“This was our first time using Rover and I must say that Shelby was outstanding!! She was extremely responsive and since both of my cats required medication administration, she was very willing to set up a meet and greet to meet ours cats and to see the process to give them their medications. All went so well during the meet and greet, but when it came time for Shelby to visit the cats during our vacation, my cats decided to not cooperate by hiding from her and made it pretty difficult to give them their medications as they would keep running away. Shelby was very honest about how things were going and provided detailed updates with photos. She was extremely patient with my cats and they were able to get more comfortable as the week went on and eventually let her pick them up and stopped hiding which was very reassuring. She did excellent with getting them their medications even though the cats didn't make it easy! She was on time, provided excellent care, and we were able to relax on vacation knowing they were cared for. We plan to have Shelby help us again in the future!! Thanks SO much Shelby!!”

“Cindy was absolutely wonderful with Kit Cat Floof and is very capable of handling a moody, sneaky, skittish, lonely, timid kitty. We ? recommend her.”

“Sophia communicated great about our two dogs and checked in consistently! We look forward to booking with her again!”

“Randie was very good with the pups and extremely kind. Great to have met her through River!! Would definitely have her back to watch my pups again.”

About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.

About: I have had pets all of my life. I was a pet sitter in college for several families. I also worked at a doggy daycare & boarding facility where I fed, bathed, administered medications, let outside, and worked with owners to provide the best care possible. From June-August I am very open weekdays and weekends. August-May I am open evenings and weekends. I can be flexible with what works best for you. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every pet like they’re my own, with love, patience, and lots of belly rubs. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where animals can feel safe, whether we’re at home, on a walk, or just hanging out. I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of your pet’s routine and your home. I’ve also worked as a nanny and personal care assistant, so I understand the importance of trust, attention to detail, and creating a peaceful environment. Whether your pet needs structured care or just a cozy cuddle buddy, I’ve got it covered!

“Shannon was fantastic with our pups! We were a last minute booking due to other plans falling through and I couldn’t have asked for better care for the dogs! She sent us many pictures throughout her 30 minute visit. I knew my dogs were well cared for. I will definitely use Shannon again in the future. :)”

About: Hi, I’m Libby! I worked at a dog kennel for 4 years and have been dog sitting for families since high school. I’m experienced with all kinds of dogs and love making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ll treat your pup like my own and keep you updated along the way! Right now, I work part-time retail (mostly evenings), and I’m currently looking for a full-time job, so my schedule can be a bit flexible during the day. While things are a little up in the air, I always make sure to plan ahead so pets get the care and attention they need. If something ever comes up, I’ll communicate clearly and make sure your pet is still well taken care of. When caring for pets in their own home, I try my best to stick closely to their usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of play and potty breaks, and feel safe while you’re away. I’m respectful of your space and always keep you updated with how your pet is doing!

About: Dogs have been apart of my life ever since I was 3. I have been taking care of and watching animals since I was about 8, to include my neighbors dogs and cats. I have worked with a multitude of animals ranging from puppies to seniors and small to large breeds. I hope you choose me with the care of your precious pets! Whether it be going on walks with my dog or doing a short training exercise I am always home and ready to play and engage with my pet. I will continue to adapt my approach as I meet and engage with new animals. Making sure I fit my schedule to the pets needs and wants. Ensuring a healthy and positive experience when the owner returns home.

About: I have had a pet around the house ever since I was born. I have the task of taking care of my two senior cats, administering doses of insulin twice a day to my diabetic cat. I also have a senior dog whom I watch over and adore. I am currently working a part-time job, twice a week, so I will have plenty of free time to take care of animals. Even on the days I do work I can do check ins before and after my shifts. I will have an introductory consultation to meet your pet/s to learn their routines, preferences, dietary needs, and any medical requirements. I will note special items, specific food measurements and feeding schedules.

About: My name is Marill. I love all animals. I have been watching animals since 2006. I absolutely love dogs. Every pet I've ever watched I try to mimic their home behavior so there are no bad habbits learned. If they aren't allowed on the couch at home. I wont let them here. If they are working on commands I will use your verbiage and hopefully return them to you more trained then when they came! If you want them to have the best time ever and be on vaca too, I can absolutely do that as well with beach days and sleeping in, on my bed! I want your pet to feel happy and loved while you're away and I can always provide pictures and video's too if you'd like! I have had a lot of experience with dog behaviors, training and medications and am always willing to learn. I chose to do Rover because I no longer wanted to leave my older dog… then COVID happened and I lost all 4 of my hospitality jobs so I chose to watch dogs full time! Rover is just one more way to get my name out there, but this is all I do all day long and I love it! I own a boarding business that I run out of my home so I’m here all day every day doing what I love. So Rover is just a great way to get in touch with people that need their pet to be in a safe and happy environment while they are away. I have 6 dogs of my own. Ranging from 6 years to 1. All different play styles or all of them love to sleep too! I have everything your dog needs to feel safe, get properly socialized, learn in a group setting and really enjoy coming here every time. I love all the dogs I watch just as if they were my own.

About: We are a cozy, warm, loving family of four who love animals! I (Jenny) rescued my first dog, Summit-a black lab mix over 17 years ago. He was with us for 14 years and our home feels empty now that he is gone, but we aren’t quite ready to commit to having another pet full-time again. We are really looking forward to playing and giving your dog some love and attention! While Matt works a part time job in the winter, weekends are very open for Jenny and the kids. We are home most weekends and would love to have your furry friend join us! We currently have no pets of our own so your fur baby will have ALL of our attention! We have an unfinished basement where a crate will fit perfectly for your pet. Our yard is not fenced, but we have no problem taking the dogs out for potty breaks and walks with a leash. We love to be outside so your pet will have lots of fun with us!! We are home during the winter months and weekends are very open for us! We are available most Fridays-Sundays for your weekend getaways! Some weekdays may also be available. In our home will will require your pet to be crate trained for evenings or if we need to step away from the home for a bit. While we are home your pet will be welcome to join us throughout our home.

“Bella has been absolutely wonderful caring for our furry family - our dog, puppy, and two cats. What truly sets her apart is her reliability and expertise with our diabetic cat who requires daily insulin injections. She’s never missed a scheduled injection time and handles the medical care with such confidence and precision. Beyond the medical responsibilities, Bella genuinely loves our pets. She doesn’t just complete the tasks and leave - she spends quality time with each animal, giving them the attention and affection they crave. Her attention to detail gives us complete peace of mind when we’re away, knowing our pets are not just being fed and medicated, but truly cared for. You can tell Bella has a natural gift with animals and takes real pride in what she does. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate pet care.”
