About: I’ve lived my whole life with at least one pet in the house and shared responsibility in caring for him or her. I took in my own pupper, Benji, in the summer of 2020 as a 4-month-old puppy and trained him myself. My husband and I also have a precious cat named Princess who rules the roost :) We love our fur family, and I/we can’t wait to love on yours! I work a regular 8-5 job that has some flexibility in the morning and afternoon (I can come in later and leave earlier if I need to). I’m free most evenings and weekends. I can take care of pets in my apartment for a short period, but they have to be ok with cats and dogs. I have a cat tree and a litter box, and I take my small dog on a walk 3x a day. I would do the same or more for my clients. I also expect my clients to line out any needs and rules for me in their homes and/or for their pets so I can take care of them as desired.
“Jaclyn was absolutely fantastic! She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated with photos, and went above and beyond - he even got a bath! Our puppy loved her, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Derek was great w/Oso. My little bear 🐻 was very calm before & after I picked him up. Derek kept me updated w/great pics & gave great advice on getting Oso out & about more around people & other dogs. He is still a pup & everything is new still, however I agree with him & appreciate his advice. I will probably book him again 😀.”

“Kathi took great care of our two little dogs while we were on vacation. She even took time to bathe them and wash their blankets before we picked them up after our vacation so they would smell nice for us. We were very satisfied with her services and will definitely have her watch them for us again for our next out-of-town trip.”

“Linseed has watched our dog Maisy a couple of times when we have gone out of town. She always sends pictures and Maisy looks right at home. We have been very happy with the care she has received.”

“Thank you to Shawn and Melissa and daughters for their loving care for my very old, blind, hard of hearing, and struggling with incontinence dog, Rufus (18 yrs). I bragged to my fellow Washington DC goers of the excellent care I found for Mr. Rufus while I was away "conferencing". I really appreciated the daily pictures and contacts -- I knew he was in good hands. Thank you to your family for providing this very loving and helpful service to our Lincoln pooches who need some brief babysitting. You guys rock! I hope I can set up some more weekend "respite" for Mr. Rufus soon....... Dr. Marti”

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience leaving our sweet boy with Jamie and her family. From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. Jamie provided daily updates and photos, which truly reassured us that he was happy and well-cared for. It's clear that Jamie and her family have a genuine love for dogs, and their kindness shines through in every interaction. I highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!”

“Stacy did an outstanding job taking care of our Nita. She sent pictures to us while we were on our trip of the activities and overall well-being of our pet. Thank you so much Stacy for the compassionate care you gave to our senior dog.”

“Staci was a dream. We were worried about leaving our dog with a stranger but he seemed to love it there. She immediately followed up on any communication, sent pics often, and was willing to follow any guidelines we had.”

“Amazing Rover! We got a lot of videos and photos while we were gone! Our dogs were well taken care of and totally worn out when they got home! In fact, they’re still tired as of Monday morning!! Will definitely be booking Thomas again!!”

“Thank you for taking care of our little fluff these past few days. We appreciate you giving him so much attention and sending daily updates. We truly appreciate everything you do for him!”

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful. She and her family invited my pup into their home and treated him like he was one of their own. She kept me up to date on how he was doing, sent lots of pictures, spoiled him with treats, and allowed him to get comfortable in her home. I’ll absolutely have Sarah watch my pup again when I need a sitter.”

“Our poodle had a wonderful stay and enjoyed playing with Cheryl's two dogs. Cheryl sent pics of the dogs and my family loved the updates. We hope to have our dog stay with Cheryl in the future! Thanks for a great weekend, Cheryl!”

About: Hello, my name is Tracy and I'm a total dog person! Although I can't have a furry friend at home due to my living situation, I volunteer as a dog walker at the local capital humane society here in town. I've had the pleasure of working with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to massive Great Danes! There's nothing better than seeing their tails wag and spoiling them with pets and treats. My dream is to own a large piece of land where I can provide a forever home for senior and handicapped animals. Until then, I'll continue to volunteer and do my part to help these amazing companions! I currently work full time and have a part time job on top of that i also volunteer 1 day a week at the capital humane society as a dog walker! i enjoy taking walks around the park and or neighborhood, after our long walk then we would go to the dog park and meet all our other furry friends!
“Wr needed a dog/house sitter for a last minute trip. I didn't want just anyone, either. Ibqas so worried our dogs were just going to be let out 3-4 times a day, and not get any play time. That was not the case when I got on here and found Ashlee. She was simply amazing! She sent me pictures of our dogs multiple times a day, was always checking in with me. Our dogs usually have separation anxiety and they seemed to do just fine with her! She walked our dogs multiple times, spoiled the with treats, played with them outside for a while! We were very blessed to have found Ashlee. We liked her so much we booked her again when we went to a concert, and we have her potentially booked for our vacation in February! She is a fantastic dog/house sitter. Thanks again, Ashlee! ?”

About: I've always have had cats since I was little and love cats with all my heart. My cat is a female orange tabby cat named raja, and she is my absolute world! She has had medical problems in the past so I can do anything medical and yes I do clean litter boxes.
“100% WOULD RECOMMEND AGAIN! Dom takes such good care of our boys! Our babies are very needy & have abandonment issues. They are only comfortable in their own home with their routines. We have very specific care instructions & one of ours needs medication and he fights it. Dom is consistent and he truly care about our boys’ health and wellbeing while we’re gone. We repeatedly choose Dom time after time because of his great communication, consistency, & level of quality care! Thank you again Dom, you’re the best!”

About: I love cats. As an autistic person, I find that I get along better with animals than people. I’ve had 1-3 cats my whole life since I was 10 years old. When I am at a party, you’ll find me hanging out with the animals. Aside from my own cats, I check on neighbor’s cats, and spend time at the Felius Cat Cafe.

“This was my very first time using anything like Rover to help take care of my dog partner. Olivia Maximilianus lived up to, and beyond, any expectations I ever had; performing with brilliant helpfulness. Providing professional service above any idea of which that I had going into the situation of needing help feeding my four-legged relative, while I traveled. With the sonic intuition of a bat soaring through the night, she knew what I needed before I could even think of it. With the professional and timely voice of mourning dove, she was prompt and unbelievably reliable. With the cool and calm discipline of a crow crossing a wire over a field of peace lilies, bluegrasses, and dandelions, she left my home and space in a cleaner and more organised way than I had left it. And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.””

“Celeste was an amazing cat sitter! Went above and beyond expectations and was in regular contact with me while I was away. When I returned home, my cats were obviously very well taken care of and my apartment looked just as I had left it! Cannot recommend Celeste enough. Incredibly appreciative of her willingness to watch my pets and keep me updated while on vacation.”

About: Hi! My name is Maddie and I am a current Master’s student at the University of Nebraska in the Counseling Psychology program. Since I was very little, animals have been an important part of my life. I have lived with dogs for as long as I can remember! I have had a lifetime of feeding, playing with, walking, and caring for them. I have also had experience with various sizes and breeds of dogs, and regularly look after a handful of pets (including cats) in my neighborhood. I have plenty of time during most of my days to snuggle, walk, and care for any of your furry friends. I work from home in addition to being a full-time student. My only "full" day of classes is Wednesday, but I am able to take breaks to come on check on my furry friends throughout the day. Otherwise, I am able to spend a lot of time at home and outside with your pup! While caring for your pet, I understand that I would be occupying the space that is your pet’s home. I also understand that the space should remain as it was when you left, and will always clean up after myself and only use what I am permitted to use by the owner! I want to make sure that both you and your pet feel secure with me being in your home.

About: I love all animals, especially dogs. I previously lived in Colorado where I fostered dogs through a local program until they got adopted. The most special dog I fostered had been shot and needed round the clock care and multiple surgeries. She is is now happy and healthy in a new home in Colorado. I work from home so am able to give your pets round the clock attention and love. I can take my computer and work from anywhere and be flexible for schedules. Caring for animals is my passion, I was just never able to make a career out of it. I have my own chocolate lab named Timber. I took her in from a friend that could no longer keep her. I believe in rescuing animals in need.

About: I currently have 3 dogs, 2 are foster fails. One from a rescue I volunteered for and the other through a family member who made a rash decision to buy a puppy. All 3 dogs are different in size, small, medium and large. All are tan and was not planned that way. Age range is 12, 11, and 8. My oldest has to have multiple kinds of eyedrops 3 times a day. He is unfortunately blind, but he is still happy. I have experience with fostering dogs and working with rescue organizations. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom of 3. I have time to play, feed, walk or let out your dog anytime during the day and can stay with them for a little while. I consider my pets as my children and treat them with love and great care. I believe a person's energy affects how a dog reacts to them, so I do my best to stay calm around dogs in general. I am not super strict and will give love and kisses and bring excited energy when the situation is safe to do so. I like to train my dogs on their basics skills and tricks because I do believe that makes life easier for everyone. I am not opposed to crate training or using it when necessary.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality — whether that means playtime, walks, or quiet companionship. I don’t currently have pets of my own because I move often, but that’s exactly why I put extra love and attention into caring for others’ pets. I’m patient, gentle, and dependable, and I always make sure every animal feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have night class on Monday and Thursday and obviously class two hours of the day but I am pretty flexible throughout the week and I am willing to work with you on what you need. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible — including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I always take time to make each pet feel comfortable and loved, giving them plenty of attention and affection while respecting their space. I keep things tidy, make sure food and water are always fresh, and send updates so you can see how happy your pet is while you’re away.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love and experience with animals. Growing up on a farm taught me patience and responsibility, and I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I offer puppy training basics, gentle senior pet care, and medication support when needed. Most importantly, I provide consistent, loving attention so your pets feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part time, which leaves me plenty of flexibility. I’m available most days of the week to give animals consistent care, attention, and companionship. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping pets company, I can easily adjust my schedule to meet their needs. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of love, play, and attention. Walks, feedings, and cuddle time are always part of the routine. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely to keep pets on their normal schedule—whether that means meals, walks, medications, or bedtime routines—so they feel secure and cared for in their familiar space.
About: I have been taking care of three dogs since I moved to the USA in 2021. Previously, I was taking care of a lab and many cats in my home country,Nepal. Last December, my lab had a knee surgery and I was taking care of her, making sure she gets her medication on time and is not jumping around and doing her exercises. I made sure to sleep with her on the main floor so that she won’t have to do stairs and is not hurting her leg at night. I made sure to take her potty using her sling to support. I have experience using different types of pet care equipments. I also take care of my old bind dog. His name is Pete. I make sure that he has his halo on so that he doesn’t bump into things. I keep the dogs water bowl full at all time with clean and fresh water. And feed them on their scheduled basis. I am also active with my dogs, taking them for walks, playing with them, teaching them tricks and basic commands. I am also good at dog grooming. I help keep them healthy with up-to-date vet visits and their monthly vitamins. I currently have a flexible schedule because my classes are online, and I am also looking for a job. Because of this, I have plenty of time to include pet care in my daily routine. I can take care of pets throughout the day, including feeding them, taking them for walks, playing with them, and making sure they are comfortable. I live in a condo where pets are allowed. But I don’t have a fenced yard so I must keep the dogs leashed when taken outside. Also, I don’t have any pets in the condo with me. I am always around to take care of your pets as I don’t go many places.

I would do the same or more for my clients. I also expect my clients to line out any needs and rules for me in their homes and/or for their pets so I can take care of them as desired.

“Torey is amazing ❤️? The pics she sent of my gentle giants looking so content told me they were comfy and happy! Plus my Bella takes a lot of meds and eye drops and Torey had no problems handling that tricky issue. I would DEFINITELY book with her again!”

“Nathan is fantastic! He sent pictures and videos throughout and my pup seemed to have a blast! He went to a dog bar, played with neighborhood kids and even helped with yard work.”

“Lori was great! I was a little nervous as I had never boarded or left Andre with a stranger but she kept me updated daily. She was very accommodating and responded quickly to any and all messages and questions. I would highly recommend! Thanks Lori!”
