About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly second nature to me. I’ve worked in a veterinary office for five years—both in the kennel and as a veterinary assistant—so I’m comfortable handling pets with all kinds of needs, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler touch. I earned my Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Virginia Tech and my Master’s in Animal Science from Clemson University. Throughout school, I worked in research labs and on university farms, gaining hands‑on experience with many species and learning how to care for animals in a wide range of situations. I now live in Harpers Ferry with my two dogs and six chickens, and I work for an animal genetics company. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, cattle, goats, and more. I have a large fenced in yard and extra crates! I allow animals do be on my furniture as long as that is what their owner allows. My dogs are very active so frequent walks are great!

About: My family and I absolutely love dogs we lost ours recently and I am not ready to get another one but would love to care for yours like he/she was our own. I have 3 very energetic kiddos that would love to play with and give lots of love and cuddles to your fur baby. I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for dogs who are happiest in their own space. I’d love to meet your pup! Feel free to reach out to check availability or set up a meet-and-greet. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. I do a meet and greet with Louie before confirming any boarding stay. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.

About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

About: Hello, my name is Lucy D. I have two pets of my own, who are named Bella and Jack. Bella is my feisty chihuahua terrier mix and jack is a tabby. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors! Pets bring a lot of love and excitement into our lives and keep our overall moods up! For work experience, I’ve worked in a veterinary Hospital along with taking care of animals throughout my lifetime. I’ve worked with all kinds of dog breeds, ages etc so I feel I’m knowledgeable of the behaviors and needs that follow. I have three dogs, one elderly small dog and two energetic very friendly medium sized dogs. The small one is kept separate and has scheduled potty times. The two others roam free and have scheduled feeding times and activities that your pet can join! My home has a doggy door so outside will be accessible at all times, I have a fenced in yard. If not potty trained, pet will follow my elderly dogs potty routine. Reactive dogs will be kept separate. Please inform of all your pets needs and habits.

About: I’m very caring and attentive to all animals and I am here to look after and play with them when you are unavailable. I have plenty of experience watching dogs, cats, and even reptiles on several different occasions for a few years now and I will never get tired of meeting new ones! About: Pet care is a big passion of mine. Being a middle school math teacher, I make sure to keep myself busy in the summer with swim lessons and taking care of pets! I love giving back to my community and during the summer months I have a VERY flexible schedule and love to take long walks with my new furry friends and make sure they get a well deserved treat! I am a middle school math teacher so my summer schedule is extremely flexible! My summer routine consists of taking long walks so might as well have a furry friend tag along side! I have been a pet caretaker for over 15 years and have a minor in animal behavior! Every dog I have owned lived over 16 years of age and were very sociable and healthy. I have everything your pet could need including a nice big fenced in field for them to roam, a crate for “safe spot”, treats and more!
