About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

About: I am a musician and writer with a life-long affinity towards dogs. My wife and I recently had two small/medium dogs that we cherished as members of our family. Since their passing, I am enjoying the time I can spend with your pets! I work from home when not traveling as a touring bluegrass musician, which brings me around the world. While I am home in Chapel Hill I have full flexibility to attend your pets needs. I enjoy walking the miles of forest trails behind our home and love to bring dogs along. I prefer walking each separately so they can follow their natural stride. Our previous dogs required daily medications, so I am experienced with administering that and other special needs. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I love hitting the forest trail outside my backdoor for my own excercise. I can be flexible to your pet’s needs and fit their normal routine. In our home or yours, I give animals respect without letting them run the show. Exercise and play time is an important part of our day so all can be relaxed and happy.

About: I’ve had and loved animals since I was a kid! For several years now I’ve been able to assist close friends and some family with making sure their babies are cared for while they are away. My schedule fluctuates from week to week— but I do work from home, and I am available most weekends. There are other dogs present in the home that are super excited and playful with other animals as well! Large, fenced in yard for pets to roam. Neighborhood setting for walks. I also have an addition/enclosed room off of the back porch for our pups to have their own space (heating and air). Pets are allowed inside the home as well!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats. I’m very experienced with both. I use to watch my aunts dogs for her while she was at work. She has 2 dogs and I’d sometimes watch her cats which at the time she had 4. I’m always dealing with cats and dogs. I care for them everyday no matter what. I love animals and I can take care of them. I can feed them, take them for walks, play with them. Do all of the things cats or dogs need. I do these things on a daily basis.

About: Recently been certified to train dogs in basic behavioral problems. Would love to pet sit your fur baby. I have had dogs my whole life and I'm just looking to start my business in a career that I have a passion for. Hope you give me a chance. I work part time, but I always have time to pet sit and walk your dog(s) while i'm not working. My time availability will be limited at first, but I ensure you they are in good paws with me. I have a huge fenced in yard with 3 other dogs who are very friendly around new dogs. Right now I would like to start by walking your dogs first so they get to know me before I pet sit them.

About: Hi! My name is Diane and I love all animals .I have worked in the pet industry full time in the last 10 years in kennels , grooming boarding, daycare and training facilities . About: I have a natural way with dogs, backed by years of reading and research on dog behaviour and well-being. I provide a calm environment for dogs, working to meet their needs and encouraging social behaviour through R+ training. I am a very active farming mama, mostly home on our 25 acres with my kids. I can walk or run with the dog(s) daily, plus lots of outside enrichment, training and/or brain games as well as making time for quiet naps. I have lots of opportunities throughout each day to engage with pets at my home. I can care for clients’ dogs at our 25 acre farm that has fields and forests for sniffaris and running around. Ivy, our 4 year spayed female dog is very good with other dogs, tending towards ignoring and peace keeping. clients’ dogs. Clients’ dogs will be housed inside at night, with lots of time outside from early in the morning until late evening. I can help train, groom and administer medication with clear instructions.

About: I’ve been assisting with pet care for various friends/neighbors for the past decade and truly have not met an animal I didn’t love! I am available for pet walks, check-ins and occasional housing. My service industry job allows me to provide mid week availability for all pet needs, my weekends are Tuesday-Thursday where I’m always seeking out things to do! I have a fenced in home with a deck and welcome pets into my home. I’m able to provide undivided attention to them by providing playtime/walks when needed and a comfortable space for relaxing once they are ready for rest.

About: I’ve grown up always having cats and dogs, and I value their companionship more than anything! Not only have I taken care of my own fur babies, but I’ve had other family members and friends ask for my time to take care of their pets while they were away, which is why I decided to come here and make myself useful to you! I’m currently in school for my undergraduate degree, so taking care of animals is a great full time position for me and helps me better understand different animals’ needs! My parents have two pug/pekingese mix at home that I frequently sit for, and they’re also crate trained. They’re also used to potty breaks every two hours in my parents’ fenced in yard.
