“Ashley has been amazing with our pup! We have a very anxious dog who does not like new people, and Ashley did such a good job with her, working at her speed and building rapport. We have also had a kind of crazy schedule with some last-minute changes, and Ashley has been so flexible. We appreciate her so much.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was little. I have helped family and friends take care of their pets when they are out of town. I am a stay at home mom so this gives me plenty of time to care for your pets when you are out of town. To ensure your pet is safe and will not escape and well taken care of I would make sure fence gates and or house doors are shut and locked

“Such a relief to have Kayla take care of Bailey while we were gone on vacation. The day before we left Bailey was not feeling well and wasn’t eating and I was super worried. Kayla kept us up-to-date and informed, and assured she would take care of anything that needed to be done. I was able to enjoy the vacation thanks to her!”

“Going on trips for few days feel so easy now because of Lindy! She took care of my cat Pepper while I was a way for coupe days. Lindy is caring, attentive and reliable! Thanks Lindy!”

About: Since I could open my eyes, there has been a dog in front of them. Growing up, my family bred and raised AKC yellow labs. I also worked for a horse/dog breeder, helping take care and market Aussie puppies. I also have experience with senior dogs. My senior lab lost all function in his hind end towards the end of his life and I was his primary care giver. Senior care was the hardest and most fulfilling job I’ve had. I am currently in school to become a veterinary technician and I have been working in a clinic setting for almost a year now. I am taking a break from the clinic to focus on school and enjoy my summer. Send your furry friends my way!❤️🐾 I’m doing some other little side jobs but I am free otherwise. I have school that I need to attend to daily. I was working at a veterinary clinic but I am now taking a break to focus on school and enjoy the summer. I am also offering nail trims for an extra charge ;) I have two dogs at my house that are not friendly to other dogs. This means that I will be strictly keeping dogs at owners houses, streets, towns, etc. and there will be no chance of interaction between my dogs and any other dogs ☺️

“The last couple requests with Maleny has been last minute and she has accepted every time! She does a great job and we trust her with our furbabies. Thank you Maleny!”

“Kevin was amazing with my very anti social cat while I was away and even got her to make friends with him by the end of the week! Will definitely be back next time I need a cat sitter.”

About: Hi there! My name is Brianna and I have taken care of pets for 12 years. I’ve worked at an animal boarding facility and I volunteered at animal shelters as well. I have taken care of my family, friends and neighbors animals of all shapes and sizes. From as little as guinea pigs to as big as a draft horse. I absolutely love all animals. I feel that animals are family and deserve all the love and care we can provide. I would like to step away from my current job to pursue my love of animal care. Im currently available at anytime of the day. I am able to walk your dogs or come and take care of your animals while you are out of town. I can take care of your animals at my house as well, just want to make sure they get along with my fur babies too.

About: As the small business owner of dog daycare and pet boarding facility since 2017, I know how important it is for pet parents like you and me to find quality pet services with the highest of standards for care and safety. While I still own and operate my boarding and daycare facility, the increase in demand for in-home pet sitting for geriatric, timid, or just flat out spoiled pets (they deserve it!) has peaked my interest, and I’d love to be able to continue to contribute my professional pet care knowledge and experience to pet parents like you in a more 1:1 setting. Prior to owning my business, I worked at a pet hospital for a couple years learning how to properly care for and handle anxious, timid, and wiggly dogs and cats, which I have been able to grow significantly in my pet boarding and daycare career. I am no stranger to medication administration and other special care needs (whether behavioral or physical) and truly enjoy getting to know each pet (and their parents!) who I have the honor to work with 1:1. Transparency, excellent communication, safety, and reliability are all incredibly important to me when it comes to working with pet parents like yourself. Whether through my own pet care business or through Rover, I never want a pet parent to worry about their pet's care, safety, or comfortability while away, which I practice through daily updates and 24/7 availability to communicate. Additional services can be discussed during our initial meet-and-greet! When I'm not working, I enjoy caring for my own pets, including several horses, goats, two golden retrievers, a couple barn kitties, a cockatiel, and guinea pig. Since I'm a remote business owner, I have relatively flexible and open availability during the week, over weekends, and during the holidays! While advance notice is highly preferred and recommended, I can usually squeeze in overnight or daytime drop-in visits and walks for emergencies and last minute plans. I am more than happy to cater to your preferences when it comes to entering and leaving your home including triple checking doors and gates are locked, crating your pup before leaving (if desired), checking for and cleaning up after any messes, leaving lights on or ensuring they're turned off before departing, etc. If no specific instructions are given, I will treat your home as I would my own, and reach out to you with any questions, concerns, or updates.

About: I am a stay at home student where I am working to become a certified dog trainer. Animals have been a passion of mine ever since I was little. I have had the pleasure of being the caregiver to birds, fish, Guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats and horses. I am currently the proud mom of a rescued mustang, two rescued pitbulls from high kill shelters and a rescued cat. I help assist with a puppy class at my local humane society and help walk dogs on their walk shifts. I am a red tag walker at the shelter which means I am capable of handling strong pullers, jumpy mouthy and reactive dogs. Also can help those who may just need a little more confidence. I am a positive trainer and dont believe you need to use choke or prong collars to enjoy a walk with your dog.

About: I love all breeds, no limits! I fostered 19 dogs and found them their forever home while volunteering at the Vancouver Humane Society. If your pet has special needs and/or require medication dosing, I got it! My years served as an EMT cross over into the pet care that I provide. I'll be your best sitter, guaranteed! Pick me please! I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I am an early riser and love to start my day with walks, no matter weather conditions. The best place for our pets to be when we leave, is at home. I'll blend in as though you never left. I have been a Firefighter/EMT for 30 years and will care for your pets as though they are mine.

About: I've always been an animal whisperer, with animals of all type. I grew up on a farm/forest, and befriended wild animals on a regular basis, as well as our domesticated dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, horses etc. Since then, I have volunteered for animal shelters, continued befriending all animals I meet, honed my skills with consciously working energy between animals/humans, even learned some animals massage. And currently have friendly dogs, cats, goats, chickens on the 62 acre farm. We also have private areas for your pet, away from other animals. We have multiple people on land, and care is upon self or 2-3 others. We allow only one inside house dog at a time and 2-3 in our shaded outdoor pens. We have fenced areas, some outdoor pens, and some animals of the right nature are allowed inside the home, if that is welcomed by their owners/their demeanor is right, during times of extra special personal attention.
