About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: I raised/trained a puppy several years ago, and I've been pet sitting since I was 14. I am also a very active person, and I love running, walking, and playing outside with dogs. I have work shifts no more than a few hours on select days. If your dog cannot be alone for a few hours, I can almost certainly find a friend or family member to watch them while I am out. I am happy to house sit as well if you are on vacation. I will make sure your dog feels comfortable, well loved, and properly entertained. I am very trustworthy and diligent with regards to schedules and special instructions. If boarding, please bring an item from home that your dog feels connected to (could be a bed, favorite toy, blanket, etc).

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was a young girl. They’ve always been a part of my family, so I’m comfortable with everything from dog walking to pet sitting, feeding, and even bathing. Whether it's playing with puppies or giving extra attention to senior dogs, I want to make sure each pet feels comfortable and loved. My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m available after 5 pm, mostly for dog walks. On weekends, I’m free all day and can help with dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, or whatever your pet needs. I don’t have any dogs at home right now, but your dog will be treated like part of the family! I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment where your dog can relax, play, and enjoy their time. About: Being a long time animal lover, I love spending my time walking and training dogs. I’ve worked at various animal hospitals, doggy daycares, and boarding facilities. I am willing to travel, and it would be a great perk if my 3 year old lab could come play or walk with your pup as well! My schedule is very flexible. I am willing to travel, and am open to schedule changes to work with your needs as well. I can do holidays as well as weekends with a planned notice. All I want is for your pet to feel comfortable and have a great time playing and/or going for a walk. Engaging shy/fearful dogs with toys and treats is always a great way to earn trust.

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

We had a few rotations of sitters to cover the several weeks we were gone (family and a neighbor), and Valerie was definitely the most experienced of them all. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. We'd highly recommend her if you want peace of mind that someone experienced and compassionate is taking care of your fur children!”

About: Hello! I started boarding for Rover when I was at Northeastern University and met so many amazing pups and owners! It's so fun to have a companion to bring with you on outings, swimming, and hiking. I honestly think joining Rover is one of the best decisions I've made! In June 2020 I finally adopted a puppy of my own, Rhubarb! She's very friendly and loves playing with other dogs and cats. I'm excited to be offering pet care services again, and think that Rhubarb will be a great companion to any pet who might stay with us. I’m also happy to take plenty of pictures so you can know that your pet is happy and healthy while you're away. Feel free to read my reviews to learn a little more about my experience and style. I work full-time out of the home so they would have to be comfortable staying home alone with my dog for up to 8 hrs if the stay included weekdays.
