About: We are in a senior community that only allows up to medium dogs. We have had dogs for over 20 years but currently don't have a dog of our own and love to have dog guests. We would love to have sleepovers to get our fix of licks and wags! Your fur baby would have run of our house (furniture included) and will be walked multiple times a day. I work Monday through Friday, but my husband is home all day. Other than occasional trips to the store or out to eat, our fur guests are not left home alone. We only take one family at a time, up to two dogs. We would love to be grandparents to your fur children! My husband is home all day and loves having a dog companion to share his day. Walks around the neighborhood and watching TV are a typical day. All dogs in the community must be leashed and everyone is courteous. If your dog would is shy or anxious, we can walk in our backyard. If outgoing, we can visit the neighbors.

“We had a wonderful experience with Madison! Our dog Pascal is very shy and tends to get scared around new people, but she was incredibly patient and gave him the time and space he needed to feel comfortable. Her gentle approach truly made a difference. Throughout the entire time, she was attentive, communicative, and easy to reach. We especially appreciated the regular photo updates, they meant so much to us while we were away and missing our fur baby. We’re so grateful for the care and love she gave to Pascal and wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again!”

About: With years of hands-on experience in animal care, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering at both wildlife sanctuaries and the SPCA, where I worked with a wide variety of animals in need. My background includes caring for pets of all ages—from playful puppies and kittens to senior companions—as well as animals with medical conditions and special needs. I’m deeply committed to providing patient, compassionate, and attentive care, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and well looked after, no matter their age or condition. I currently have open availability and am happy to provide pet care whenever you need it. Whether it’s daily visits, overnight stays, or last-minute help, I’m flexible and ready to accommodate your schedule. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. I provide loving, reliable care for pets in the comfort of their own home or while out on walks. Whether it's feeding, playtime, administering medication, or just keeping them company, I follow your pet’s routine to help them feel safe and stress-free. During walks, I ensure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need, always keeping their safety and happiness as my top priority.

“From the moment Scooter met Bradley it was a match made in heaven. Scoot doesn’t take to everyone but he immediately got up on the couch next to Bradley and cuddled in next to him and just relaxed. He nearly fell asleep he was so at ease with Bradley. That was pure trust. Bradley is the Dog Whisperer. I had zero concerns and also felt at ease leaving our home and our beloved dog in Bradley’s care. We actually had to extend our stay away for an additional 2 days and we’re relieved we could rely on Bradley. He sent me photos each day and commented on his well being. I think Scooter had such a good time, I’m not sure he has missed us!”

“After reading a lot of profiles I definitely picked the best dog sitter Celina did an amazing job Great communication took great care of our fur babies being on vacation for a few days and we are very thankful”

“Lorraine did a great job. We were on a cruise so there was no way she could send pictures although she did send a couple before we actually sailed. House looked good and Olive was a happy. well cared for puppy. Thank you.”

About: Taking care of fur babies has been a passion of mine since a very young age. I used to pretend to be the neighborhood dog trainer at the age of like 7! I’m no dog trainer, but I’m definitely able to love and care for your fur babies like they deserve. I work a full time job, however the hours are pretty flexible. I’m typically off Fridays and Saturday's, so I’m available anytime. Sunday-Thursday it varies but I’m typically available in the morning to 4pm :) I have 3 cats and 1 dog who I love very far much. I’m a great communicator and will keep in contact and provide pictures through out the experience. If your pet is happy, then I am too!

About: Hi everyone! I have grown up with both cats and dogs my entire life. In fact, at my childhood home, we had seven cats at one time- even though my dad is allergic! Since moving to Winter Haven, I have missed having a furry friend around and well, that’s why I am on Rover! I currently work full time but not a traditional 9-5 because I am a pilot- which means I am only not home when I am flying! If I am unable to fulfill a request because of my travel schedule, I will be sure to let you know I am unavailable. At my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but it is a quiet neighborhood away from busy roads. My roommates currently have one dog and one cat but if your pet doesn’t get along with other animals, I can keep them separate. Just let me know!

Madeline was with our pups over 4th of July and stayed home with them to make sure they were comfortable, I would 100% use her again!”

“Evan was fantastic with our 4 high maintenance "children". This was our first time using her and we did just a short 2 night trial before doing our longer trip Later this month. She communicated throughout the stay, sent pictures and left our house in great condition. We will definitely secure her for our future dates and many more!”

“Julianna was so helpful when we had to go out of town for an unexpected funeral. She sent multiple pictures of our dog and updates throughout her stay. She even brought our trash cans back which was so helpful! Her and her family are truly kind people. We look forward to rebooking! 10/10”

About: I love all animals. I have cared for many dog breeds, from Chihuahuas to Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I know how to care for dog with special needs/behavioral issues. I fully believe there is no such thing as a bad dog, only ones that need compassion, training, and positive reinforcement. I have cared for dogs with special diets and health issues, and know how to handle the ones who can't stay still as well as the ones who seems scared of their own shadow, they all deserve love and compassion. I am willing to accommodate any and all special requests from the owner, every dog is different! I have very full availability! I have same day availability, just let me know a few hours in advance so I can prepare. I am willing to set up recurring visits if that's something needed as well. I will be willing to commute to your home to provide walks or in home care, including overnight. I can provide toys, supplies, etc, or use ones provided. I can administer medications, I just will need instructions. I believe every pet is an individual, so I'd prefer to know as much as possible about what they need, but I also am able to read them pretty well! I unfortunately cannot provider can in my home at the time being, nor am I able to commute with the pets (I can walk them to places locally) I hope to provide more services in the future!

Nevaeh H.
“I can’t say enough good things about Nevaeh ! I had to leave town unexpectedly for a long weekend, and she stepped right in to care for my three dogs — Max, Daisy, and Cooper. She made sure they stuck to their regular feeding schedule, took them on daily walks, and even sent me pictures and little updates so I knew they were happy and well. Max can be a bit shy with new people, but he warmed up to her right away. Daisy needs her medication twice a day, and she handled that with no problem. Cooper is our wild one, but she kept him entertained with fetch and tug-of-war until he was ready to nap. When I came home, the dogs were relaxed, tails wagging, and the house was just as I left it. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in loving, capable hands. I will definitely be booking her again!”

Christy M.
“Christy would be excellent with any pet. She loves animals. She has even gone to the local shelter to help out with their animals. She is very responsible and trustworthy.”
Eloise pet parents share their Rover experiences
We were lucky enough to find Savanna who took care of our fur babies like her own. Was pleasantly surprised to come home to a clean home with nary a thing out of place as the day we left. She had a few hiccups in the technology at our home but was fixable. Felt like she got as much out of the house / dog sitting as we did with the safety of having them stay like a family would. Word to the wise as I tell my kids- if it turns on, it turns off & show respect to other people's lifestyles by enjoying what's been granted to you. Would definitely recommend her to others looking for a compassionate & skillful person who dealt well with our sometimes bullheaded bully & Itty bitty.
