“Mrs. Melanie takes care of my son just like I do and sends lots of pics throughout to day to update me of all the fun! She sends me great descriptive messages of his activities, also. I can’t thank her enough for watching my fur baby while I’m at work!”

“Highly recommend! I was able to secure a last minute booking for my tiny Chihuahua puppy while my daughter went to a doctor's appointment nearby, very happy with the service Schneila provided.”

“Finally a sitter we are so confident about! Enzo is very communicative and accommodating to our fur baby with a lot of anxiety. He really listens and understands! Definitely will be rebooking him for our future needs.”

About: I have 9yrs experience of taking care of a German Shepard mix. I understand no two dogs are the same and each some with their own personalities and needs. I work fully remote at home and have a pretty flexible schedule! That being said, I would be available 24/7 and happy to organize a pick up or drop off time that works best for you. I have a 2,300sq foot house in Cotswold with a huge fenced in backyard. I’m happy to host here or at your house based on your pets needs. I don’t have any pets and just one roommate whose hallway will be blocked off. Otherwise, my home environment is calm and open.

“Thanks so much for having Luna again! I really appreciate you always doing your best to fit Luna in at a moments notice and treating her as if she’s your own!”

“Ashly was incredible with our little golden doodle pup! We were very nervous at first with a sitter since we only had him for 4 days but she made us feel comfortable and safe!”

About: I grew up surrounded by lots of cats and have been caring for them my whole life. I also have a dog and a cat of my own now, so I truly understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I naturally connect with dogs and cats of all kinds — shy, playful, big, or small — and I trained my own dog, so I’m comfortable handling different needs and personalities. I love giving every pet the same care and attention I’d want for my own fur babies. I recently had to quit my full time job to focus on my school. So i am mostly available. For the walks i prefer early or after 4-5pm because of the heat but otherwise i am mostly available. When I visit your home for walking or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine closely — from feeding schedules to playtime preferences and any special needs. I spend quality time with them, offering lots of attention, gentle play, and calm companionship to help them feel safe and happy while you’re away. During walks, I keep your dog’s pace and personality in mind — whether they love energetic runs or slower strolls — and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: Animals aren’t just pets — they’re family. I’d be more than happy to care for your dog or cat with the same love and attention they’re used to. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to offer walks or drop-in visits as needed. I form strong bonds with animals quickly and naturally, so your pet will feel comfortable and well-cared for. Let me know what you need, and I’ll be happy to work with you to find the right arrangement. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Please NOTE: For house sitting requests, I do have a Yorkie that I may need to bring with me. Thank you! I work remotely so my schedule is very flexible. Communicate what’s needed and I’m sure we can work something out. Love to see how I can assist! I personally allow my dogs on furniture but if that is not your preference, let me know and I’ll be sure to follow your rules in your home.

“Shannon is awesome! With my busy work schedule, she was okay with a late night pick up. She even recorded when Georgia drank water, went outside, etc. Georgia even got to cuddle up in bed with her. Such a great experience with Shannon and Rover knowing that my fur baby was well taken care of. We will definitely be returning for future help with Georgia. 10/10 recommend.”

About: We both grew up with dogs and have two of our own. We have also enjoyed fostering in our free time over the past few years, so we have a lot of experience with dogs that have separation anxiety, heartworm, or any other special needs. We are two young working professionals with one of us working from home full time. This allows your dog to roam free and get all of the love and attention they need! We have a fully fenced back yard with two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. We can easily crate your dog if needed (we have an impact crate for dogs with severe separation anxiety or parents concerned about the safety of traditional wire crates). We treat all dogs that come into our home as family!

“So thankful for Thu! She was able to watch Jasper last minute on a holiday weekend and did a great job handling all of his puppy energy. She sent pic updates and was communicative and flexible. Definitely recommend!”

About: Besides being an avid animal lover since birth- I have always grown up around dogs. In middle school I drafted up a contract to propose the idea of getting my very own bestie, a rescue dog named Ben! My parents signed and agreed! I read a bunch of books on how to properly care and train for animals. Fast forward to today, I’m 26, and have been raising and training a mini Daschund, Peeve, for about a year and a half now. I believe that every dog is an individual with a personality, likes, dislikes and the desire to be loved and cared for. When hosting animals at my home my number one priority is their safety and comfort. Peeve has been going to training since he was a baby so I’ve been learning a ton about younger dog training! Not to mention one of my best friends is a dog trainer so she’s been teaching me! I work full time but am home the majority of the week! My schedule is super flexible and I typically go into the office 1-2 days a week, however if I am boarding your pet I would be sure to be working from home the entire time! I live an active lifestyle and go on multiple walks a day, which your pet can join in on. I currently have my own dog who thrives in a structured environment so I’m used to managing the needs of a pet The environment your pet will be in is safe and loving! I live in an extremely safe area with lots of sidewalks and parks to take your baby on walks. I also have a fenced in backyard with sunny and shaded areas for them to play!

About: Hi I am Rachel! I am a true animal lover and always felt a deep connection to dogs. I have a great deal of experience that started when I was 14, walking and caring for animals around my neighborhood ! I took a break from Rover to do fostering where I housed over 8 dogs on a long term basis. I look forward to bonding with your pet! I am very flexible and can meet any needs your pet/home may need! I will make sure your animal is under the best care possible while also receiving extra love :) I am currently in PhD school! My schedule is flexible and adaptable! There are times where I am working in the lab for long periods of time and that will be reflected in my schedule. I am in a large studio apartment and live next to many dog parks! I do have a cat, but she was raised around dogs and will often just hide. I am capable of anything you need during home visits including walking, feeding, medication administration, placing in crate or even home maintenance during long trips away!

Jonathan R.
“There's not many people that I trust with my dogs. I'm very particular and they are like my kids since I don't have any, Jon is the absolute best with animals of any kind, he's the most kind hearted loving person! He's beyond trustworthy that your babies would be taken care of and loved. He's watched my dogs many times he's also been there for me when I've lost dogs that were my family. He recently lost his best friend, his dog of a long time and I think Rover would be the best way for him to give love and help care for animals until he's ready for another best friend!”

Elizabeth dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alexandra is a life saver! I was visiting from out of town with my pup Cheese and had a concert my first night in Charlotte. Alexandra was helpful and communicative during the planning process and Cheese was incredibly comfortable in her home. I received so many pictures of Cheese and I knew she was in heaven. Highly recommend!

Liliana took such great care of my 3 month old puppy Shelby! She was incredibly kind, patient, and communicative throughout the whole daycare. Even when Shelby had a few little accidents (as puppies do!), she handled everything with understanding and kept me updated with thoughtful messages as well. I could tell Shelby felt relax and cared for in her home. Thank you so much!

Nicole was amazing! I had to book her last minute -- just the night before -- when coming from out of town, and she was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating!! She took great care of my baby who seemed at ease when I picked her up. Nicole is very sweet, warm, and professional and you can tell she definitely cares about the furry one she watches. She even has one, herself! I for sure will book with her again!!
