About: After accumulating many volunteer hours over the last two years with Animal Defense League and Bulverde Humane Society through dog walking, kennel cleaning, and enrichment classes, I am looking to add "pet sitting" to my list of hobbies as a dog lover! On top of my formal experience with pet care, I have two of my own dogs and subscribe to the life-long-dog-lover club. One of my own dogs is often reactive (got some major stranger danger over here), so I am familiar with caring for and walking dogs who can be reactive and need special care. I also have lots of practice administering daily medications to both of my dogs, and am currently helping my other (non-reactive) dog recover from TPLO surgery. I am definitely up for a challenge! **Open availability during school breaks**!! If you need to schedule last minute drop in visits and/or walks for spring break, I would love to help! These are the hours I am available outside of school breaks: M-F: 6:00am-6:45am, 4:30pm-7:00pm Weekends: Open availability (6:00am-8:00pm) I would love to feed, water, walk, and love on your dogs while you are away. If your dogs need an extra energy outlet, I run with my personal dog canicross style nearly every day, and am happy to get some extra miles in with your pup!

Absolutely outstanding experience. From the start, communication was clear, quick, and professional. You can tell right away Tara genuinely cares about animals, not just the job. Daily updates, photos, and small details gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My dog was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. That alone tells you everything. They followed instructions exactly, kept everything clean, and went above and beyond without being asked. Rare to find someone this dependable. I’d trust her again without hesitation. This was my first time using a sitter through Rover. Jessica did a great job caring for my two elderly cats! She is kind, has a great personality and my cats did very well with her. One of my cats tends to hide from people until he gets to know them. Both my cats came out and took to her at the first meeting. She gave one of my cats a pill (medicine) and took the other to get his sub cutaneous fluids a couple times during my absence. She was very responsive when I texted her. I love the pictures she took of my cats.
John was outstanding. He took excellent care of my dog, Pickles—making sure he got his walk, was fed, and even leaving him with a treat while putting the TV on his favorite YouTube channel. John also kept me updated with thoughtful messages and sent several cute photos of my Pickles boy, which I really appreciated. It gave me great peace of mind knowing Pickles was in such good hands. I will definitely be booking John again and highly recommend him
During the visit my dogs were more nervous than usual and needed a little extra time to warm up. What stood out was that she went above and beyond. She picked up food and water from Target curbside due to our unforeseen situation. That level of effort and follow through meant a lot. Due to my dogs being a bit anxious, I truly appreciate her communication, professionalism, and the extra care she showed.

Sophie was absolutely fantastic! My dog was happy, healthy and very well cared for. She was able to provide routine and lots of love for my pet which allowed me to enjoy my time away stress-free. Thank you Sophie for being there for my English Bulldog and having the flexibility to care for this specific breed! It meant a lot to me!!!
Destanie was such a great sitter. My fur babies automatically warmed up to her kind spirit. I was away for two weeks for Xmas and returned to the sweetest card and new cat toys for my fur babies. I really appreciate her so much for keeping them company while I was away. I will definitely be booking her again!!! 10 stars if I could.
Aimee took great care of our fur babies for a week. Our little zoo can be a lot to care for, but she stepped right in like a professional. She was responsive and thorough, and ensured my kitty received his twice daily medication at the correct times. It was a relief to know my kitties and dogs were in such good hands.
