About: I was raised in a household full of a range of animals, and in my free time volunteer at the Animal Shelter walking the dogs. I am currently at student at CWU majoring in ELEM ED with morning classes. During the afternoon, I work as a babysitter. My position is very flexible, so mid-day drop ins are available. I care for pets by giving them my full attention and love. Animals are like people with feelings and thoughts, and I think my duty is to make sure they are completely cared for in every aspect.

About: I love to make dogs happy, have fun and enjoy life! Let’s take a lot of walks, eat good treats, and get lots of pets! Through the summer months I am totally open to accept pet sitting, dog walks, feeding, check ins whatever is needed! I work part time during school season. I always use a leash when caring for others pets, unless there is a fenced, safe area. I will follow the owners guidelines, exactly. Extremely responsible.

About: I’ve handled and helped train all sorts of dogs after working at a dog Daycare/Boarding facility for almost a year. I know how to administer medications and help anxious pets. Additionally, I grew up on a farm, raising and helping take care of many different animals (cats, dogs, goats, horses.) I always manage to befriend all kinds of animals and look forward to meeting your furry friends :) I’m currently working part-time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I also grew up around many different animals, and love being around them in general. I’m very gentle and patient with animals. I know many cues and how to read animal body language. I’m quick to react in stressful situations. I also know how to spot things that may be off in their health and know how to quickly check for injuries.

About: Animal behavior is complex. It has fascinated me from a young age, where I got my start in animal care. From barrel racing horses and showing Irish Wolfhounds, I've been doing it all since I was very small! I worked in multiple show and boarding kennels, vet clinics and pet stores throughout high school and college. I worked as a team lead and assistant trainer at Waggin' Tails ranch for about 5 years, before moving on to work in shelters providing behavioral services. I have a B.S in psychology alongside being a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant. I aim to help you with the skills you want your furry friend to learn, while you are away! We will work on skills and behaviors, and then have a session with you when you get back so you know what we worked on while you were gone! I have a flexible job, so I can do drop ins, walks, etc. Whatever may be needed. I do prioritize sitting animals who may be behaviorally challenged. If I am unable to accommodate you, I have a network of people I can refer you to! Safety is my top priority. All training happens on leash or in a contained space. I am animal first aid and CPR certified. My focus is always on building relationships and rapport with my clients and furry friends.

About: I have grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and absolutely love them. I am hoping to help care for many more pets while owners are unable to. I’m looking forward to meeting your furry friends! I am looking into further education so I won’t be able to do much during the school day, but I am able to do drop in visits. After school on most days I can have a few hours for pet care. I have two dogs and a cat that I keep fed and take on walks. I spend a little bit of time each day playing and bonding with them. My cat is an inside and outside cat that tends to go on walks with me and the dogs (just at his own pace). All of my pets get a lot of love and care. I also have helped get young dogs to have a more gentle mouth and a little less food possessive, although this typically works better for young dogs/ puppies. While doing drop in visits for a friend’s dogs for 2 weeks, I feed, watered, walked, and played with both of there dogs. I really enjoyed getting to spend the time with them during that period.

“Lauren did a great job with my kitty! She was very easy to communicate with and sent me updates and pictures every day. I knew my kitty was well taken care of, and she seems to have enjoyed having Lauren stop by. I will definitely be reserving with Lauren in the future!”

“Such a sweet person and very attentive and professional! I could tell my cat liked them a lot and when I came back from my trip I swear she was disappointed when I walked through the door and not Onyx! A super nice and very cool sitter, 100 out of 10 stars ⭐️”

About: I have several families who regularly ask me to care for their beloved animals while they’re away. They appreciate it because I love animals, and it gives a peace of mind to know that they are well cared for. I’m currently a student at CWU and I am missing my own animals at home! I love all animals and love spending time with them, whether it’s going for walks or lounging giving lots of attention. I am willing to work with you on a system or schedule that will benefit you and your pet depending on what they need, whether it’s crating at night, or an evening walk to burn some energy.

“Nika was an amazing cat sitter for our three boys for nine days. The boys were happy and well cared for (they have long hair and need a lot of grooming) and didn’t seem to even miss us much when we got home. And the house was spotless. She was responsive and communicative. We appreciated having Nika take care of the boys so much. 10/10 experience. Thanks so much! Amy and Luke”

About: I've had dogs all my life. I am Good with all breeds but love big dogs.(grew up with mastiffs and great danes) Also have experience with stubborn breeds like boxer. At the moment I am almost always free. Basically anytime you need i can hang out with your pets. If you need someone quick I can be ready in about an hour. I currently live in an apartment with some parks close by that I can take your fur baby to. I also have some toys to play with them.

About: I have owned and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes my entire life, from lizards, fish, and rodents to livestock. I am certified in pet first aid and CPR. I have 15+ years of experience administering medications of all kinds. I have worked at a pet care facility for over a year as well as assisting with pet care on the side for the last 7+ years, as such, I am trained in body language recognition, safe and defensive handling, and dog play groups management. Pet care is my life! Currently, I work just under full time at a pet care facility as well as having two cats and a dog of my own at home. In my own home, I ensure pets stay safe by utilizing pet gates and fences when and where necessary, on walks I like to maintain two points of connection with the animal at all times (generally with two leashes or a leash that connects to the animal in two locations), and I'm always vigilant about any wear and tear on all collars/leashes/safety equipment/fences/crates.

About: I am a responsible, reliable, patient and gentle dog owner. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and know enough about cats as well to take care of them. From friends to family to neighbors, I’ve taken care of many pets and have house sat for as long as a week. I am a junior in college and attend Central Washington University in Ellensburg. I only have class for an hour from 12-1pm. I have great time management and pets are always a priority. I will care for pets however the owner would like, I’m very respectful and would only care for pets how owner would like me too.

Ellensburg cat parents share their Rover experiences
Charles went above and beyond for our senior cat, Okami! She had intense separation anxiety and was stressed out for the duration of our vacation, and Charles attended to every single need of hers. He provided timely responses, pictures, and advice to each of our concerns. He is an excellent carer. Would rate six stars if possible!

Lillian did a great job! She showed up on time or early. Did everything on the list. And in the end all the animals were happy and all the plants were watered and still lush and green when we came back. She even stayed around a little longer - than was asked of her - to ensure that everyone were settled for the night. Thanks Lillian! We’ll keep you in mind for our next trip!
