“Haylee was very gracious and amazing to take my short notice request and welcome our dog at an early hour on a Saturday. She made the whole process easy and gave me peace of mind. Our dog was relaxed with her from the start, picking up on her relaxed demeanor. I appreciated her excellent communication and updates. She went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Highly recommend!”

We had our meet and greet, Gringo already acted like he has known them forever, she sends constant update (pictures and videos) makes me feel secured that he is in good and caring environment plus Kooper ( their pet) gets along so well with him. They are a very nice couple, I feel comfortable leaving Gringo with them. He was excited when we drive thru their gated community, he just knew it!”

About: As a teen and young adult, I had cats and a dog that were treated like family. We love and talk about them to this day! (I'm old now, so they were truly impactful!) But, it was always hard to go anywhere for any length of time, we always felt so guilty being gone! And forget vacation! But now, with a service like Rover, we have access to sitter services that free up time and space to venture, without feeling the guilt of leaving your pet! If you're in the hospital recovering or having a baby, give us the opportunity to watch your pet while you focus on the task at hand! My husband and I have traveled extensively for many years and have finally started to slow down a bit. On the road, whenever we found ourselves in the company of animals, we always found our calm and our most happy moments! We now have a home with a fully fenced backyard and are looking forward to providing love and cozy surroundings to your fur baby(s) while you have time to explore! We are both nurses, I work two days per week and he is retired, so we also have experience with medical needs as well as time to spend with your pet. Your dog will have plenty of space to hang out and make themselves comfortable. Our home is air conditioned, in a quiet cul-de-sac with little traffic and sidewalks. We value playtime and lounge time equally! We do not kennel dogs unless we are asked to by their owners if they are use to it for sleep or when we leave the house. We only host one client at a time so that your dog/dogs can feel most comfortable and relaxed. We have no children, so no sudden movements or startling motions or loud noises if that is an issue for your older or anxious pet. We aren't sure who will benefit the most from this experience! Dogs are pure joy and love, giving so much to others. We would be delighted to take care of your beloved! We have a fairly flexible schedule since I work only two days a week and my husband is retired. We do still enjoy traveling, so sometimes we will be unavailable. Scheduling ahead of time is helpful! We have a fully fenced back yard and live in a quiet cul-de-sac. Our one level home is easy for your older pup as there are no stairs for aging joints to navigate.
“I had to book Marilyn last minute at 7am—literally as I was leaving for my hike because my previously scheduled Rover failed to meet me. She quickly took my dog in and watched that she didn't exercise much (she just had surgery). I know that Marilyn watched her because with the other Rover, my dog would come back limping indicating to me that she was exercising too much. With Marilyn, she did not limp after picking her up. I would book her more often if the location was closer!”

About: My name is Dorothy, I have dogs & cats at home. I'm willing to watch dogs at my home but I can always go check on animals! If you have animals other than dogs, I can watch after them too. I'm great with animals and love them all! I've had pets for about 13 years now and their health and safety is my number one priority. In the future I plan on working in wildlife rehabilitation so I love working with animals any time I can! I can watch after, check on, and walk your dog(s). Right now I work from home most of the week. I'm very flexible with times so send me a message and we'll figure it out! Hope to see your furry best friends soon! I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I can pretty much care for animals any time of the day. Reach out and let me know! I have a fenced in yard at my house for my dogs which is convenient for me. I also have plenty of property separated to allow dogs to run around on. I can always take your dog out for a walk or play. And if they need some off leash time, my yard could work great!
About: I’ve had dogs for 10+ years, taken care of family and friend’s dogs for 4 years, and volunteered at a dog shelter for 2 years when I was 16. At the dog shelter, I bathed, fed, walked, played with, and got to know each dog as well as their individual needs. I'm currently working from home, so I will be able to keep an eye on your pup at all times. My job is pretty flexible, so I can adjust my work schedule around your pups needs as well (e.g., potty breaks every 2 hours, specific meal times). I live in a house with a large fenced yard, have two dogs to keep your pup company, and can crate your dog if you prefer that. I keep my dogs separated from other dogs (in another room or in their crate depending on your preference) when I go to the store, shower, etc.
About: I have grown up with many different kinds of animals for as long as I can remember, including dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and even ducks & geese! I have always helped take care of all the family animals growing up and as I grew up, I continued to take care of relatives, as well as friends and acquaintances animals as well. I am an avid animal of all kinds lover and will always give them endless amounts of love and attention, always treating & caring for them as though they were my own. I am currently only working side gigs as I take care of my own fur babies at home, so I have lots of time, attention, and love to give to your pet(s)! I have a two-story home with a good sized, fenced in back yard, with lots of grass for your fur baby to run around and play in.

“Kendall was a perfect fit for my dog Lucy. It’s obvious how much she loves giving attention and affection to pets in her care. She was so friendly, kind, and enthusiastic toward Lucy and very flexible and accommodating with my schedule. She answered my questions and texts promptly, and gave me little reports and pictures throughout the day. I felt completely comfortable leaving my fur baby with her and will definitely use her again.”
