About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets, from childhood dogs and cats to hands-on work in veterinary clinics. For the past six years, I’ve worked in small animal vet clinics as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant, where I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m experienced in safely and sensitively handling pets who may be anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable with strangers. I’m comfortable administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic pets, and I have experience caring for senior pets, pets with chronic conditions, those recovering from surgery, and pets on special diets. I also have experience with puppies and can reinforce basic training such as house-training and routine consistency. My clinical background has trained me to read pet body language, recognize stress signals early, and prevent issues before they escalate. You can expect consistent communication and detailed updates while your pet is in my care. I am currently a full-time student, but I am available every weekday morning between 8:00 and 11:00 AM and in the evening from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. I am also available most weekends. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and any special instructions. With my veterinary clinic experience, I prioritize safety by monitoring behavior and health, securing doors and leashes, and preventing stress or hazards. I respect my clients’ homes and provide consistent communication and detailed updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: I’ve been helping my grandparents raise dogs for a few years now and have experience taking care of them. My friends also always come to me when they need somebody to take care of their animals. I love taking care of all kinds of critters, big or small! I do have class and work during the day, so I may be unavailable during certain times for visits. However, I’m always willing to work with you to try and figure out a good schedule. My class and work schedule is usually 9-5:30 at UNL, so I need time to get to your critters. However, I’m willing to work with you to find the best time. My weekends are fully open. I have experience with building trust with animals that are unfamiliar with me and know how to do sniff tests so they can get used to me in your home. Your home is their space and they need to know that I’m not intruding so they feel safe. :)

About: I have grown up with dogs and they have become a special part of my life. I am completing my graduate program and do not have any pets of my own, so this is a great way for me to still get time with pets which makes me very happy. I currently have 2 dogs at home with my parents, one of which is a puppy that they got this summer! Our other dog is the sweetest pup and struggles with anxiety and separation anxiety, so I have learned to work with those challenges with him. I have-pet sit for my neighbors and friends since I was in middle school and really love getting the opportunity to be around pets. Although I have always had dogs around, I also love cats and other animals! I am currently in an in-person a graduate program so my schedule tends to vary during the week days. But I am often available in the mornings or afternoons, and some days have flexible full-day availability. My weekends are pretty open as well and I would love to care for pets during the weekends. I always make sure to have a thorough understanding of the routine that is in place for the specific pet(s). I feel it is important to follow each pet owner's wishes and routines in order to provide the best care for each individual pet and owner.
