reviews. Some say I’m a pet whisperer, but really I just have a lot of experience with them, so I really know the signals and gestures they use to communicate. Your pup is guaranteed a good time with me! If you would like to meet and greet let me know. I have a very open schedule! Feel free to follow me on instagram! I make art and also post story highlights of all the pets I love! I am also open to portrait commissions! ;) BONUS: Sometimes i doodle pictures of dogs and leave the sketches for the owners :) Please be sure to have your dog trained at a walkable level. I understand dogs very well but I am not a trainer by any means. I am an artist currently working from home, with an occasional Doordash delivery hustle and other dog walks. I am usually home most of the day and would not leave your pet unattended for longer than 4 hours! I treat pets with respect and make sure they feel welcome, with treats and scritches. I feed them and am happy to bathe them once a sitting if requested, outdoors. Whatever you need me to do, I will remember. Your pup is in good hands.

About: I grew up with mostly cats and one lovely beagle :) I’ve been taking care of animals all my life! I am caring and responsible, and love getting to know pets of all sorts and ages. I specialize in long nature walks and chin scratching. I am between jobs and am very flexible with my schedule at the moment! Happy to make mid day visits. Availability is up to date. Reliable transportation. I am attentive to detail and want your pet to be comfortable during my visits! Appreciative of clear instructions and communication of particular safety needs!

About: I have had dogs, cats, and rabbits that I've cared for. I currently have two cats. I am attentive, energetic, and cleanly when pet sitting. I would love to meet your pet! I am self employed jewelry maker and work from home. My schedule is pretty open to accommodate any days or times that you may need. I have a large backyard currently unfenced. I have a calm home environment and I am here at home by myself for the majority of the day. I have two well behaved young cats that would love to keep your pets company!

About: I’ve been around and have had dogs my whole life. Big dogs and small dogs. They really meant so much to me. At some points as a child they were the only friends i had. I have rescued dogs from neglect and abandonment, so I can work with a nervous dog. I can show them that I’m no threat. I still keep up with the dogs. Make sure they are okay and in good hands. I will go above and beyond to make sure these dog abuse face punishment. Mornings and night walks are doable for me. If you need your dog or cat to be fed or have social interaction, I can stop by a couple times a day or whatever you need. I can tell when a dog or cat is nervous and I can totally work with that. This is their home and I respect boundaries. Im not going to force anything. I can be patient and go slow.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. Anything from rabbits and Guinea pigs to horses. I have three giant dogs currently but I love to take care of all creatures. My pets are my 4 legged children that I’d do absolutely anything for. The same goes for your 4 legged family members! My schedule is relatively open so feel free to send me a message and I will respond as quickly as I possibly can. I’m also in grad school full time and at home with my dogs. I keep them on a routine. At home, my fur children have a routine that they follow. I’m very specific with how things are taken care. Because of that, I like to establish a clear understanding of directions for what fits best for your family member.

“She was awesome! My dog liked her very much! Will definitely book again!”

About: I love playing fetch, tag a war, anything with dogs. I will give your pet the attention they need and pet and play with them. My availability can change but I will know at least 3 weeks in advance what my availability will be. I have grown up with two dogs in my life one a boxer and the other a golden retriever although they were not in my home I loved being able to spend time with them. I have two cats that I treat like they are my own children so if you have both dogs and cats I'm comfortable caring for both. I have experience giving medicine to animals and have been doing it daily for almost two years now for one of my cats. I work maybe a day a week and besides that I’m a stay at home mom doing online school so my schedule is pretty open and flexible I do not have the space right now to be able to board animals in my personal home. However my neighborhood does have a really nice dog park for pets who would need to get more energy out!

About: I'm an animal enthusiast! I have grown up with a minimum of 4 doggies at a time, a couple of cats, and a turtle (that is now 28 years old). I've spent my entire life around critters. I treat animals like the special beings that they are. I sing to them and talk to them and offer them my love. :) I provide kind and sweet service to your animals and am flexible with your needs as an owner and customer. I'm comfortable with providing medicine or specific needs to your furry pets. I'm available full time and have a large home with a fenced in backyard. I'm also available for housesitting with your pet while you are away. I'm also available for doggy daycare and walks. Having so much much experience with dogs and cats has gifted me with skills such as breaking up dog fights, treating various wounds and ailments, tending to elderly dogs and giving them the love they need at their delicate stage of life, providing training to puppies, cleaning up messes and keeping up with sweeping/cleaning, finding out the source of dogs with skin allergies, driving animals to the pet emergency rooms, assisting in the wrapping of doggy foot casts, and more commonly, grooming.

Enka dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sadie was absolutely wonderful with my senior pup, Ziggy. He loved her immediately, and she was a dog whisperer with getting him to walk around the neighborhood. We both look forward to seeing her again soon. Thank you, Sadie!

Shannon is wonderful!! Shannon walked and played with our dog Sage daily for a hour. We received daily report cards and pictures. Sage absolutely loved Shannon. She would get excited when she heard Shannon’s car arrive. Every time we spoke with my mother she talked about how much Sage loved Shannon and how Shannon was Sage’s new favorite person ☺️. My mother also noted how conscientious Shannon was when it rained, and wiped Sages paws before coming in the house. Thank you Shannon for taking so wonderful care of Sage!

Sophie was wonderful with my little man while I was out of town. She was communicative and professional. Bishop seemed to get along with her well and got comfortable quickly. I really appreciated the photos and feedback, even when I was away from my phone, it was wonderful to come back to
