Olivia Maximilianus lived up to, and beyond, any expectations I ever had; performing with brilliant helpfulness. Providing professional service above any idea of which that I had going into the situation of needing help feeding my four-legged relative, while I traveled. With the sonic intuition of a bat soaring through the night, she knew what I needed before I could even think of it. With the professional and timely voice of mourning dove, she was prompt and unbelievably reliable. With the cool and calm discipline of a crow crossing a wire over a field of peace lilies, bluegrasses, and dandelions, she left my home and space in a cleaner and more organised way than I had left it. And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.””

About: I was in 4-h for around 7-10 years and showed horses, cattle, rabbits, cats and dogs. I lived on a farm so I am good with all sized pets. I have a deep passion for animals and personally have 2 dogs a chocolate lab and siberian husky, and 2 cats a orange tabby and grey maine coon. I am a full-time college student so my schedule is pretty open all week and the weekends besides church Sunday mornings and I work Saturday nights 5-11. I am very responsible and have lots of experience pet-sitting. I strive to do my best job for all my cliets while also being respectful of their home.

About: I’ve had a big place in my heart for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have a little bit of experience in regards to medication. I’ll treat your babies like my own. I work full time as a home health aide so I don’t really have a set schedule but I’m sure we’ll figure something out that works for everyone involved. I will always treat your pets like my own and I will always try my hardest to make sure I’m following any instructions you left for me.

About: As someone who works in the pet care industry and has three dogs of my own, caring for animals is a huge part of my life. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to senior dogs needing extra comfort and attention, and I always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work full time in the pet care industry, so caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life! With at least a week’s notice, I’m able to make my schedule flexible to best meet the needs of your pet and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I currently offer care within my client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I know how important consistency can be for animals, especially for shy pets, seniors, or pets who may become stressed in new environments. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, personality, and comfort needs to help them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind during visits.

About: Hi! My name is Maddie and I am a current Master’s student at the University of Nebraska in the Counseling Psychology program. Since I was very little, animals have been an important part of my life. I have lived with dogs for as long as I can remember! I have had a lifetime of feeding, playing with, walking, and caring for them. I have also had experience with various sizes and breeds of dogs, and regularly look after a handful of pets (including cats) in my neighborhood. I have plenty of time during most of my days to snuggle, walk, and care for any of your furry friends. I work from home in addition to being a full-time student. My only "full" day of classes is Wednesday, but I am able to take breaks to come on check on my furry friends throughout the day. Otherwise, I am able to spend a lot of time at home and outside with your pup! While caring for your pet, I understand that I would be occupying the space that is your pet’s home. I also understand that the space should remain as it was when you left, and will always clean up after myself and only use what I am permitted to use by the owner! I want to make sure that both you and your pet feel secure with me being in your home.

About: Hello, my name is Tracy and I'm a total dog person! Although I can't have a furry friend at home due to my living situation, I volunteer as a dog walker at the local capital humane society here in town. I've had the pleasure of working with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to massive Great Danes! There's nothing better than seeing their tails wag and spoiling them with pets and treats. My dream is to own a large piece of land where I can provide a forever home for senior and handicapped animals. Until then, I'll continue to volunteer and do my part to help these amazing companions! I currently work full time and have a part time job on top of that i also volunteer 1 day a week at the capital humane society as a dog walker! i enjoy taking walks around the park and or neighborhood, after our long walk then we would go to the dog park and meet all our other furry friends!

“Wr needed a dog/house sitter for a last minute trip. I didn't want just anyone, either. Ibqas so worried our dogs were just going to be let out 3-4 times a day, and not get any play time. That was not the case when I got on here and found Ashlee. She was simply amazing! She sent me pictures of our dogs multiple times a day, was always checking in with me. Our dogs usually have separation anxiety and they seemed to do just fine with her! She walked our dogs multiple times, spoiled the with treats, played with them outside for a while! We were very blessed to have found Ashlee. We liked her so much we booked her again when we went to a concert, and we have her potentially booked for our vacation in February! About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs back home in Omaha that I absolutely adore. Being away from them during my last summer in Lincoln made me realize how much joy animals bring into my life, which is what inspired me to join Rover. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I understand how important trust and communication are when leaving your pets with someone, so I always aim to provide dependable care and regular updates with photos. I work full time during weekdays, so I’m best suited for pets comfortable with a daytime routine, but I make sure they receive plenty of love, exercise, potty breaks, and attention before and after work (I am also more than willing to leave during my lunch if need be!!) I work weekdays during the day, but I’m available for morning and evening walks, drop in visits, overnight care, and weekend availability. About: I’ve taken care of animals for a long time and I am able to handle the large breeds all the way to the smallest breeds. I can handle training and potty training and I can ensure comfort and confidence in each pet! I’m working part time in the morning with the afternoon and evenings free and I have Monday/thursday/Sunday off! I can do things early morning, mid afternoon, evening, and night! I own my home, with two cats that have their own space and a very social and friendly weiner dog. I have a big backyard and a phenomenal neighborhood for walking!

About: I've lived with pets my entire life (except for currently) and have cared for them as long as I can remember. I've also worked at boarding centers, caring for cats and dogs and taking them for walks multiple times a day. I'm happy to follow whatever routine your dog/cat is used to! I also have experience house sitting for 5+ animals at once, so I can take on many different challenges when it come to pet care. Tasks include feeding, walking, administering medications, and cleaning litter boxes and crates. I will make sure your pet receives the attention and love it deserves! I'm available all day on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am only available on weekends for dog sitting. Your pet would never be left for more than 2 hours at a time! I can adapt to any situation for your pet if needed. From getting up at 5am for breakfast and a morning walk in your neighborhood to going to their favorite dog park on the weekends. I live in an apartment, but live near parks and trails that I can easily take your dog for walks on. I also have lots of windows for cats to look out of in my apartment. Animals are welcome and encouraged to sit with my on my couch and bed! I also have lots of blankets to lie down if they choose the floor.
